This fan fiction is set in the days of the Rebellion, so just before and partially during the Star Wars Rebels cartoon, in which Thrawn makes his first canon appearance. It shall not go beyond the point in which he appears, so then it doesn't get mixed up with Star Wars Canon.

Star Wars the Hidden Hand

It is a time of upheaval in the Galaxy, for centuries the mysterious Chiss Ascendancy has remained hidden in the Unknown regions, never showing its true face to the wider powers.

Through its history it has judged the powers of the Galaxy to be worthy allies or Opponents to be weakened.

Now an officer of the Chiss Expansionary Defence Fleet Mitth'raw'nuruodo "Thrawn", has been dispatched to study and evaluate the Galactic Empire under Emperor Palpatine.

Thrawn a military genius has been given the right to infiltrate the ranks of the Imperial Military to judge its worth as well as identify those who can be of use to the Chiss.

To aid in his efforts, the Chiss Ascendancy has allowed him access to the Hidden Hand, a shadowy organisation that answers solely to the Highest authority of the Chiss government.

Its mission to spy on the wider galaxy, gather information for the Ascendancy and when required sow seeds of discord.

____________________________________________________________________________________

The Hidden Hand

The Hidden Hand serves as a vast network of spies and agents across the Galaxy working in secret to gather information on every level of Galactic Society from the highest offices of power to the lowest and seediest underworlds.

It has in its possession a collection of small hidden outposts in every corner of the Galaxy from which information and intelligence is sent to and from the Ascendancy. Although the Hidden Hand is an arm of the Ascendancy a considerable number of its agents across the galaxy aren't actually Chiss, they are from one of the countless of species from the untold number of planets in the galaxy.

All these individuals have pledged themselves to the Ascendancy and have proven their loyalty over the years, they do so for a variety of reasons, but all with the promise that if ever needed they shall be given a new life within the Ascendancy itself within the Unknown regions, this is something that the Ascendancy and the Hidden Hand never negate or forget. A good number of these agents have been working for the Ascendancy for many years some nearly their entire lives, passing along information and intelligence on the galaxy before, during and after the Clone Wars.

The Hidden Hand serve the Ascendancy and report to the highest offices of the Expansionary Defence Fleet as well as the heads of the ruling families, they are not required to answer to anyone in the Chiss military who is not of the rank of Admiral or higher, nor do they have to answer to anyone politically who is not of sufficient rank. They Serve the Chiss Ascendancy as a whole and answer only to the highest offices, for it is from these positions that the Hidden Hand get their priorities.

This doesn't mean that the rest of Chiss society isn't aware of its existence, as it is somewhat common knowledge, what is secret however is just how far the eyes and ears of the Hidden hand extend throughout the Galaxy. To most particularly those civilisations within the Unknown regions, believe that the Hidden Hand only really exists within the Unknown regions spying on the close neighbours of the Chiss Ascendancy.

Such as when an officer of the Expansionary Defence Fleet, Senior Officer Mitth'raw'nuruodo was given orders by the Ascendancy to infiltrate and study the new Galactic Empire, Senior Officer Thrawn had already conducted a similar mission to judge whether or not the previous Galactic Republic was better as an ally or not.

Although not of sufficient rank to be permitted proper access to the Hidden Hand and its vast network of intelligence, it was deemed that due to the threats in the Unknown regions, Senior Officer Thrawn required their support to complete his mission. So orders were sent that Agents of the Hidden Hand were to support Senior Officer Thrawn in gathering information on the Empire as well as Identify and assist in the transportation of individuals he deemed useful to the Ascendancy.

And if he deemed that the Empire was a threat to the Chiss Ascendancy then the different agents of the Hidden Hand were to conduct clandestine actions to ensure that the Empire becomes weakened to the point that it could be at least no longer a threat to the Chiss Ascendancy or at best be overthrown with a more viable ally.

Speaker Erders'hat'iakuo:

Species: Chiss

Core Name: Shati

The highest ranking official of the Hidden Hand, Speaker Eders'hat'iakou or by her core name Shati, serves as the overall head of the Hidden Hand. Her role is to act as the mediator between the Hidden Hands agents, missions and operations and the highest officers of the Expansionary Defence fleet and the heads of the ruling families.

She herself very rarely leaves the Chiss home world of Csilla in the Unknown regions with her office being within the Hidden Hand Headquarters which is itself within the Grand Council building of Csillas capitol. There she maintains close observation of all the acts being committed and undertaken by the different agents and hidden bases that the Hidden Hand has in its purview, though many do not trust her properly particularly those who are new to their stations, but such distrust is swiftly overthrown when they learn just how far his knowledge goes.

Speaker Shati has made clear numerous times, that "The Hidden Hand doesn't just have agents outside the Ascendancy, but within as well", this often comes with small hints to what those self obsessed and self invigorated yet honourable members get up to in their spare time.

Though Speaker Shati is very much a political figure, none dare to challenge to ensure that the Hidden Hand upholds its mission to protect the Ascendancy. Should anything threaten that, according to some "Pray that she is merciful".

Commodore Hel'eta'musan:

Species: Chiss

Core Name: Letam

Commodore Letam is the practical head of the Hidden Hand, just as Speaker Shati is its political and legitimate head, however unlike Speaker Letam, Commodore Letam is the one is charge of maintaining the network of agents and hidden bases the Hidden Hand have across the Galaxy.

Operating from the Hidden Hands main base in Ascendancy space, he maintains the flow of information, overseeing various handlers and analysts who examine the information that comes from the different corners of the galaxy, identifying what is most important for the Ascendancy to respond too.

As well as this he is required to maintain and uphold the secret bases that the Ascendancy has placed in different corners of the galaxy, ensuring that they remain operational or deciding which are worth keeping and which are to be removed. If the need requires Commodore Letam will co-ordinate with a the Ascendancy's chosen Admiral, this is usually when a the Hidden Hand have identified an individual that is of worth to the Ascendancy and requires escort back to Chiss space.

He was also the one that chose which agents would undertaken particular missions, for instance should Speaker Shati and the Chiss Hierarchy deem a piece of information of critical importance, then he is the person who shall decide which agent or agents are best suited for the task.

Although he is understanding of the Ascendancy's Hierarchies interest in the Hidden Hand, Commodore Letam is protective of the Agents under his command and the duties of the Hidden Hand. Any who threaten their tasks are in his mind threatening the continued safety of the Ascendancy, he is known to be distrustful of Political figures who wish to use the Hidden Hand to achieve more influence and authority.

He is often remarked "The Hidden Hand serve the Ascendancy and it shall protect the Ascendancy, from anyone who threatens it, be they without our borders or within".

Admiral Ara'lani:

Species: Chiss

A ranking officer in the Chiss Expansionary Defence Fleet, Admiral Ara'lani was chosen by Commodore Letam and Speaker Shati to be the primary Chiss officer for missions in close proximity to the wider galaxy.

She was chosen specifically due to her history of working with Senior Officer Mitth'raw'nuruodo who has been tasked with infiltrating the Galactic Empire and gather information. Any individuals that have been Identified by Senior Officer Thrawn shall be sent to a carefully selected set of co-ordinates where Admiral Ara'lani shall be waiting on her flag ship to retrieve them for the Ascendancy.

Admiral Ara'lani was chosen not just due to her military record and experience but also for her work ethic and according to certain details, her willingness to "Bend the Line when needed".

Her duties on behalf of the Hidden Hand are clear, she herself is not to be directly involved in any operation or mission assigned to an agent but is only to provide retrieval, as dictated by the Non Aggression laws of the Ascendancy. Admiral Ara'lani can only engage in combat if absolutely necessary and only in a defensive manner, orders have also been given to her ship that if they are forced to fight, then.

"You are to ensure that none are able to return and bare witness to the existence of the Chiss Ascendancy".

Mitth'raw'nuruodo:

Species: Chiss

Core Name: Thrawn

Based on experiences and expertise that core name Thrawn has shown during his time in the Chiss Expansionary Defence Fleet, as well as his constant "Bending of the rules" in regards of the Non Aggression policy of the Ascendancy. Senior Officer Thrawn was chosen to be the primary operative for infiltrating the Galactic Empire, his mission was clearly defined in his briefing.

He was also granted partial access to the Hidden Hand communication and information network in order to better complete his mission. However he was warned that his access shall not grant him knowledge on the true identities of agents within the network.

- Be Located by the Empire

- Ingratiated himself into its ranks

- Study and analyse the Empire

- Identify and recruit individuals that can be of use to the Ascendancy

- Judge whether the Empire is a possible Ally for the Ascendancy or requires weakening to ensure it does not pose a threat to the Ascendancy.

Senior Officer Thrawn was placed on a carefully selected planet, with his encampment properly arranged to give the impression that he had been exiled for many years. When an Imperial ship arrived to investigate he was able to infiltrate the ship, from there he met the Emperor, Sheev Palpatine himself and was granted the right to enter the Imperial Academy on Coruscant and then rise through the ranks of the Imperial Navy.

He currently holds the rank of Grand Admiral and is working on behalf of the Empire to eliminate the various rebellions occurring across the Galaxy in opposition to the Empire. During his time, Senior Officer Thrawn has identified key individuals that may be of use to the Ascendancy with some being successfully recruited, among which was a young human male named Eli Vanto who is currently serving under Admiral Ara'lani.

Reports from Senior Officer Thrawn have also identified the dangers in regards of the Empires power structure as well as its military failings, Senior Officer Thrawn reports that the Empire seems to favour form over function, preferring to sacrifice viable ships and weapons in favour of things that are either cheap or are meant to induce fear.

There are some concerns among Officers and Agents of the Hidden Hand that Senior Officer Thrawn has become more in favour of the Empire than his own people. It has been proposed that should it be required additional agents shall be placed in close proximity to Senior Officer Thrawn to eliminate him if he ever poses a threat to the Ascendancy.

Commander Ple'os'saimik

Species: Chiss

Core Name: Eoss

Commander Ple'os'saimik was selected to be the Officer in command of a Hidden Hand base at the half way mark of space between the Ascendancy and the wider galaxy.

As is protocol in regards of all such bases, the location is highly classified with its exact position being kept within the tightest circles of information. Commander Eoss's base serves a variety of functions, ranging from long range scanners, identifying any ships in proximity as well as tracking them to provide forewarning to the Expansionary defence fleet of possible dangers. It also serves as a Intelligence facility where various forms of transmissions are intercepted, decoded and analysed, as well as communication hub, where all communications from the different Hidden Hand bases and outposts across the wider galaxy are collected and passed on to the primary headquarters on Csilla.

In regards of his experience, Commander Eoss has served as the bases operational commander for several cycles, with no immediate or questionable disciplinary matters in that time. Though many judge him for being rather harsh and determined in regards of his subordinates, such reports were recanted after discussions with said subordinates.

He has been noted in a briefing for speaking out of term, the briefing was a discussion on which bases and outposts should be shut down and dismantled and which should be maintained. Commander Eoss spoke out when, the base he is responsible for was questioned, he argued that the site is in effect a gateway between the Chiss Ascendancy and the wider galaxy. Although they do not see much activity, it only takes one to find the path to the Ascendancy and considering the extent of the wider Galaxy and its possibly military strength, the Ascendancy would be at great risk.

In regards of the mission for Senior Officer Thrawn, Commander Eoss and his base was chosen as the primary site for those identified and recruited by the Hidden Hand are sent for verification and processing. As well as this the site also serves as a training ground for new recruits, those being sent out from the Ascendancy are tutored in various fields among which include languages such as Basic. Whilst at the same time, recruits from other parts of the Galaxy who are not of the Chiss Ascendancy are brought in for processing and tutelage of Chiss Society and language.

Commander Csad'ra'cyo:

Species: Chiss

Core Name: Drac

Commander Drac is the officer in command of a Hidden Hand base within the Outer Rim of the Galaxy, its placement is highly classified with the only position information being that it is within proximity to the Mon Calamari System.

Due to its placement so far from the Ascendancy, its purpose is to serve as a primary intelligence collection hub and communication relay. Commander Drac has been in charge of its maintenance and security for a number of years, despite it being so far from Chiss Space, he has managed to maintain proper discipline and protocol in regards of security.

He has managed to maintain the classified nature of the base as well as the communications that travel through its relay, his duties are clearly defined, ensure that the base remains secure and out of sight from all the different species and powers that are within close proximity to it. Maintain the communications relay that ensures direct communication between it, the agents of the Hidden Hand and the Ascendancy and ensure that the base is always ready to activate its purge protocol should the need ever arise.

Commander Drac is reported to be very stern in his duties, wanting to ensure that the secrecy of the base is paramount above all other duties. He is known to constantly alter access codes, encryption frequencies, communication and transmission codes, as well as constantly reverify the validity and trustworthiness of agents within the Hidden Hand.

It was Commander Drac that reported some disillusionment of Senior Officer Thrawn, referring to him as "An individual who is beginning to show more loyalty to the Galactic Empire over his own people", Commander Drac has even requested that Senior Officer Thrawn have his access to the Hidden Hand Communication and intelligence systems be revoked immediately.

Ufessaf'ali'akri:

Species: Twi'lek

Core Name: Falia

Core Name Falia is the main officer in charge of a communication and intelligence Hub within the Core systems of the Galaxy, she operates a business on the core world of Coruscant that she uses as a front for the outpost.

Core Name Falia was born on the Twi'lek homeworld of Ryloth however she was kidnapped as a child and sold into slavery, she was rescued by a ship of the Chiss Expansionary Defence fleet when the slavers attempted to use the Unknown regions as a route to smuggle goods and slaves around the formerly existing Republic. She was taken in by a Chiss family and was raised under their protection, she wholly embraced Chiss society and culture even taking on a Chiss name.

When she was old enough she joined the Chiss Expansionary Defence fleet and was later recruited into the Hidden Hand. She was chosen due to her previous experience in the wider galaxy as a slave, as well as her language skills, with her knowing the Twi'lek language as well as basic and Huttese. She was stationed on the Planet Coruscant to watch over and maintain a relay hub that connects various agents, bases and outposts with the Ascendancy.

The business she operates as the bases cover, is a bar and casino all properly legal with proper licencing with assistance from other Hidden Hand agents in place on Coruscant. She uses the business as a front with the true base being operated from a series of hidden rooms that are only accessible with proper clearance, within said rooms are the communication relays, transmission interception equipment and Chiss encoders.

As with all Hidden Hand bases and outposts, she is required to ensure its secrecy as well as ensure the constant readiness of its Purge Protocol.

Captain Falia has worked in close conjunction with Senior Officer Thrawn in his mission to evaluate and gather information on the Galactic Empire, with her base being the primary point for all information and intelligence that Senior Officer Thrawn was sending whenever he is on the planet of Coruscant.

Sha'iov'stokio:

Species: Chiss

Core Name: Iov

Captain Iov is the officer in command of a Hidden Hand base within the Outer Rim specifically within the territories known as Hutt Space, the base that he commands was placed in a specific location to give the appearance of a transport hub that services those employed by the Hutts.

To better give the appearance of a criminal element, Captain Iov and all who serve at the base undergo special training to give the better performance of hardened criminals. As well as this they are all required to maintain make up to make them appear as humans and other humanoid species in the galaxy.

As well as Captain Iov and all the operatives that work on the front for the base were required to undergo extensive training and practice in mechanical and technical work to ensure that no suspicions were raised should for instance a ship come in needing repairs and the Operatives have no real ability to properly repair it. Despite some concerns, Captain Iov also gave the recommendation that the Front business for the base pay up a portion of credits each month to the Hutt Clans/Cartels, this would ensure that the Hutts would not get suspicion or enraged of an operation in their territory that wasn't paying them tribute.

Captain Iov also was noted for using this front business for other missions on behalf of the Hidden Hand and the Ascendancy, using information from freighter haulers, pirates and smugglers about crashed ships during the "Clone Wars", which he would lead a team of operatives to salvage materials and more importantly data and intelligence from computer systems.

As with all officers of the Hidden Hand, Captain Iov was tasked with providing support to Senior Officer Thrawn in his mission within the ranks of the Imperial military. Apparently at Senior Officer Thrawns request, Captain Iov gathered information on smugglers that were focused on Doonium smuggling, apparently Senior Officer Thrawn had identified an individual who could be of use to the Ascendancy if they could be recruited who was involved in the smuggling of this particular metal.

Agents across the Galaxy:

Agents of the Hidden Hand are never properly identified by their true names, but rather their identifying number, an agent can be anyone, literally anyone, whether they be Chiss, Human or anyone from the countless of systems in the galaxy, it matters very little.

As long as they are loyal to the Ascendancy and are considered trustworthy, they remain members of the Hidden Hand, if not.

Then they are "removed".

During communications and discussion for security reason, Agents are not referred to by their true names nor even their gender, they are only referred to by the number and the word they. This is done to protect their identity should anything or anyone gain access to the Hidden Hand Network, such only ends when the Agent is safely extracted and brought to the protection of the main Hidden Hand base that conducts missions in the wider galaxy away from Chiss Space.

Only when the Agents are safely within Chiss Space do they renounce their number and become referred to by their name and gender.

Agent 110

Agent Name: Smagh Ulleer

Species: Nemodian

Role: Galactic Trade Information

A survivor of the Outbound flite, a mission combining the Jedi and Galactic Republic to being exploration efforts of the Unknown regions. Correction, Agent 110 is not a direct survivor of the Outbound Flite but instead of a "Rogue" Trade Federation force meant to ambush and destroy the mission.

Agent 110 was a survivor of this force that encountered elements of the Expansionary Defence Fleet, after his capture, he was recruited into the Hidden Hand and tasked with returning to the Republic and notably the Trade Federation. Serving as a minor officer aboard the Trade Federations various Lucre Hulk ships, he was able to gain access to various systems from which gathered information on the wider galaxy, the primary trade routes, where Trade Federations ships went and how often, which planets were visited the most, where the Trade Federation had a presence and so on.

Among the reports from Agent 110 was the Galactic Republics creation of free trade zones and then their removal with the implementation of taxes upon trade routes within said zones. Agent 110 was present when the Trade Federation in protest to the new taxations on trade routes, began a trade blockade around the Planet of Naboo denying access for any ships from leaving or approaching the planet without the proper authority.

One of their reports indicated that the leader of the Trade Federation blockade, Viceroy Nute Gunray was apparently following the orders of an unknown individual, as well as the sudden change from a legal blockade to an active military invasion of the planet of Naboo. During these events, Agent 110 was limited in what they could report in order to avoid suspicion or discovery, among these reports was the treatment of the inhabitants of the planet both Human and Gungan, as well as the apparent fear that Nute Gunray showed in regards of his mysterious puppet master.

During the instigation of the Clone Wars, Agent 110 reported that the Trade Federation was officially a neutral party in the conflict but reported several instances and suspicions that the Trade Federation was more or less pro separatist. Following the end of the war and in the following years, Agent 110 has reported that the Galactic Empire has begun greater and greater nationalisation of certain industries, though trade is still technically private ventures, it is heavily scrutinised.

As with all Agents of the Hidden Hand, Agent 110 has been told to support Senior Officer Thrawn in his mission within the Galactic Empire, Agent 110 has provided to Senior Officer Thrawn information in regards of the trade of a particular metal, doonium which is a prime metal in ship construction.

Agent 399:

Agent Name: Keva Nash

Species: Human - Naboo

Role: Political intelligence

Agent 399 serves as a member of the Imperial Senate where they serve to represent the Planet of Naboo, they were recruited by embedded Chiss agents already in place. They regard the Chiss Ascendancy as a better alternative to the Galactic Empire which they see as a growing corruptive entity within the galaxy.

Although the Imperial Senate does not have the same political power as its predecessor, the Republic Senate possessed due to the powers given to Emperor Palpatine. Agent 399 still has influence through her position as well as various connections that can and have been used for the benefit of the Hidden Hand.

Through the position as Senator for the system of Naboo, Agent 399 has gained access to various rumours and pieces of information on the occurrence within the Halls of the Senate building. Most of the intelligence they send is focused on other Imperial Senators as well as Imperial officials that have connections to members of the Senate.

For security reasons, Agent 399 maintains an extravagant lifestyle to give the appearance of being from high society which aids not just for the agents security but also to gain greater reputation among the other Senators who are in favour of the Empire. From which they are able to gather a great amount of information, as with other Agents of the Hidden Hand, Agent 399 was tasked to support Senior Officer Thrawn in assessing the Galactic Empire. Such was noted in several reports in regards of Senior Officer Thrawn during his time in the Imperial Academy, where he apparently "Embarrassed the son of an influential family".

Agent 399 has noted in several reports that they believe the growing power of the Empire has begun to show considerable amounts of corruption within Imperial Ranks notably in her eyes among the Highest ranks of both the military and Governance. It is the opinion of Agent 399 that the Emperor is imposing more authority into the hands of regional governors over the Imperial Senate in preparation of dissolving the Senate Permanently.

Should this occur, the Hidden Hand have decided to offer Agent 399 a choice, they can either return to their original home-world of Naboo and continue to serve as an active agent of the Hidden Hand or they can be properly and safely withdrawn by an extraction team back to Chiss Space.

Agent 416:

Agent Name: Hul Bedas

Species: Skakoan

Role: Technological Trade information

Agent 416 is a Skakoan who serves as a member of the Techno Union a major corporation within the Galactic Market.

Recruited by embedded agents within the Galactic Market, Agent 416 became a member of the Hidden Hands after being recruited by Hidden Hand agents already embedded in various other aspects of the Galactic Market. They have since become a key agent in regards of technological advancements in the wider galaxy.

416 provides technical information as well as detailed designs, blueprints and schematics that the Techno Union produce, as well as providing the information on what the Techno Union is building, where it is being built, how many they are building and for who they are building for. Such information has helped the Ascendancy maintain a constant understanding of the Wider Galaxies technological capabilities, this is amplified with the knowledge that for most in the galaxy the technology is almost always roughly the same, so despite differences and changes most of working on the same level.

When the Separatist movement began, agent 416 as a member of the Techno Union was able to gather information on where the corporation stood, they reported that the leader of the Techno Union a Skakoan known as Wat Tambor had pledged the Techno Unions droid army to the Separatists. Agent 416 remained in the Techno Union during the course of the Clone Wars sending detailed reports on what the Techno Union was doing for both sides but notably the Confederacy of Independent Systems as well as  the Republic.

These included detailed reports as well as blueprints for a Ion Cannon super weapon that was to be placed on a giant vessel known as the Malevolence. Alongside these 416 passed along detailed schematics for all ships, droids and vehicles used by the Confederacy of Independent systems.

Following the end of the Clone Wars, Agent 416 reported that the Galactic Empire had absorbed all assets, materials, facilities and blueprints. 416 remains as an "Indentured" Engineer for the Empire in a major facility that produces a variety of equipment from Stormtrooper armour to light walkers and even the Tie starfighter.

For security reason this location shall not be noted in this report for the obvious safety of Agent 416.

As with all agents, 416 was tasked with supporting Senior Officer Thrawn when possible on his mission to evaluate the Galactic Empire, when Senior Officer Thrawn requested details on the Empires doonium supply as well as detailed information on how much doonium is required for each type of vessel, as he had suspicions of a secret project that required an overwhelmingly amount of doonium for construction.

Agent 419:

Agent Name: Bredhu nec

Species: Devaronian

Role: Engineering Information

Agent 419 serves as an engineer within the so called "Scrapper Guild" on the planet known as Bracca, apparently this organisation focuses solely on the dismantling and salvaging of various materials from small craft to the largest star ships.

419 has served as an agent for a number of years by this point, having been a member of the Hidden Hand through the course of the Clone Wars, reporting that many residence on Bracca were pro-Separatist for much of the conflict and were then eventually subjugated by the Republic and later the Empire.

Since most of the ships that the Scrapper Guild dismantle and salvage are sent to them directly by the Galactic Empire, much of what Agent 419 reports is on what types of ships and vehicles or weapons that the Empire send to Bracca for the guild to work on. 419 has reported a variety of ships and vehicles being sent to Bracca by the express order of the Empire.

Most of them being vessels of both the Confederacy of Independent Systems, ranging from the different Droid tanks and star ships such as Muunificent class vessels and even a few Lucrehulks class battleships. But also various Galactic Republic ships from the Clone Wars, including the Venator Class Star Destroyer which was rapidly replaced by the Imperial Class by the Empire.

As well as the types of Vessels and vehicles the Guild work,on behalf of the Empire, Agent 419 also provides detailed information on what the Empire takes away. Notably in a number of reports various discrepancies have been noted by 419, they state that the Empire appears to be prioritising particular materials and metals over others. They have also noted that the Empire appears to be demanding very strict work quotas whilst also lowering the level of safety in regards of the Guilds different workers.

As with all agents of the Hidden Hand, 419 was told to support Senior Officer Thrawn in his mission in regards of the Galactic Empire, Senior Officer Thrawn has requested information in regards of a report from 419. He has specifically requested which types of materials the Empire appears to be favouring, 419 has reported to him that the primary focus appears to be the metal Doonium.

Agent 434

Agent Name: Raina Temple

Species: Chiss

Role: Various

Agent 434 was born within the Chiss Ascendancy where they served in the Defence Fleet where they showed a skill in learning languages. They were recruited into the Hidden Hand with the express purpose of engaging with the Galactic Republic under a cover name which has become her full blown identity. To support this cover, Agent 434 uses prosthetics and other materials to give the appearance that 434 was Human.

434 was introduced to a friendly individual within the Republic Navy who brought her own as a favour for a close friend, 434 was taken as a member of the Grand Army of the Republic Special Forces Command. They were tasked with acting as a personal aid to a Special forces teams commanding Officer, who was the same person who brought her into the Republic navy.

Agent 434 passed along various reports notably on the capabilities of the Republic Military specifically its special forces, alongside detailed reports on the different species and cultures that make up the Galactic Republic. Following the end of the Clone Wars and the creation of the Galactic Empire, 434 remained with the now former Special Forces team aboard their custom vessel, they have reported that during the course of the Empire thus far, the former unit and its commander have been assisting a pair of senators from the Imperial Senate in transporting refugees, supplies on behalf of charities and more clandestinely smuggling supplies to Rebel movements across the Galaxy.

As with Senior Officer Thrawn, Agent 434 as a long embedded agent has been tasked with a secondary objective, which is to identify individuals that can be of use to the Chiss Ascendancy and attempt to recruit them. They have also been tasked with identifying the strengths and weaknesses of the Galactic Empire should it be decided that for the sake of the Ascendancy, it must be weakened to the point that it does not prove a threat now or ever to the Ascendancy.

Agent 510

Agent Name: Petri Jareni

Species: Umbaran

Role: Technological Intelligence

Umbara is a planet of incredible differences, found within the Expansion region of the Galaxy in the ghost nebula which makes it exceedingly isolated. The planet has a very different Geography when compared to other planets, notably its sunlight, the planets surface does not receive any light from its local star, making the planet very dark.

This has made the Umbarans very different when compared to the rest of the Galaxy.

Agent 510 was recruited into the Hidden Hand by other agents before the Clone Wars, 510 provides a variety of reports and details in regards of Umbara, from their culture, their governance, society and of course their military. Whilst the rest of the Galaxy is varyingly similar when it comes to their technology, however Umbara is very different due to their isolated status, their weapons, vehicles and ships are all very unique.

510 has provided detailed schematics, designs and blueprints of the Umbaran military technologies which are almost constantly being refined, upgraded and replaced as the Umbarans constantly improve their technologies. As well as this, 510 has provided the manufacturing methods of the stimulants that Umbaran soldiers use in environmental suits whilst in combat, stimulants that make them more effective soldiers. Such information has been a great help to the Ascendancy in ensuring that if ever required, they can ensure that the Chiss Ascendancy is a step ahead of any technologies the galaxy and the Umbarans produce.

Agent 510 served in the Umbaran militia before and during the Clone Wars, being captured during the battle of Umbara by the Republic forces, they were later released and began serving under the Empires observation. Since then 510 has continued sending detailed reports on the Empires occupation of Umbara and its desires for the planets vast amounts of the metal Doonium.

As with all agents, 510 was tasked with supporting Senior Officer Thrawn in his mission to infiltrate the Imperial Ranks, with 510 providing details on Umbaran culture and the true nature of Umbaran resistance to the Empire notably the damage being caused to the planet from the sheer amount of mining for Doonium. Following an attack by a rebel group using former C.I.S vulture droids in which the Umbarans were blamed for, 510 has reported that the planet is now firmly under the direct control of the Empire which has imposed greater work quotas upon the populace.

Whilst 510 is still willing to continue working on behalf of the Hidden Hand, they have requested of the Hidden Hand and the Chiss Ascendancy that should it be requested that the Ascendancy will give sanctuary to Umbarans wishing to flee the Empire and settle somewhere else.

Agent 566:

Agent Name: Rianna Saren

Species: Twi'Lek

Role: Underworld Intelligence - Smuggling routes

Agent 566 is a Twi'el from their home-world of Ryloth, a planet within the Outer Rim, formerly a member of the Galactic Republic and now a planet under the Empire.

566 started their lives very difficultly experiencing much hardship which resulted in them becoming entangled with criminal elements in the galaxy. It was through these criminal elements that 566 became an experienced smuggler within the Outer Rim, through such smuggling efforts, they came into contact with the Chiss Ascendancy by mistake.

Now serving as an Agent of the Hidden Hand, 566 provides detailed reports on the smuggling rings across the galaxy and not just within the Outer Rim territories. Over their career spanning before, during and after the Clone Wars, 566 has provided detailed locations of various smuggler dens, pirate havens, black market locations as well as the various Smuggler routes throughout the different sectors of the Galaxy, routes that can and have been used by Hidden Hand agents in their own missions.

As well as this, using the excuse of a smuggler, 566 has supported Hidden Hand operations by transporting materials, supplies, resources and equipment as well as Agents across the galaxy, using the same smuggler routes that they use in the normal missions as an Agent of the Hidden Hand. Due to the secret nature of these different Hidden Hand bases throughout the galaxy, agents such as 566 are important to ensure that resources and supplies needed at these sites are able to be sent without arising suspicion.

As with all Agents of the Hidden Hand, 566 was tasked with supporting Senior Officer Thrawn in his mission to infiltrate the Imperial Military. 566 has provided at the request of Senior Officer Thrawn, information on the smuggling circles, specifically what is being smuggled at certain times or what is being favoured in the black markets and is being delivered by said smugglers. Apparently Senior Officer Thrawn has requested details on a specific smuggler known as Nightswan who Senior Officer Thrawn believes is an individual who may be of use to the Chiss Ascendancy.

Agent 598

Agent Name: Pivus Qask

Species: Nikto

Role: Underworld Intelligence - Hutt Clans

Agent 598 was born on the Planet Nal Hutta, a planet that is under the direct control of a the Hutt Clans, a criminal enterprise that according to sources are a powerhouse in the Outer Rim and have direct control of several worlds in the Outer Rim, in a region that is known as Hutt Space.

They were recruited by the Hidden Hand after an altercation in which they grew disillusioned with their Hutt "Overlords", up until this point they had served as a foot soldier for an individual known in the Galaxy as Jabba.

Agent 598 continues to serve as a foot soldier for the Hutts which enables them to gain details on the various Hutt criminal enterprises across the Galaxy. Through their reports, the Hidden Hand understand the structure of the Hutt Clans and by extension the Hutt Cartels, what areas of the Criminal Underworld they operate and where their powerbase can be placed.

According to 598, the Hutts operate in individual clans, which each clan being headed by a leader, the top Clans are the members of the Grand Hutt Council, the head of these Five Hutt Families rule over the combined Hutt Cartels and are the ones the make the most important decisions in Hutt Space. According to 598, nothing happens within Hutt Space or among the Hutt Clans without the knowledge of the Five families or more specifically without their permission, anything that does is swiftly dealt with as a show of force.

598 has been operating as an agent for the Hidden Hand for a number of years by this point, before, during and now after the Clone Wars, from the reports of 598 it was learned that both the Republic and the Confederacy desired the support of the Hutt Clans to gain the advantage in their war. Following the war, they have continued passing along various reports on the workings of the Hutt Clans, which according to 598 have apparently unified under the single leadership of Jabba the Hutt, whom took power after the other members of the Grand Hutt Council were killed.

This however has not slowed the Hutts criminal enterprise, as a matter of fact according to 598 the Hutts under Jabba have a form of Agreement with the Galactic Empire in which the Hutts are allowed to continue their criminal enterprise. Agent 598 has been asked to find out what the terms of this agreement are and whom are the people responsible for the agreement.

Agent 662

Agent Name: Nara Doran

Species: Human - Corellia

Role: Imperial Military

Agent 662 is a human who serves in the Imperial Military, their primary purpose is to provide details on various aspects of the Imperial military structure and capabilities.

Recruited during the end of the Clone wars, Agent 662 is a minor officer in the Imperial military, most of the information that 662 provides is small, the positions of Imperial fleets and patrol routes, this is considered important as it allows the Hidden Hand to avoid the Imperial eye during their own operations.

It is due to Agent 662 that the Empire was able to uncover the site that Senior Officer Thrawn was placed in his falsified exile, 662 laid data into the Imperial system that enabled the Hidden Hand to put in orders that despatched an Imperial ship to the Planet where Senior Officer Thrawn was located.

Following Senior Officer Thrawns extraction by the Empire, as with all agents 662 was ordered to support Senior Officer Thrawn in the undertaking of his mission. They have done this by providing detailed layouts of the Imperial power structure notably within its military, one key point that was made clear was that the high rankings within the Imperial military often attempt to achieve more and more power through a variety of means which can in extreme cases include assassination.

As well as this, Agent 662 has provided through their access to the Imperial system, intelligence and the identities of individuals that Senior Officer Thrawn may find viable recruits for the Chiss Ascendancy, one that they have identified is an Imperial Officer called Gilead Pelleaon who is an Admiral in the Imperial Navy, another is a Dathomiri woman known as Morgan Elsbeth.

However as with other operatives within the Hidden Hand, 662 is of the opinion that the Galactic Empire is not a stable power within the galaxy, according to their reports, the rampant power struggles within the Imperial power structure makes it incredibly fragile, as well as reports that several officers within the Imperial navy seem to care more about their own glory over credible results.

In the event that the Hidden Hand by order of the Ascendancy that it is decided that operatives of the Hidden Hand shall attempt to weaken the Empire, a specially constructed computer virus is being prepared for agent 662 to input into the Imperial systems.

Agent 664:

Agent Name: Yur Sanoru

Species: Bothan

Role: Bothan Spy Network Intelligence

According to various sources, the Bothan species possess a spy network that could challenge the Hidden Hand, thankfully from information sent by Agent 664 such is not the case.

Agent 664 was recruited into the Hidden Hand in the weeks following the Formation of the Galactic Empire, 664s primary duties is to use the Bothan Spy Network to assist the Hidden Hand operations in the wider galaxy. They do this by providing actionable intelligence retrieved from the Bothan Network and passing it along to the respective agents that require the information.

According to 664 the Bothan Spy Network is extremely delicate and very precise in its construction and operation, according to 664 the Network does not make a decision unless it is certain of the information. In certain reports, they detail that the information and intelligence that the Bothan Spy Network gather is put into one of three categories. The first is Defensive information, intelligence from the surrounding Systems that are within close proximity to the home-world of Bothawui, this is usually on the movement of ships around the Home-world and thus identifying threats and dangers in proximity before they are too close, thus giving the Bothans time to respond.

The Second is Intelligence for Profit, where the Bothans apparently gather information and intelligence that would be profitable to their people and their society, such is usually information on trade routes, market values etc. The Final is Intelligence for a cause, according to 664 the Bothans are not in favour of the Empire and provide clandestine support to the growing Rebellions across the galaxy, they report that operatives within the Bothan Spy Network are providing information to certain rebel movements in the galaxy with the "Unofficial" consent of the planets government.

As with all agents and operatives of the Hidden Hand, Agent 664 was ordered to support Senior Officer Thrawn in his mission within the Galactic Empire when absolutely required. However Agent 664 does not believe that the Galactic Empire is stable enough for it to be considered a viable ally for the Chiss Ascendancy.  They report that the growing power of regional governors and the officers of the Imperial Military, notably the Moffs and Grand Moffs are constantly in embued in power plays, which weakens the stability of the Empire. As well as this, 664 has uncovered no proper plans for the transition of powers should the Emperor die, in effect should Emperor Palpatine die then there will be no clearly defined successor.

Which in the opinion of 664, will result in the Empire fragmenting and turning on itself.

Agent 681

Agent Name: Senat Duunec

Species: Falleen

Role: Underworld Intelligence - Black Sun Crime Syndicate

In the criminal underworld, the Black Sun syndicate are one of the main powers, according to sources they specialise in different criminal enterprises, comprised mainly members of the Falleen Species though it does employ other species.

Agent 681 was recruited before the Clone Wars and was present for the rapid rise to power of the Black Sun, according to 681, the syndicate were relatively small before the Clone Wars began. However they have detailed that since many authorities, notably the Jedi Order were distracted with the growing conflict, the Syndicate were able to rapidly rise in power and influence within the criminal underworld.

According to the reports from Agent 681 the Black Sun Syndicate focuses on a variety of different criminal elements, from trafficking of Sentients as slaves, protection rackets within the populated planets they operate, as well as the working of various black markets which sell different illegal goods including weapons, but there are locations that the Black Sun have direct control. According to 681 the Black Sun council, made up of influential nobles of the Falleen species are situated in a fortress on the planet of Mustafar where the Black Sun operate black market smuggling as well as the manufacturing of illicit goods.

Within the Empire, despite the rapid growth of military and security elements, some would expect criminal enterprises to begin to be more and more suppressed. However based on the reports from agent 681, the Black Sun have a tenuous relationship with the Empire,  apparently in exchange for assistance in the trafficking of sentients notably those that the Empire enslaves, then the Empire allows the Black Sun to continue operating on a certain level.

However as with other Agent of the Hidden Hand, 681 is uncertain whether the Empire is a viable ally for the Chiss Ascendancy, regarding it as easily corrupted, with 681 providing a list of various Imperial officials and military officers who are accepting bribes from the Black Sun Crime Syndicate.

As with all agents, 681 was ordered to provide support as and when required to Senior Officer Thrawn in regards of his mission within the Galactic Empire. Agent 681 however believes that due to the rampant corruption within the Empire, its internal stability is questionable and rather than trying to question whether the Empire is a viable ally, the question should be whether or not the Ascendancy and the Hidden Hand should work to weaken it to the point that it cannot be of any danger to the Chiss Ascendancy.

Just in case, the Hidden Hand are considering passing along additional resources, personnel and materials to aid 681 in using the Black Sun syndicate to weaken the Empire from within.

Agent 731:

Agent Name: Ethes Luraman

Species: Human - Alderaanian

Role: Rebellion Intelligence

Agent 731 born on Alderaan was recruited by Chiss agents whilst serving as a guard on a trade vessel in wild space, after proper training at the Main Hidden Hand base, they were first tasked with taking a role in the Alderaanian Royal Guard and passing along information on the Alderaanian humanitarian efforts as well as their political actions.

It was through Agent 731 that it was discovered that many powerful families of Alderaan notably the Organa Family were supporting in secret rebel movements across the galaxy using various forms including having their ships being "stolen by rebels". Alongside the transportation of supplies and the gathering of intelligence from different agents that they have in positions across the galaxy.

When this was uncovered, Agent 731 was tasked with joining the growing Rebel Network as an active member, 731 was part of an escorting guard that transported supplies and pieces of equipment to the so called Massassi Group under the rebel leader, Jan Dodonna, once there he remained and through encrypted and disguised transmissions has maintained close communications with the Hidden Hand and continued sending detailed reports on the growing Rebellion.

Agent 731 has themselves taken part in numerous engagements on behalf of the Rebellion primarily as a means of maintaining their cover as a loyal soldier of the Rebellion, supposedly being present during a rebel strike on an Imperial facility on the planet Felucia.

It is through their reports that the Hidden Hand now have a solid grasp on the scale of the Rebellion against the Empire as well as the capabilities and expertise the Rebels have begun to show as well as their co-ordination.

It is the opinion of Agent 731 that due to the growing rebellion against the Empire and its rapidly growing organisation and unification, the Galactic Empire is not a viable ally for the Chiss Ascendancy and rather than try and support it, more effort should be going to sabotage it in order to protect the Ascendancy.

Agent 734

Agent Name: Tol Bour

Species: Human - Mandalorian

Role: Extremist Information

The divided nature of the Mandalorian culture has proved an extreme issue for the Hidden Hand whilst operating within the wider galaxy as the Mandalorian of certain sects and groups are mistrustful of outsiders.

Thankfully in the years prior to the Clone Wars, the Hidden Hand were able to recruit Agent 734, they are a Mandalorian loyal to their warrior ethos and culture, however was against the idea of Mandalore being a state only ever looking for war and conquest. 734s main goal is to provide detailed information on the strength and capabilities of each of the Mandalorian Faction with a priority on the most extreme elements of their culture.

According to the reports of 734 the Mandalorian leading up to the Clone Wars were primarily peaceful having been somewhat unified under the rule of a Duchess who led the Pacifist New Mandalorians, whose goal was to end the warrior ways of the past and focus on a pass of peace, where Mandalore would focus on art, culture and science over warfare. However during the Clone Wars, 734 reported that a faction of Mandalorians that called itself Death Watch had formed to challenge the Pacifist government and had started an insurrection, 734 joined the movement to gather intelligence.

They reported that the Death Watch received the backing of the Separatists and apparently was trying to force the Galactic Republic to send peacekeeping troops to the planet, which would incite the populace to rally around Death Watch, in effect turning them from terrorists to liberators. But after this conspiracy was unravelled, Death Watch and the Separatists broke off their alliance and Death Watch according to 734 became a roaming band of militants, eventually they managed to overthrow the Pacifist government but as expected, Death Watch broke into two different factions which started fighting amongst themselves.

According to 734, the Night Owls, a rebel faction of Death Watch whom they joined to gather information, convinced the Republic to intervene with Bo'Katan Kreeze becoming Regent following the overthrowing of the Death Watch. However following the ascension of the Empire, Mandalore was again overturned in its government with Clan Saxon seizing power under the Empire.

734 has since linked up with rebel elements within Mandalore that seek to remove the traitors of Clan Saxon and oust the Empire from Mandalore. According to 734 these elements are not part of any mainstream rebellion at this time, nor do they have connections with other rebel movements currently operating across the galaxy. However this might possibly change.

As Agent 734 is a Mandalorian by blood, as well as experience, 734 has at times been requested to assist other Agents and operatives or the Entire Hidden Hand to "Remove" certain elements that either directly threaten the Chiss Ascendancy and the Hidden Hand or could result in the establishment of a direct threat to both. 734 has been selected and ordered to stand at the ready should the decision be made to weaken the Empire so that it does not prove a danger to the Chiss Ascendancy.

As with all operatives and agents, Agent 734 was ordered to support Senior Officer Thrawn in his mission to infiltrate the Galactic Empire. 734 has also been tasked with identifying individuals or clans that may be of use to the Chiss Ascendancy now or in the future and if required make contact with the goal of recruitment.

Agent 759:

Agent Name:  Nas Borz

Species: Human - Onderon

Role: Rebellion Information and Extremism

According to all information of the Hidden Hand, the Planet of Onderon was a pro separatist planet at the outbreak of the Clone Wars, with its reigning monarch, King Sanjay Rash supporting the Separatists cause. However the truth was that Sanjay Rash was installed by the Separatists after they took over the planet with Rashs help.

However a small group of Rebels attempted to fight a guerrilla war against the Separatist occupation and restoring the true monarch, King Dendup. Agent 759 was present for this conflict being a young recruit at the time, they fought with the rebels during the early days, to when they started receiving clandestine backing from the Republic and then when the Rebels started making big enough actions to force the Separatists to withdraw from the conflict allowing King Dendup to regain the thrown.

Agent 759 was recruited following this victory, he remained with the Onderon forces up until the end of the Clone Wars when the Empire was formed, according to them, many worlds were grateful for the Empire in bringing peace. But several factions did not like the sudden military occupations that came in the name of peace, Onderon rebel units under the leadership of Saw Gerrera was one of them.

According to 759, Saw Gerrera founded one of the first rebel movements to resist the Empire, they were ordered to join Saw Gerreras Partisans and stay with them as a committed rebel in order to gather intelligence. From the reports of 759 in the early years of the Rebellion, it was deemed that the different factions of Resistance and Rebellion were not unified in any way and seemed only focused on their own interests. One reason according to 759 was that the Partisans leader, Gerrera, was very much a militant individual who was very untrusting, under him the Partisans seem to be willing to perform a variety of actions in the name of bringing down the Empire.

In recent years with the growing co-ordination of Rebel movements and the combining of various forces and groups into larger more dangerous factions. 759 has reported that the Partisans under Gerrera have been denounced by a number of other large scale rebel movements who regard them as anarchists and extremists, due to their willingness to conduct attacks on Imperial targets that can and have resulted in civilian casualties as well as the torture and abuse of captured Prisoners.

As a member of the Partisans, 759 has been able to pass along information on the activities of various Rebel movements and groups across the galaxy in recent years. Such information has been of use.

As with all operatives and agents of the Hidden Hand, 759 has been ordered to support Senior Officer Thrawn in his mission within the Empire if absolutely required. Though 759 is uncertain, they feel that the Empire is too brittle and too prone to retaliation and the wilful targeting of civilians in response to Rebel attacks. However they of the opinion that extreme groups like the Partisans are too dangerous to be of use to the Ascendancy.

His latest report, details that Saw Gerrera has been focused on targeting Imperial transports and convoys that are being used to support some kind of super weapon, something that 759 has reported to be a "Planet Killer" as they have heard. In his last report, 759 reported that the partisans are moving their operations to the Planet Jedha where the Empire appears to be extracting a resource needed for this super weapon.

759 has been ordered to focus on gathering any information in regards of this supposed "Planet Killer".

Agent 770:

Agent Name: Oban

Species: Pyke

Role: Underworld Intelligence: Pyke Syndicate

According to sources there are various Criminal syndicates across the galaxy each with their own points and focuses. The Pyke Syndicate is apparently the galaxies primary supplier of illicit spice, notably illicit narcotics that spice can be manufactured into, which again is the focus of the Pyke Syndicate.

Agent 770 is the only operative that the Hidden Hand has within the Pyke Syndicate, mostly due to the Pykes being very exclusive to their own species, although they will work with other individuals of different species, only members of the Pyke species are able to really join the Syndicate.

770 has managed to obtain a variety of information including the different forms of illicit spice goods as well as the various methods of production that the Pykes use to make Credits. They have also given the maps of different smuggling routes and hyperspace lanes that the Pykes use to transport their illicit goods, even the primary buyers of their Spice and where they can be located.

According to 770 the Pykes possess several "Bases" across the galaxy from which they conduct business, however their primary strongholds are the Pyke home-world of Oba-Diah and the planet Kessel, both of which are of great importance to the Syndicate. The Former being not just their home-world but also where their primary spice production facilities are located and the later being the largest source of raw spice in the known galaxy from which the Syndicate send to Oba-Diah for processing but also to legal markets where spice is used in medicine.

Due to them being a full member of the Syndicate, 770 has been able to infiltrate various aspects of the Syndicate through the years, during the final years of the Clone Wars, they reported that the Pykes had joined a fragile alliance of them, the Black Sun, the Hutts and the Mandalorian splinter group known as Death Watch. Apparently however this alliance began to break apart following the end of the Clone Wars, with the Pykes maintaining control of the supply of Black Market Spice.

According to the most recent reports, the Pykes have a fragile agreement with the Galactic Empire, where in exchange for assistance in providing materials for the Imperial military, the syndicate is allowed to operate to an extent. Apparently according to 770, the Pykes have been assisting the Empire in the transportation of slaves specifically non human sentient species, however this agreement has in the most recent reports begun to show strain, apparently some form of uprising occurred within the Spice Mines of Kessel and the Imperial Navy has to intervene and now apparently control the planet.

Agent 770 has continued to send detailed reports on the operations of the Pyke Syndicate, among the reports are details on rampant Imperial Corruption, where officials and officers are bribed by different Syndicates including the Pykes to allow the transportation and sale of illicit goods. Such has been considered useful should the need to weaken the Empire become necessary for the Security of the Chiss Ascendancy.

Agent 876

Agent Name: Virpfiln Tos

Species: Mon Calamari

Role: Ship Technological information

According to sources the Mon Calamari species are renowned ship designers and builders, with vast ships being used in their mercantile fleet that serves to bolster their economy.

Agent 876 was recruited by the Hidden Hand in the months leading up to the ascension of the Galactic Empire, apparently they were concerned with the growing militancy of the Galactic Republic and the rapidly growing power of its chancellor, Sheev Palpatine. 876 primarily serves to provide details on the manufacturing and designing of the various types of fleet construction occurring across the galaxy.

They have already provided the schematics for the basis of Mon Calamari vessel, noting in their report that most Mon Calamari vessels are not uniform directly in design, with each designer making small changes. But they have reported that all the technologies within these vessels remain the same, so despite appearance they all possess the same weapons, armour and the "Famed" Mon Calamari shield generators.

The designs of said generators have been passed along to the Chiss Expansionary Defence fleet for analysis and reverse engineering, that they may be able to improve Chiss vessel protection.

Reports state they were "Conscripted" into Imperial Service following the Imperial Occupation of their home-world, they now serve as a systems engineer for the Empire at one of several major shipyards. Apparently due to them having to pay of a debt, when this was completed they were able to download different Imperial designs for all kinds of vehicles and ships.

They are currently serving as a systems engineer for a civilian shipyard that is situated within the Kuat system where one of the largest Shipyards is located. 876 send detailed reports from they overhear within the different different bars and cantinas, most reports are on the ongoing construction of different starships within the Kuat Driveyards where the Empire produces their largest vessels.

In recent years, 876 has reported that their people, the Mon Calamari are growing more and more rebellious with a faction led by former officers of the Mon Calamari fleet, one being an individual known as Raddus and the other known as Ackbar, stealing a small number of ships and targeting Imperial operations. 876 has been re-tasked with linking up with this Mon Calamari rebel faction, infiltrate its ranks and provide detailed reports on the capabilities of the rebellions star ships and fleet make up.

Agent 876 is of the opinion that the Empire is not a viable ally to the Chiss Ascendancy, noting the primary reason being the Empires extreme Human supremacist ideologies as well as the mistreatment and even enslavement of certain sentient species that have been deemed non-human by the Empire.

Agent 901

Agent Name: Kic Prayn

Species: Kaminoan

Role: Biological Technological information

According to information from a number of different agents and operatives as well as easily accessible sources, the Kaminoans are extremely advanced in the form of genetic engineering and advanced cloning, a science that apparently they have dedicated their entire economy too.

Agent 901 is a genetics engineer for the Kaminoans and according to their detailed information on the Kaminoan culture and society, Cloning and genetic engineering is their only real source of income due to their planet being made up entirely of oceans. It appears that an unknown period of time ago, the planet of Kamino suffered an ecological disaster that caused the planets ocean levels to rise at an extreme rate, covering at landmass. The Kaminoans using their technology erected several raised cities that sat above the surface of the turbulent oceans below.

According to 901, the genetics and scientific knowledge the Kaminoans possess isn't just used in their clones operations, but also within their own society. According to 901, the entire Kaminoan population has been carefully genetically modified and tampered, with each generation conducting numerous tests and advancements to ensure the genetic security of their population. At least this is the case according to 901, however the knowledge of this advanced genetics program is of great importance to the Ascendancy, mostly in the possibilities it could possess for the secret Skywalkers of the Ascendancy.

901 has reported that roughly 10 years before the outbreak of the Clone Wars, a Jedi Master known as Sifo Dyas put in a personnel request for the creation of a massive Clone Army from the Kaminoan cloning facilities. Apparently the Jedi Master had "Foreseen" the outbreak of a great conflict and that the Republic would need an army to defend it.

However according to some suspicions that 901 flagged during their work on the Clone Army, they detailed a series of abnormalities in regards of the Clones themselves. They reported that all clones were embedded with an "Inhibitor chip" within their brains that contained a series of protocols and orders that could be activated which would temporarily overturn the Clones mental state. According to information extracted by 901, these orders ranged to fit a variety of different scenarios or dangers, one of which is believed to have been enacted at the end of the Clone Wars, Order 66 to be specific, in which the Clone army turned on the Jedi who were declared traitors to the Republic.

At the Outbreak of the Clone Wars, according to 901, the planet Kamino was accepted into the Republic and a large blockade fleet was placed above the planet to defend the cloning facilities from the Separatists. Though they also reported a great level of corruption within the Republic in regards of the conflict with Kamino itself showing signs of this corruption as their representative constantly pushed for the purchase of more clone troopers for the Republic.

However after the Clone Wars, 901 reported that the Kaminoans fell out of favour with the Galactic Empire with most of the planets cloning technology and their top scientists being taken to an unknown Imperial facility.

901 themselves managed to be safely extracted by the Hidden Hand and is currently supporting Ascendancy research from a Hidden Hand base. Though no longer directly involved, 901 has been granted permission to maintain loose contact with other Kaminoans that are not living under the direct control of the Galactic Empire, the hope is that 901 may be able to recruit other Kaminoan scientists and engineers to join the Chiss Ascendancy.

Agent 991

Agent Name: Cented Orkem

Species: Human - Coruscant

Role: Underworld Intelligence - Zerek Besh

According to source, Zerek Besh is a new and growing powerful criminal syndicate within the Wider Galaxy, apparently coming from almost nothing, the syndicate now has a hand in a variety of different criminal enterprises.

In order to gather intelligence on this new syndicate, Agent 991 was formally located on the planet Coruscant was re-tasked to infiltrate the syndicate and gather information. According to the original reports, the Zerek Besh syndicate was focused primarily on the accumulation of wealth and influence within the underworld, apparently the leadership of Zerek Besh focuses very much on the careful selection and training of its enforcers and appears to keep all business "In house".

Despite its small beginnings, 991 has reported that the syndicate has rapidly grow into a major powerhouse within the criminal underworld, at the moment the syndicate is equal in power and influence as the current major powerhouses such as the Black Sun, Pykes and Hutts.

However in recent reports, 991 has detailed that it is their opinion that Zerek Besh is not a true genuine criminal syndicate, as 991 sent through encoded channels, details that prove that Zerek Besh is a project being orchestrated and led directly by the Imperial Security Bureau.

According to 991, the real purpose of Zerek Besh is to use the criminal underworld to locate rebel movements, identify their allies or those who are friendly to the rebels across the galaxy, whilst also performing sting operations to bring about the destruction of the Rebellions against the Empire.

This fits with other reports from 991 as well as details from other agents currently embedded within Criminal elements across the galaxy, who confirm that their is little information on how Zerek Besh rose to power and prominence. As well as the details on the capabilities of the Zerek Besh Enforcers who appear to be highly trained, highly motivated and when compared to other syndicates appear to be very well armed, more so when compared to other syndicates.

Agent 1290:

Agent Name: Gunner

Species: Clone

Role: Coruscant Intelligence

The planet of Coruscant is the heart of the Galaxies political power structure, both during the days of the Galactic Republic but also the current reigning Galactic Empire. With the entire planet consisting of a giant city that stretches every part of the planets surface as well as countless levels below into the planets crust.

Within these lower levels is a force empowered by the Coruscant government and now the Empire to enforce order and maintain the peace, this is the Coruscant Underworld police that serves as the main law enforcement within the underground levels of the planet.

Agent 1290 is one of several agents that the Hidden Hand possesses within these lower levels, they themselves had originally served in the Grand Army of the Republic fighting against the Confederacy before the formation of the Galactic Empire and the reforming of the Republic military into the Imperial Navy with the phasing out of most of the Republic troops in favour of "Recruits".

Those troopers that served in the Army were decommissioned and practically given up on, though some were used in the training of the new recruits for the Empires military. The vast majority were cast out to find their own way, which according to 1290, was practically impossible for these soldiers as they had been born, bred and lived their entire lives to be soldiers. 1290 was able to find work in the Coruscant Underworld police as a street officer, it was around this time that they were recruited by the Hidden Hand and became a key agent on Coruscant.

Due to them now being an officer in the force, they have limited access to a number of mainframes that are connected to Imperial systems, though they are limited in what they can do within the system to avoid detection. The information from 1290 has proved valuable in providing security for Hidden Hand operations on Coruscant, enabling agents and operatives to remain hidden from the eyes of the I.S.B.

As has become apparent in the Empire, 1290 has confirmed rampant corruption within the Imperial infrastructure, they confirm that the Underworld Police have very limited authority on Coruscant with most power now being taken under the Imperial umbrella. They also confirm that many Imperial officers on Coruscant are taking bribes from influential families on the planet as well as other core worlds, which they believe endangers the stability of the Empire.

1290 has also confirmed that many levels of the Underworld of Coruscant are not in favour of the Galactic Empire which has begun to abuse a great number of citizens within the lower levels that do not fit with the Empires image of a "Perfect Society". Although there is no active resistance to the Empire, there have been protests and it is the opinion of 1290 that it could take a single catalyst to incite greater violence.

1290 has been ordered to stand ready, should the Empire be deemed a threat to the Chiss Ascendancy, they are to assist other operatives and agents to incite violence and resistance against the Empire within the lower levels.
