Xaurilia:

A sector within the Mid Rim territories, between the Naboo, Triffis and Mon Gazza sectors, in the past the sector was known for its variation of livelihoods, but was a firm member of the Old Republic and later the Galactic Republic.

There are numerous worlds within the sector but the heart is the Xaurilia system itself, where the sectors defacto capitol is found. The World of Xaurilia is known for its architecture, art and refined manner, peaceful and prosperous, the planet possesses a landscape of forests, jungles, pleasant open plains, mountains, hills and crystal clear oceans.

Such beauty is carefully monitored due to the planets history, where in the past the extraction of resources across different regions nearly caused a ecological disaster. But now, the Xaurilians are very proud to have a planet of beauty and grace where life can flourish and grow.

Asana City - Xaurilia

Its architectural marvels and wonder can be signified within the Capitol city of Asana, although divided by mighty walls, it is a city of peace and endless life, in the lower levels are various districts, from homes to markets. In the upper levels are the districts of authority and purpose, such as the government quarter, the homes of the nobility and all ending with the grandeur of the Royal Palace.

For Xaurilia is ruled by a traditional monarchy, one that is not bound by either gender, though the royal family is firmly human as Xaurilia and most of the sector were settled by humans thousands of years ago. The position of the Monarch is not bound to a gender, it is always the first born child, be they a boy or a girl, though there are restrictions upon the Monarchs power, each planet within the sector has an elected official or councillor to speak for them in the Royal council to advise the monarch on matters.

In total there are four main systems and worlds within the Xaurilia sector, Xaurilia itself at the heart, then there is Fro'ah, Ionerth and finally Anvara.

Fro'ah

Fro'ah is a planet within a perpetual ice age, the planets surface very rarely reaches above 10 degrees Celsius, almost all of the cities and settlements on the planet are focused around large generators that provide power and heat to their respective city.  Some parts of the planet are used as scrap heaps and recycling facilities, where wrecks are brought to be dismantled, the materials melted down and shipped back out to be made into new things.

Ionerth

Next is the planet of Ionerth, a world covered by vast turbulent oceans with small rocky islands dotting the surface, here the people do not use standard methods of transport such as boats though ships are often used. No the common transport across the planet is not that or even usual speeders and shuttles, but instead the people of Ionerth use a variety of Airships which fly across the sky. Some judge them for this method, seeing it as outdated, but that has not stopped the rich from the inner core visiting the planet for its luxurious vacation resorts.

Anvara

Finally there is Anvara, a planet rich with all kinds of resources, the planet is dotted with various settlements that are located close to one of several sources of industry, from large refinery complexes and facilities to the different mines and extractors that source the raw materials for said refineries.

Though there are a great number of other planets within the sector, each with different forms of settlement, from towns to small villages or just farming communities, all enjoy the pleasant peace of the Xaurilian Sector.

History:

Old Republic:

Xaurilia was a not a full member of the Old Republic during its founding days, though it did partake in trade and commerce with the planets within the Republic. Xaurilia was rather uncertain of the Republics ability to protect itself and its citizens, as both the Republic and the Jedi were constantly caught in galactic spanning wars with different factions from the old enemy of the Jedi Order, the vicious Sith as well as against the Crusaders of Mandalore.

It took many generations for the Xaurilians to take interest with the Republic and its ideology, even then it took its time, the Monarch of the sector chose to negotiate properly for inclusion into the Republic. So first Xaurilia became a provisional member where it could have a voice but only tempered, later though Xaurilia petitioned for full membership to the Republic, it was accepted and the times of peace grew.

The Galactic Republic:

Through the millennia of peace that followed the end of the Sith, Xaurilia enjoyed the peace very much, its economic structure became very glued to the fabric of the Republic. Trade routes and connections were established, with the mighty Trade Federation having a good relation with the Monarchy, as well as this the sector gained connections for business partners and political allies.

Chief among them was the System of Naboo, which Xaurilia counted as one of its closest friends both in political circles and from without. Such was proven during the Naboo crisis, when the Trade Federation in protest to new taxes being placed upon trade routes by the Galactic Republic, blockaded the planet of Naboo. Through it all the Xaurilian senator in the senate stood alongside the Naboo representative Sheev Palpatine in trying to end the blockade first within the halls of the Senate and later with the Jedi.

When all communications ceased from Naboo then the statement by the elected Queen of the Naboo, Padme Amidala, declaring that the Trade Federation had launched a military invasion and occupation of her world, Xaurilia again readied itself to stand with its closest ally. When Queen Amidala made a move of no confidence against Chancellor Valorum citing that she didn't feel that the current leadership was not doing what it must to end the occupation of her home world.

Again the senator for the Xaurilian sector stood with the Nubians, declaring in a public statement that the Monarchy of Xaurilia had decided to consider ending its trade partnership and relationship with the Trade Federation due to this act of aggression against a peaceful world.

The Separatist crisis and Clone Wars:

Years after the Naboo crisis and its conclusion with the Voting into office, Sheev Palpatine to the position of Supreme Chancellor of the Galactic Republic and the defeat of the Trade Federation on Naboo. A new crisis began to grow, as countless star systems made clear their intention of leaving the Republic and forming their own government under the leadership of former Jedi Knight Count Dooku.

Xaurilia found itself caught in the middle, though it was firmly loyal to the Republic, it recognised the ideology and cause of the Separatists, until word reached it that some of those joining its cause were private corporations and trade guilds among them was someone that they had spoken out against. Nute Gunray the viceroy of the Trade Federation who had led the blockade, invasion and occupation of Naboo years prior had joined the movement and pledged his support to Count Dooku.

When the Clone Wars erupted, Xaurilia declared for the Republic and swore it would defend itself from any encroachment from the Separatists. Such was put to the test at least 3 times, when Separatist forces not of the droid army launched attacks into the Sector. Each time the Royal Xaurilian Defence Force drove them back, for contrary to popular belief, much of the fighting in the Clone Wars was not Republic Clones vs Confederacy Droids.

There were local defence forces, localised militias that fought for either side, attacking the enemy close to them as well as repelling the opposition. During the conflict however, Xaurilia particularly its new Queen who was rather young, noticed and grew concerned with the growing power of the Supreme Chancellor Sheev Palpatine. The Queen bayed that the sectors Senator on Coruscant work with other senators to try and restrict the growing power of the Executive branch.

Xaurilia was among the first signatories in the delegation of 2,000 a group of senators which included, Padme Amidala, Bail Organa and Mon Mothma. The goal was to see the Chancellor relinquish his emergency powers the moment that the threat of the Separatists ended.

The Age of the Empire:

This all ended with the Destruction of the Jedi Order, officially the Jedi had attempted a plot to overthrow the Republic and seize power, to prevent this the Chancellor had ordered their elimination. With that he then declared the formation of the first Galactic Empire, to ensure safety, security and stability in the Galaxy with himself as Emperor.

This made many councillors and even the Queen concerned as this meant that power was not absolute within the Emperor with no limitations or restrictions. Such concerns were proven when members of the Delegation of 2,000 were arrested on suspicion of having colluded or been part of the Jedi Rebellion. Thankfully their senator was able to escape imprisoned and trial due a lack of evidence but also on grounds of cultural heritage, which is focused around the sharing of power between a monarch and an elective body.

During the changes of the early years, the Clone army of the Republic was slowly phased out in favour of human recruits, known as the Stormtrooper Corps. This meant that untold number of Clones needed to find their own way in the galaxy, the Queen of Xaurilia offered her support to the clones. As gratitude for their service she offered them all citizenship in the Xaurilia sector as well as help in getting work and homes.

Under the Empire, things changed a great deal in the Sector, the local defence force was restricted in its powers, then later it was disbanded and replaced with Imperial forces and Star Destroyers. Later the very system of government in the Sector was practically overturn at least not properly.

The power of the Royal Council and the Monarch were greatly curtailed and limited as the Empire imposed a regional governor, who was the real authority within the Sector. Any decisions in regards of the running of the Sector went to them rather than to the monarchy, this caused a great amount of distrust among the populace.

The Spark of rebellion:

This distrust soon turned to hatred as more and more people began to shift in their allegiance, when rumours spread of rebellions happening in other parts of the galaxy. A group of individuals who used to serve in the Royal Defence Force, decided to form a new group, a new rebel force.

They called themselves the Loyalists, a force fighting for the freedom of the Xaurilia sector and the restoration of its self governance. It was led by the former commanding officer of the Royal Defence Force, giving them an experienced military leader and it had a great amount of support from the populace which meant a great deal of resources and material support. Alongside former defence force soldiers and sailors, a number of now "retired" clone troopers joined up as they had begun to see the sector as their home following the war.

The Loyalists started by gathering their forces, collecting their war materials including weapons, ships and other pieces of equipment, most of which came to them through their connections among the populace. For instance a scrapping facility on Fro'ah secretly passed onto them, this included a good amount of equipment, weapons and materials from the Clone Wars which the Empire had sent to the sector for dismantling.

But not only this, they played the long game well before properly rallying their forces and arming themselves for war. General Rahn organised a clandestine network of agents, supporters and allies to work within the halls of power, not just Xaurilia itself but also within the Empire. The idea being to have individuals in places that could benefit the Movement, for instance passing along intelligence.

The group made their presence known in a single decisive attack on a facility controlled by the Empire, where all manner of vehicles and ships were being decommissioned and turned to scrap that the resources may be used elsewhere. In this "Coming out attack", the goal was to steal various starfighters from the facility and destroy the smelters to deny the Empire usage of them.

Following this first strike, the Loyalists began to focus on guerrilla warfare, their commander knew full well that they would not stand a chance against the Empire in open warfare. So instead they focused on hit and run attacks against Imperial facilities, shipments and convoys both within the sector but also in the wider galaxy.

Due to the wide support within the Sector for the Loyalists, they had a great number of allies within the halls of power, individuals that were technically part of the empire but were secretly loyal to the Monarchy and tried to provide aid to the Loyalist rebels whenever possible.

The Rebel Alliance:

It was during this wider excursions and missions, that the Loyalists came into contact with other rebel groups, such as the Phoenix Cell, the Free Ryloth Movement and the Partisans led by Saw Gerrera. When Senator Mon Mothma spoke out against the Empire following the Ghorman massacre, then called on rebel movements across the galaxy to come together as the Alliance to Restore the Republic, the Loyalists answered the call.

The General sent elements of the Loyalists to the Rebel base on Yavin 4 to not just join forces with the Alliance but also at the request of Mon Mothma, as a number within the Loyalists were former military and therefore had proper training. So several Loyalist officers some of them being former clone troopers went to Yavin to help in the training of new recruits on the planet, turning them from ragtag militias into a dedicated military force for the Alliance.

Though they remained a mostly flued force, with the Alliance Designation, the 1st Xaurilian Battlegroup, though the Loyalists were part of the Rebel Alliance including aiding in certain missions and attacks, they remained partly separate, preferring to work alone. When the Alliance rallied for a strike against the Empire over the planet of Scarif, the Loyalists sent some forces to support the rebel fleet in the battle.

Later following the destruction of the 1st Death Star, the Alliance attempted a major push into the Mid Rim, the plan to seize direct control of planets from the Empire and start fighting in open warfare against the Imperial forces. Despite receiving orders from Alliance command, the Loyalists refused to follow them, they were ordered to attack Imperial forces on Xaurilia, Fro'ah, Ionerth and Anvara  with the intention of forcing them of the planets entirely.

However the Loyalist General made clear that even if they succeeded in taking the planets from the Empire, they would not be able to hold them when the Empire launched a counter attack. He also feared retribution against the civilian population and the endangering of their allies, who would definitely face repercussions for the Rebel victory in seizing control.

So instead the Loyalists continued their method of Guerrilla Warfare, striking at Imperial forces within the Sector both during and after the Mid Rim Retreat. Following the evacuation of Hoth, the Loyalists sent supplies to the different rebel units still recovering from the retreat and fall of the Rebel base.

When the Alliance got word of the Second Death Star, the Loyalists were asked to conduct greater strikes against the Empire in different parts of the Galaxy to try and draw Imperial forces away and stretch them thin. This they conducted with a variety of different strikes, ranging from the sabotaging of fuelling stations, attacks on convoys transporting materials and resources for the Death Star.

After the Victory at Endor which included the death of the Emperor, the Loyalists found their numbers growing as people began to rally to the Rebellion. Among them were some of their insiders who openly defected to the Rebels, providing all manner of information that would prove useful in the future.

The New Republic:

As the Rebel Alliance was reformed into the New Republic and started to shift from guerrilla warfare to open conflict, the Empire found itself reeling and uncoordinated within the Galaxy as thousands of planets started declaring themselves for the New Republic.

It was during these times that the Loyalists made their final move, with a flurry of new recruits, they launched a decisive strike against the Empire in the Xaurilian sector. Units on different planets launched consecutive strikes and attacks against Imperial forces across the Sector, with some support from the New Republic, they were able to launch a decisive strike against the Imperial forces in the sector.

In a number of engagements, the Loyalist and New Republic forces managed to first break the Empires fleet in the sector and then begin landing troops onto the planet to link up with localised Loyalist forces on the four main planets. In a matter of weeks, most of the planets were under the New Republic banner, with only the Capitol city of Asana holding out against the New Republic and Loyalist onslaught and even that was only the upper levels of the city and the Royal Palace.

Not wanting to risk a prolonged siege that would risk civilian casualties, as well as the danger of the Queen and other individuals within the Palace being held as hostages. The General of the Loyalist forces offered the Imperials terms for an honourable surrender, where if they ceased defence of the city, surrendered their weapons, he would guarantee their safety.

The terms were accepted and the remaining Imperial forces both on Xaurilia itself as well as on other worlds in the sector surrendered their arms and went into the custody and care of the New Republic.

After the victory of the New Republic over the Empire, all worlds in the overthrown Empire were offered a choice, they could become full members of the New Republic or become independent worlds once again but could request aid from the New Republic Navy if required. Several worlds accepted the terms, many did indeed join the New Republic but several others including Xaurilia decided that they would become independent worlds once more.

But Xaurilia despite being an independent sector within the Mid Rim, became an ally of the New Republic as well as a key trading partner within the region. Since becoming Independent, the Sector has slowly restored its integrity and its sovereignty, many members of the Loyalists went onto serve in the reformed Royal Defence Force and continued to protect the sector from any threats or dangers.

The Loyalists who worked within the Empires ranks were all given Royal pardons by the Queen herself however they were still required to conduct service to the community as penance for the crimes they had been apart of.

The Xaurilian Loyalists:

The Xaurilian Loyalists were formed in a military structure system by the General of the "Cell", many of them had served in the Royal Defence Force and so had experience, discipline and proper training.

The Loyalists were divided into two sections, the first was the Main Unit which consisted of the strongest forces, as well as the majority of their heavy weapons and vehicles including gunships. This unit would take on the most important or largest attacks against the Empire, they would stay in temporary bases either in the Sector or in neighbouring sectors, these bases would be used for a few months then would be abandoned.

Then there are the Localised forces, these are smaller units which operate small acts of rebellion against the Empire on their particular planet. These would usually work in small acts, sabotage, small scale raids and attacks as well as operating the gathering and collecting of intelligence which they pass onto the Main force.

As well as this they were among the most well armed Rebel Faction during the Galactic Civil War and were rather large in terms of manpower. The Sector had its own small flotilla of ships which served to transport the main Loyalist unit alongside their supplies, munitions as well as their vehicles.

Most of these ships were secretly passed on to them by their allies and supporters, notably from the scrap and recycling yards within the sector. And given the fact that the Empire was getting rid of most of the weapons, vehicles and ships from the Republic era and the Clone Wars, the Loyalists were secretly provided with all manner of vehicles from the Clone Wars era.

This included in the early years, 2 squadrons of Y-wing bombers, a squadrons worth of Z-95 starfighters, 2 squadrons of Arc-170s, 3-4 squadrons worth of Royal Escort Interceptors from the Xaurilian Royal Defence Force. These various fighters were in support of several larger vessels, which served as combat vessels as well as transports, most of them were either stolen from the Empire or provided to them by allies.

For most of the Civil War, the flotilla comprised of 5 GR-75 transports, which were used to transport the different troops as well as 3 YV-865 Aurore Class Freighters, vehicles and supplies between missions and encampments. protecting them as well as serving as combat vessels, were 6 Hammerhead Corvettes and 4 larger hammerhead Cruisers which despite their age had been upgraded and refitted to become more well armoured and more heavily armed.

And that was only in space, the Loyalists also had a considerable number of combat vehicles for ground assaults.

Again these were all mostly secretly provided to them from the scrap yards and recycling facilities, turning Clone Wars vehicles into scrap metal for processing and recycling. These were all mostly kept with the main Loyalist force that was always on the move with other less militarised vehicles being used by localised units.

Such vehicles for the Main Force, were varied, including several LAAT gunships some meant to carry soldiers whilst others were built to carry heavy loads. The latter were originally meant to transport large Republic tanks onto the battlefield, but the Loyalists used them when stealing resources, supplies and munitions from Imperial bases or outposts. They had several AT-RTs which were used in support of attacks and raids, their mobility helping in support of ground troops.

BARC speeders were used for scouting and recon, either in preparation of a planned strike, or as scouting around bases and camps to ensure that early warnings could be given in the event of the Empire retaliating. Ensuring bases and outposts would receive sufficient warning of the enemy and give them the time to evacuate safely.

General Rahn:

Formerly a the officer in command of the Xaurilian Royal Defence Force, Rahn was born on Xaurilia but spent much of his early life moving between different planets within the Sector. His parents served the Royal family and auditors and examiners of trade and commerce, so they had to move constantly from planet to planet, examining ledgers and records, ensuring that nothing illicit was occurring and that the rules of the Monarchy were being upheld.

Rahn didn't want this life however, so at the first opportunity when he was of age, he signed up with the Royal Defence Force and rapidly rose through the ranks, from a marine to an officer and eventually all the way to the Commander of the entire Defence Force.

When the Clone Wars erupted across the Galaxy, he petitioned the Queen and the Royal Council to expand the Defence Force, both its ground forces but also its fleet. Given the rapid advances of the Separatists in the first few weeks of the war, this request was approved and it was needed. Throughout the conflict, Rahn led his Defence forces in space against pro-separatist forces in a number of incursions.

His victories gained him the support of the Defence Force and the respect of the Royal Council and the Queen herself who commended his service in protecting their people. When the Empire was founded, Rahn was uncertain of its intentions, he had known a number of Jedi and he didn't believe that the Jedi Order had intended on seizing power for themselves, but he knew to keep his mouth closed for the moment.

He was forced to watch as the Royal Defence Force he had commanded proudly was slowly weakened under Imperial orders and then finally utterly overturned in favour of Imperial star destroyers and Stormtroopers. Rahn could do nothing, he could only accept it on the surface, but all the while he made preparations, he rallied other like minded officers like himself as well as Clones that had fought for the Republic and had been "Retired".

Rahn used his experience in the Clone Wars to make the Loyalists into an effective Rebel movement, recognising the risks and consequences of certain missions. He stayed with the Main Loyalist Force, constantly shifting the bases location on a regular basis, staying one step ahead of the Empire. Rahn treated the Loyalists as a proper military force, ensuring proper discipline, rules and protocols and careful regulations, all meant to ensure that the Loyalists could maintain themselves and not lose focus.

Through the Galactic Civil War, Rahn stood true to his goal of restoring the true governance of Xaurilia, the fact that he had spent most of his childhood seeing the different parts of the Sector gave him a unique understanding of those under his command and the fact that he had risen through the ranks allowed him to empathise with those he was leading into battle.

For Rahn was not the kind of General who sat in a safe base of operations far from the action, giving the orders to those far away. He was the type of officer who led his soldiers personally, he directed missions either from the C.I.C of his flagship the Ark Royale, one of the Hammerhead Cruisers. Or he would be at a central position commanding troops personally and when required he was not afraid of picking up a weapon and fighting personally.

Nihlus:

Born on Xaurilia itself, Nihlus grew up in the capitol of Asana, where he enjoyed a good education thanks to his families "noble" status. He enjoyed the finest life in the upper districts of the city, when he was old enough he joined the Civil Guard, the Monarchies law enforcement and security force.

Eventually he was promoted to a place of honour, Nihlus was permitted to join prestigious Royal Guard, the elite force of warriors that serve to protect the Monarch, their heirs and the Royal Palace. He was given extensive training and the best equipment and armour available, to be an Royal Guard was to be the best.

Nihlus conducted himself with grace and honour in his duties among the Guard, through the Clone Wars he volunteered to undertake considerable more training in the event of an attack upon the city in which the Royal Guard would need to be at the ready to uphold its duty. Thankfully this never came, though Nihlus by this point was one of the 3 captains of the Guard, in his case he was the Guard Captain of the Palace, his duty to ensure the security of the Royal Palace.

Sadly with the ascension of the Empire, Nihlus soon found his duties being curtailed and overturned by Imperial officers, eventually he was required to put forward recommendations in regards of Security in the Palace to an officer of the Imperial Security Bureau. Then a great disgrace to him and his fellow guards, they were all demanded by the ISB to swear their allegiance to the Empire and the Emperor alone, meaning their oath to the Monarch of Xaurilia was meaningless.

Nihlus and several others refused citing their loyalty was to the Queen, but this new oath of allegiance was required for members of the Guard to serve from now on. So Nihlus and the others that refused were all forced out of the Royal Guard they had served honourably in, in his case, Nihlus was found by General Rahn who invited him to join his growing underground movement that was soon to become a full fledged rebel movement.

As a member of the Loyalists, Nihlus brought with him two things that they needed, the first was connections within the "Nobility" of the Upper Districts, individuals who would go onto to assist the Loyalists by secreting supplies and funds as well as information. Second was connections in the Royal Palace, because Nihlus had asked for individuals to accept the oath so that at least some who were truly loyal to the Queen were there to protect her if something happened, these same individuals would pass along information from within the halls of power.

Kar-un: Ierel

Formerly a member of the Jedi Order, Kar-Un comes from a very rare species in the galaxy, known as the Ierel (I-ar-ell), they are rare in the fact that they very rarely leave their home world of Iseya and due to a distinct lack of anything of worth on the planet, none ever go there, so much so that it is barely even recorded on star charts.

Two things of note that must be made clear in regards of the Ierel however are first their long life spans, according to the Jedi Archives, the Ierel could live to nearly 300 years. Second is their strong affinity to the Force, yet very few ever became Jedi, Kar-Un is the exception, but not in the way as to how some would regard as a normal Jedi.

Kar-Un was one of the most unusual Jedi Knights, in that he often questioned the decisions of the high council, in fact he was often in debates with Master Yoda over the teaching of the younglings and padawans. Kar-Un was of the opinion that the force cannot be taught in classrooms or through strict mentorship, but it must be understood through experiences and by possessing an open mind.

In fact he often spent most of his time in deep meditations, using what he said was a method of his people, where during the meditation process, he would interlock his fingers to create different hand gestures. He claimed this method was something his people called the Path of the Force, that it focused the mind and allowed a greater calmness, allowing him to understand the force and its will with no distraction.

He also questioned the close connection between the Order and the Senate, he felt that the Jedi Order was forgetting its duty and its role in the Republic. So much so that when the Clone Wars erupted, Kar-Un refused to follow his fellow Jedi into battle, in his mind it was not the purpose of the Jedi to lead armies and command warfare. When questioned by the high council as to why he was refusing, he gave the words of Master Mace Windu "We are keepers of the Peace not soliders".

He argued that in the past, he could understand the Jedi helping the Republic in war, but that was against the Sith, but now the Jedi were joining the Republic in a conflict against people with a justifiable cause.

So Kar-Un left the order and went into seclusion on an uninhabited world within the Xaurilian sector, there he found an element of peace, tending a small garden which provided him food and countless hours of meditation. After the Jedi Purge however, Kar-Un was fortunate as his leaving the order was what saved him from Order 66. He learned of the fate of his fellow Jedi through a Holocron he kept with him to record what he had learned from his meditations.

He was forced into hiding, which was helped by individuals he had come to know within the Sector, who risked their lives to keep him safe and hidden. Among them was General Rahn who aided him in staying hidden, though when the General ignited a rebellion in the sector, Kar-Un offered to an extent his services, at least his foresight and his connection to the force.

Something that Kar-Un had learned from his meditations was the gift of loyalties, through the force, he could see a persons loyalties. This meant that it was impossible for the Empire to embed a spy within their ranks or get someone to turn traitor. But Kar-Un was very clear in his place, whilst he would help to protect people, he had no intention of ever taking up his lightsabre and fighting the war properly.

Dack:

A young officer in the Loyalists, Lieutenant Dack was a member of the Royal Defence Force in Xaurilia during the clone wars, serving under General Rahn as a "marine" aboard the Ark Royale.

Following the rise of the Empire, Dack was forced out of the Defence Force by the Imperial Stormtroopers when the Defence Force was "Folded" into the Imperial military. When what really happened the force was replaced by an imperial garrison and anyone who didn't swear their fealty to the Empire or were judged "unfit for service" were given "Honourable Discharges".

Dack found work on Anvara for a time, but as the Empire grew more oppressive on the populace, forcing people to work strict quotas and with the threat of harsh punishments. Dack couldn't take it anymore, he rallied a group of fellow former Royal Defence Force soldiers alongside some locals and formed a small rebel guerrilla band, striking at the Empire from the mountains and forests but also in the towns and cities.

Their target was to disrupt imperial supply shipments, so rather than just probing the defences of the large and more heavily protected refineries, they targeted the extraction sites which were less protected as well as the convoys transporting the raw materials.

When he was approached by General Rahn to join his Loyalist Movement, Dack and his unit readily agreed, enabling to cause more damage for the Empire. Though under orders, Dack remembered to constantly shift his area of focus, so rather than just clinging to a single region, he had his unit constantly move around the planet.

Camo: ARC-3163

A veteran of the Clone Wars, ARC-3163 or just Camo was a member of the Clone Army and a member of the elite Advanced Recon Commandos. His particular unit were scout specialists, trained in all manner of camouflage, infiltration, exfiltration and all under the strictest discipline.

This unique ARC squadron spent much of its time behind enemy lines on Separatist aligned or occupied planets, gathering information and performing close recon on enemy strongholds and positions, maintain overwatch of the enemy and maintaining strict logs of every detail they observe. Camo would spend days if not weeks with his small team behind enemy lines where the smallest mistake could give away their location.

They were not offensive soldiers, that was not their role, they were to fight only when they needed too meaning they had been "Compromised" and needed to fight their way to safety for extraction. The discipline that Camo was put through as part of the unit was extreme, they had to rely on the simplest rations for days, had to ensure that they left no evidence of their presence and could have to spend days if not weeks in the worst conditions, all the while maintaining constant alert for the enemy.

When the War ended and the Empire was formed, Camo soon found himself unemployed, as the Clone Army was retired, replaced with the Stormtroopers. Thankfully for Camo and other Clones he was taken in by the Xaurilian people who gave him employment as well as a place to live comfortably as thanks for his service.

For a few years, Camo served as an instructor at the Royal Academy where he helped to train new recruits for the Sectors law enforcement as well as the Defence Force. But this did not last long, when the Empire absorbed the Royal Defence Force and the Civil Guard, like with some clones, Camo was offered a place doing the same but only at an Imperial Academy. But Camo wasn't really interested and instead simply walked away, ending up taking on simple jobs at the main Dockyards of Fro'ah.

He joined the Loyalist movement during its infancy, he actively aided in the recruiting of disgruntled clones who didn't like the Empire and wanted to see it brought down. As a member of the Movement, Camo had two jobs, on the one hand he was a instructor again, training the raw recruits that joined but had no real experience or training as soldiers.

But he also served as a tactical officer during certain attacks against the Empire, leading his own platoon, consisting of two squads of infantry against the Empire. One of their biggest roles is something that Camo was an expert of in the Clone Wars, advanced recon and scouting, his platoon, is literally called that "1st Advanced Recon", spending hours if not days in a hidden position carefully and methodically detailing every piece of information on a target.

Specifically the positions of heavy weapons, location of look outs, patrol routes, how often fighter patrols go over head, what is the discipline of the Stormtroopers guarding it like, are they more disciplined at certain times and countless other details that Camo likes to gain to get every advantage.

Snake: CP-9019

Another Veteran of the Clone Wars, CP-9019 was a pilot of the infamous Republic L.A.A.T Gunship a planetary vessel that was used by the Clone Armies as both an aerial troop transport but also as a form of air support, with its powerful laser cannons and rocket launchers making it capable of supporting ground forces.

Snake as he became known was known among his brothers served during the opening battles of the Clone Wars but was later selected to support the advanced units of the Republics special forces. He became well known among the LAAT pilots for how easy it was for him to fly low and fast at the enemy, which is where he got his name, as he could fly lower than the slithering snakes along the ground.

After the Clone Wars he found his skills no longer needed, so much so that he was among the first wave of Clones to be "Retired" though he was offered a place at the Imperial Academy, training the next generation of gunship pilots, but he refused. He found his way to the Xaurilian sector where he found work as a transport pilot, ferrying materials, goods and passengers across a planets surface.

When the Loyalist movement began, he was a eager volunteer, offering his services not just as an active pilot but also as a tutor, as there were not many people who knew how to fly the LAATs by this point. But Snake prefers to be in the pilots seat himself rather than just watching, he took part in several attacks across the sector, flying low and fast in support of Rebel ground forces, either by sending rockets against hardened targets or dropping explosives as he zipped by at high speed.

Starfall: CP-8617

Another veteran of the Clone Wars, CP-8617 was born, bred and trained for a singular purpose to fly space craft, from the moment of his "Birth" he was rigorously put through a series of training programs alongside his fellow brothers to make him a more than capable pilot. Like other pilots to be, he was put into simulators with all kinds of scenarios played to test his skills and abilities, all so that the Kaminoans could identify where his skills would be best suited.

He had already been created for the singular role of a pilot but the question raises what type of pilot, was he to serve as the pilot or gunner of a Y-Wing bomber or would he better in a fighter craft. In his case it was the later, he became a pilot of a V-19 Torrent and then later as a fighter ace in a Z-95 Headhunter. In fact Starfall was a member of the Starfighter elite squadron known as the Wolf Pack under Jedi General Plo Koon, after the war ended however he found himself being squeezed out by the Empire.

Thankfully his skill as a fighter pilot was recognised as the Clone Army was retired, he was taken in by the Xaurilian Royal Defence Force where he would help to train their own fighter pilots in tactical manoeuvres and combat exercises. Again the Empire took this away when it "Absorbed" all Local Defence Forces into its forces, again Starfall refused to serve under them and so was kicked out.

But thankfully he was found by the forming rebellion, he was a firm recruit to the cause, he fighter ace status making him a key member, not just as a trainer of fighter pilots but also as their leader. Starfall mostly stuck with the main Loyalist force, commanding their fighter Squadrons under the callsign "Pack Leader", his primary mission was to protect the flotilla of Rebel ships from any Imperial forces, but also provide air support for attacks against Imperial controlled sites.

Such as clearing the way for Y-Wings to perform a bombing run, or to allow for LAATs to start landing troops for a ground assault.

Geck: Ugnaught

A very hard working individual, Geck is the stereotypical Ugnaught, he takes pride in his work as an engineer and takes insult at any statement that something is wrong with it. Geck has lived and worked as an engineer for nearly his entire life, he arrived in the Xaurilian sector as part of that employment when he was offered a job within the industrial sites of Fro'ah and at times Anvara.

Most of his work was on various pieces of machinery that worked the different factories, smelters, etc. But he also worked as a engineer in the starports when he wasn't busy, helping to keep starships worthwhile and workable. It was through this work that he came to become a member of the Loyalists, after the Empire rose to power, he found himself busier than ever, as the Empire wanted things to work better and faster for "The Betterment of the Galaxy".

But when Geck was accused of failing in his work, he found himself insulted as all Ugnaughts would have, an Imperial officer claimed that something that Geck had "Claimed to have fixed" was not working as desired. He argued that he fixed the issue to the standards of the machines design and specification, meaning he made it work as it was designed to. But the Imperial had pushed it beyond its limit and caused damage to the facility around it.

Despite the fact that the Facilities administrator knew Geck was right, they couldn't do anything and Geck was fired. He soon found himself without work as the Empire had made it impossible for him to get work anywhere, he had been barred from all facilities, meaning no where was allowed to take him on.

He was found by the Loyalists movement who offered him a place among them as an Engineer, wanting to get back at the people who had lied about him and spread falsehoods about his work, Geck agreed. He spent most of his time with the Loyalist main force, working to maintain the starships, fighting, bombers as well as various other vehicles and pieces of machinery.

Kolor Anrok: Pantoran

Coming from Pantora where the system of government on the planet is careful with checks and balances where the Chairman of Pantora can be deemed out of order by the Assembly.

Anrok to his friends had been part of the Pantoran security force, protecting the planet during the Clone Wars mostly as a keeper of the peace among the people. But just after the rise of the Empire, he was transferred to become among the personal security to Senator Riyo Chuchi, the systems representative in the Senate.

There he observed the removal of the clone army and the rise of the Stormtroopers, he supported Senator Chuchis efforts to help the clones, whilst she worked through official channels, Anrok became a member of a secretive underground. This organisation was focused on helping Clones get away from the Empire, as well as through legal means under false identities, help Clones find employment.

During this period, he managed to establish a clandestine network of agents across most of the inner and mid rims, most of these agents are either former clone troopers or were supporters of the Underground. Eventually Anrok made his way to Xaurilia so he could dedicate himself to the Underground completely, here he was introduced by Clones he had helped to the Loyalist Movement.

He joined the group and became an Intelligence and Supply Officer for the movement, since the various contacts and agents he had contact with, could provide all kinds of aid to the rebellion. This could range from simple things like funnelling funds and supplies, to smuggling the rebels weapons and munitions and even replacement star fighters.

Or Ludimi: Bothan

Across most of the Galaxy, the Bothans are infamous for their Spy Network which if rumours are to be believed "Supposedly" spans most of the Galaxy. Or Ludimi was apparently a part of this network throughout much of the Clone Wars, he worked to gather information on behalf of his people who would then make the decision on what to do with it.

However as the Empire rose to power, the Bothans became more careful and cautious, Ludimi was sent to the Xaurilian sector to gather information on the Scrap and Salvage facilities the Empire was sending all manner of materials. It was here that Ludimi learned that the Empire was scrapping all kinds of ships and vehicles from the Clone Wars, not just those of the Separatists but the Republic as well.

Further Investigation found that the materials were being sent to Imperial production lines, to be used in building newer ships, like the Tie Fighters and the Star Destroyers.  It was not long after this he encountered the Loyalist Movement and joined their ranks, becoming a key intelligence officer for the Loyalists, due to his connection to the Bothan Spy Network as well as his experience in hacking and gaining access to Imperial systems, he was a key figure for the movement.

Whilst he is technically an Intelligence Officer, serving aboard the Flagship of the main force, he is not afraid to put on some armour, an improvised helmet, take up a blaster and support the troops in battle when the need arises that every able bodied fighter is required.

Rysa: Theelin

A native born Theelin on Xaurilia, Rysa was born within the lower levels of one of the planets great cities, however her family lived within the Mid Ring among the upper classes. Her family served as in house servants, where they lived and worked for a rich noble family, her father as a butler and her mother and a maid.

However when she went off on her own path, things changed for her, she ended up having to work at a place that some would find demeaning. In a prestigious and well known Nightclub, at first just serving drinks and cleaning tables, but later she started to work as a singer and dancer much to delight of the patrons.

At first she hated it all, seeing it all as just a job, something that earns her the credits to live comfortably despite everything. This however changed with the beginnings of the Clone Wars where the Club became a favourite for soldiers and sailors on shore leave on Xaurilia, no longer finding it frustrating, Rysa realised that even with all her hate for the job it brought joy to others who needed it more than her.

Later when the Empire rose to power, the fame of the Nightclub stayed on as the Imperial officials, officers and soldiers started visiting during their off hours. As the Empire grew more tyrannical, she was approached by the Loyalists and she was willing to help the cause, from her place in the Nightclub which was visited often by various officials of the Empire. Rysa could learn all manner of information and intelligence from those who were indulging in their drinks or retrieve information from insiders without raising suspicion.

After all where is the suspicion of an Imperial Officer or local official going to a well known and well frequented nightclub during his off hours for a drink and a bit of fun.

Suhn: Twi'Lek

A small time smuggler and criminal within the Mid Rim, Suhn was someone that mostly ran the same routes through her career. With her small ship she mostly transported small time deals, ore from facilities, contraband around the backs of the Galactic Republic taxes or the trade federation monopoly.

Eventually she was of course caught and arrested, as she had not been smuggling any items or substances of a more illicit nature such as spice. Her sentence was commuted from prolonged jail time, instead she was sentenced to only a short stint in prison. By the time she got out, the Clone Wars had begun and she found the smuggling business very lucrative, again she stuck to smuggling simple contraband, like smuggling food and supplies to neutral planets that were struggling due to closed off hyper space lands.

This changed when Ryloth was invaded and occupied by the Confederacy, this was the first time that Suhn part-took in the smuggling of weapons. She brought at least one small shipment of weapons and explosives to the Resistance Fighters under Cham Syndulla. When the war ended with the rise of the Empire, she went back to normal smuggling, mostly bringing goods for a profit to places that were still rebuilding.

At first the Empire was a good thing for her, as the smuggling business boomed as the Imperial cracked down, but eventually even she couldn't avoid the changing galaxy. She was approached by the Loyalists during their formation and was offered a place among them, Suhn accepted and began working for the Rebels, mostly smuggling supplies and munitions and not just to the different units across the Sector but also smuggling in said supplies and resources from allies in other parts of the galaxy.

Suhn is one of the few who knows the different smuggling routes across the sector, routes that few are aware of and more than that she has some routes that are her own. Meaning she found them and is the only one to have ever used them, this means that the Loyalist fleet is able to manoeuvre almost freely not just in the Sector but also into parts of the Outer Rim, enabling them to avoid detection by the Imperial Fleets.

Zik: Weequay

A trouble maker for most of his life, Zik has been an expert in explosives and detonators since he was very young, mostly by getting into trouble when he would improvise small bangs for a bit of fun with his friends.

When he was of age, however this all changed and he was threatened with prolonged jail time due to his "fun and games". But due to his experience and knowledge with explosives, he was offered an "Olive Branch", rather than spending time behind bars. Zik would work in the mining efforts on Anvara, using his explosive knowledge to help the efforts in extracting resources from the planet.

Here Zik lived life to the fullest, his work became well known among the mine workers, if anyone ever needed a well placed and precise boom, Zik was who they would request. For a good few years Zik had a good life, he earned a steady income from his work, he stayed out of trouble to an extent.

This all changed when the Empire rose to power, when the Imperials started to impose more and more authority and control on the Galaxy, a lot of their officers and officials began to show their "content" for non humans. Despite his work experience and the several recommendations from mining officials, Zik was slowly pushed out by the Imperial overseers, he went from an expert in explosives into just a simple worker.

Eventually he was even pushed out completely due to his supposed criminal involvement, without any work or prospects, Zik decided to get his own back. One night he snuck into a mining facility and planted various improvised explosives on different machines, this became a regular occurrence, until he was found by the Loyalists.

He joined the movement as an explosive expert, when the Rebels needed a special boom for their target, he was the one who knew best how to do it. Whilst he mostly stuck with the main force in the constantly mobile fleet, Zik would more often spend time with the individual units across the Xaurilian sector, helping them in manufacturing their explosives and detailing how best to use them.

Alliance to Restore the Republic:

The Alliance to Restore the Republic or just the Rebel Alliance was in its infancy more of a cooperation of different rebel bands, cells, factions and movements across the galaxy. This was mostly through intermediates, small dedicated groups that would pass along supplies, funds and other materials such as the Network built by Senator Bail Organa or the secret network of Senator Mon Mothma and Luthen Rail.

Eventually the Alliance was formally established by Senator Mon Mothma following her declaration of Rebellion, calling on Rebel movements and cells to join her in overthrowing the Empire and restoring the Republic. But it wasn't until the Battle of Yavin that the Alliance was well and truly unified into a single force.

The Alliance was established with two distinct military branches, Alliance Forces and Sector Forces. The Sector forces were semi-autonomous military units that were responsible for maintaining the rebellion on local levels. They were basically larger and more organised rebel cells that worked with the alliance to resisted the Empire within their own home sector.

Alliance forces by comparison were under the direct command of Alliance High Command, these included Alliance Army, Fleet and Starfighter corps. Both branches however mostly stuck to guerrilla tactics, small scale raids, hit and run attacks, sabotage and rapid assaults against Imperial targets as neither had the strength to fight the Empire on a conventional level.

Commander Nikaj Valdur:

An Imperial Defector, Commander Valdur served as young officer for the Galactic Republic during the Clone Wars, then again as an Imperial officer. He originally believed in the Empire, seeing it as a stabilising power that the Galaxy needed following a galactic spanning war as well as all manner of political division.

But as the Empire grew more authoritarian and began stamping down on innocent people, he grew more and more disillusioned, this came to a head when he was posted to the Wookiee Home world of Kashyyyk, there he witnessed the brutality of the Empire, forcing Wookiees into slavery, burning their villages and cities and the complete systematic destruction of the planet for its resources. This he couldn't stand for he knew that the Wookiees had been loyal to the Republic and didn't deserve the treatment they were facing.

In secret he started to pass along information to the Wookiee Resistance hidden within the Shadow Lands of the planet. He was then transferred to another posting where he openly defected to the Rebellion, Commander Valdur joined the Massassi Group under General Dodonna, there he served as an operations officer, helping the cell to identify and co-ordinate strikes against the Empire.

Following the formal creation of the Alliance, Commander Valdur was a co-ordinator and Alliance Liaison to local sector forces, specifically within certain regions of the Mid-Rim territories. He chose the Xaurilian Sector as his headquarters due to the organised nature and discipline of the Loyalist Movement. Here he worked with the Loyalist General to better organise other sector forces within the Mid Rim.

His duty was to work with the local sector forces to continue fighting the Empire, helping to organise them and co-ordinate with Alliance high command, such as for instance arranging for resupply from Alliance logistics.

Commander Reedus:

Ordinarily the Alliance Forces would dispatch an experienced officer to work with localised Sector Forces specifically to aid in the training of the cells within a sector to make them more efficient in combating the Empire.

However there are occasions when this role is overtaken by an Intelligence Officer of the Alliance, such as with the case of the Loyalist Movement of the Xaurilian Sector. As this particular Sector Force was organised and led by experienced local defence force officers and had a dedicated effort to properly train recruits into disciplined soldiers. Meaning there was little requirement for the Alliance to send someone to perform that role, instead due to the Loyalists have a dedicated intelligence network of their own.

The Alliance dispatched Commander Reedus to the Sector to work with the Loyalists in the gathering, analysing and usage of intelligence from varied sources. Commander Reedus had served as an intelligence officer in a rebel cell within the outer rim and later joined Alliance Intelligence, his role was to work with Rebel agents and spies and organise the information as it comes in and identify what was priority.

When working with the Loyalist Movement in the Xaurilian Sector, Commander Reedus noted in his report that the Loyalists possessed a "Well refined and methodical Intelligence Network". He worked with the Loyalist Intelligence Network, helping to organise the information coming in, connect the dots and when required request assistance from Alliance Intelligence or pass certain pieces of information back to Alliance Command.

Allies of the Loyalists:

One of the greatest strengths of the Loyalist Movement was the simple truth that it possessed a considerable number of individuals who supported their efforts against the Empire.

Some of these individuals were Imperials who had grown disillusioned, some were officials who desired to see the Xaurilia Sector free again, whilst some were plants by the Loyalists themselves, individuals who had volunteered to join Imperial Ranks to serve from the inside.

Queen Reina:

Chief among their closest and most important allies is the Queen of Xaurilia herself.

Queen Reina came to throne before the outbreak of the clone wars being among the youngest to ascend to the throne in the sectors history. However she took the role with much gusto, she brought about a series of reforms throughout the sector that made life better for all her people.

During the Clone Wars she recognised the dangers the Sector was in being so close to the frontlines and granted her authority to the implementation  for reinforcing the Royal Defence Forces. Queen Reina is very much a person who prefers to appoint and raise people into positions of authority and power based on Merit and proven ability, rather her ancestors who did so based on lineage and bloodlines.

After the wars ended and the Empire rose to power, she grew concerned, more so as the Empire imposed more control and authority across the galaxy. She recognised the fact that the Imperial Senate was becoming more and more of a symbolic service rather than any kind of legislative authority, in response she secretly gave her moral support to the now discharged General Rahn.

Through some connections she provided assistance to the Loyalists movement, by providing them the funds and supplies they needed to get their rebellion moving. Officially speaking Queen Reina had to denounce the actions of the rebels and even declared General Rahn as traitor to the Xaurilian Throne, but in truth she used her position and connections to provide information to the rebels whenever she could.

Plus the secret truth that the Loyalists had her moral support meant she was gifting them an element of legitimacy in their cause. Even when the Imperial imposed regional governors and dissolved the Imperial Senate permanently, she was still kept on as Queen of Xaurilia however she no longer had any real power, Queen Reina continued providing help to the rebellion.

All in the service of her people.

Governor Caine:

One of the Loyalist plants, Governor Caine had officially speaking served as an civil official for the Xaurilian Sector for years, pledging his loyalty to the Empire upon its establishment. He then rose through the positions and ranks until he was chosen to become the regional governor of the Sector, this meant that when the Empire started imposing more and more control, he still had some authority.

Then later when the Imperial Senate was dissolved permanently by the Emperor, he basically took on the role of the highest civilian authority within the Xaurilian sector, second only to the Moff of the region and the Grand Moff of the Mid Rim. When in truth his real loyalties was the Monarchy and the people of the Xaurilian Sector, as the Empire rose to power, he was requested by certain individuals to embed himself within the Imperial Ranks.

The Simple fact that he was a native as well as his apparent loyalty to the Empire, meant that when the opportunity arose, the Imperial hierarchy chose him to serve as the Imperial Governor on Xaurilia. Whilst he had to maintain the persona of an Imperial official, ensuring that deadlines were met, work quotas were fulfilled and Imperial authority was securely maintained.

His access to Imperial systems grants a level of intelligence very rarely available to other sources, especially during the early years of the rebellion, in effect everything the Empire has an interest in within the Sector, Governor Caine can find out.

Captain Irons:

Another of the Loyalist Defectors, Captain Jerome Irons was formerly a captain in the Xaurilian Royal Defence Force, serving under General Rahn during the Clone Wars. Later as the Empire "Absorbed" local defence forces, Irons volunteered to remain serving as an officer within the Imperial Military.

As far as the Empire was concerned he was a loyal citizen and upstanding officer in their navy, which he was, but after a period of time he discovered acts being committed by the Empire in the name of peace and stability. He questioned his place in the Empire, during a particular night of enjoying some off duty time at a club, he was approached by a Loyalist agent, offering him a chance to help the Rebellion and free the Sector from the Empires control, he agreed and began immediately working as spy and informant within the Imperial bureaucracy within the sector.

Specifically as a Logistics officer, he passed on intelligence on what the Empire was moving through the Sector, when and where these shipments would be moving etc.

Whilst he had to cautious with what he sent to them, to avoid arousing suspicion, Irons always managed to stay under the radar of the Imperial Security Bureau. He did this by using the simple but understandable excuse of him performing his duties, as he only accessed information related to his duties in logistics, it was never suspicious for him to look into those data files.

Dalso Jynn:

Born to a relatively poor family on Xaurilia, Dalso Jynn was given the limited opportunity of becoming a member of the Royal Guard after serving as a member of the Civil Guard. He has a history of misjudgement when it comes to the nobility in their culture, for years he had experienced an element of autocracy within the Civil Guard, where individuals got their positions based on familial connections.

However when Queen Reina ascended to the throne, things changed and promotion and appointment based on proven ability and merit replaced the old ways of thinking. This was his chance, he was given the opportunity to become a member of the Royal Guard and he accepted it readily.

Around the time that the Empire rose to power and started to impose more and more control and authority over its territories, changes came to every part of the Galaxy. The Xaurilian Royal Guard was methodically and systematically examined, every member was required to pledge their loyalty to the Empire and the Emperor, those that refused were given "Honourable Discharges" only those that swore their oath were allowed to remain.

Dalso was at first uncertain, he watched as the hypocrites and members of the noble lines swearing the oath to the Empire, whilst those who had come to the Guard based on their merit were kicked out. He was more grateful to the Queen for giving him the opportunity someone like him wouldn't have gained before her ascendancy, than to an Empire that seemed to favour loyalty and seemed to promote individuals who desired glory or greater power.

But he recognised the need for loyalty, he took the oath to the Empire, seeing it as a means of continuing to protect the Queen and convinced others to the do the same, at least that way there would be people who were truly loyal to the monarch and would definitively protect the throne.

As the Empire grew more tyrannical, he knew he couldn't remain neutral, he alongside others were approached by Queen Reina herself who asked them to aid in the Rebellion against the Empire. They all agreed and began working to help the Loyalists by serving as inside agents within the Royal Palace, Dalso like the others would pay attention to everything and would use their time off duty to visit a club that supported the Rebels.

There they would secretly pass on information under the guise of having a good time and enjoying a few drinks.
