The BURDWATCHERS: The Top Ten Class

This is an extension of one of my favourite story collections, the Birdwatchers, otherwise known as the Bureau of United Research and Defence "B.U.R.D" Watchers, a fictional organisation of my own creation that works to protect the planet and humanity from anything and everything that is not of this earth, so exterestrial, paranormal, supernatural, extra-dimensional and so on. In essence they are kind of like the Men in Black, just on a global scale and are empowered by every nation on the planet to do whatever is necessary to ensure that such things are captured, contained/eliminated and studied whilst making sure that it is all kept secret from the public.
However in the Bureau there are ten things that are deemed so dangerous that only those of certain authorisation are allowed to know about them, ten subjects and objects that are so dangerous that they could bring about untold chaos should they be mismanaged or on the loose.

Access to the cell is strictly off limits and is not permitted under any circumstances, this is due to the danger of Subject 010. Entry into the Cell is only when the Subject is fully sedated and should be relegated to a strict timeline related to the required duty.

In event of a breach, the cell and vault shall be cloaked in a powerful sedative that has proven capable of rendering Subject 010 unconscious. In event of the danger of Subject 010 is capable of escaping, the cell, vault and access corridor shall be hit by a powerful Tesla shock that has proven capable of incapacitating Subject 010 and possibly be capable of terminating the Subject.
All personnel both security and research of Subject 010 are to undergo routine psychological and physical evaluation every 30 days to ensure their health both physically and psychologically.
Any who do not follow this protocol even once, shall face immediate dismissal and will face Disciplinary action.
Information:
Subject 010 is a paranormal entity with powers that have yet to be encountered by the Bureau either before or since its successful containment.
The Subject possesses a human like figure and body like structure, however examination by assigned researchers have determined that the Subject despite having a human appearance does not have any form of internal body structure, such as muscles, bones even internal organs.
Subject 010 was discovered by Bureau operatives during an investigation into several individuals suffering extreme psychological break downs and outbreaks. Upon investigation, several members of the investigating team went missing only to be rediscovered in a psychiatric hospital with similar break downs as the previous victims.
A full response team was dispatched to locate following the successful identification of the Subject by additional investigation operatives. After several attempts, the Subject was successfully captured, with a total of 38 Response Team operatives suffering extreme physical "Pains" and long term psychological problems.
The cause of all the danger comes from Subject 010s paranormal ability to inflict physical and psychological pain upon any it so desires. Subject 010 appears to find excitement and joy from the inflicting of this pain, the greater the pain, the more joy it experiences.
It is for this reason that access to Subject 010s cell is strictly off limits and interaction with the Subject is also strictly off limits for clear safety.

Under no circumstances is anyone to enter the vault containing Object 009, the interior of the vault shall be lined with Tesla security systems to ensure any paranormal/supernatural energies are contained within the vault. Access is only under the condition of standard mainitence of the security systems within the vault including the security cameras and research systems.
During such mainitence, a fully vetted security team must be present to ensure that no one attempts to approach Object 009.
Approaching a two metre radius of Object 009 as clearly marked on the floor of the Vault, shall result in immediate dismissal from the section and will be grounds for disciplinary actions.
Any who attempt to touch or open Object 009 will be treated as hostile will be shot on sight.
The Access corridor to the vault shall consist of 4 high security laser doors, each shall have 2 guards on them at all times with live rounds in their weapons.

Object 009 also referred to as "Pandora's Box" is a unknown object that has yet to be properly categorised by the Bureau research sections, it is believed to be either Supernatural or Paranormal in nature, however some have theorised possible extra dimensional.
The Object was found within an underground chamber that had apparently been constructed by an ancient Greek organisation on the Island of Gavdopoula in the Mediterranean Sea, the site has been dated to approximately 500 BCE before the time of the Greco Persian Wars.
According to the evidence uncovered, Object 009 is the focal point of the story of Pandora's Box. According to the story, the Ancient Gods gave Pandora a box and was told not to open it, however her curiosity lead her to open it and release what was inside.
This included the so called evils of the world:
-Sickness
-Sorrow
-Vice
-Violence
-Greed
-Madness
-Old Age
-Death
-Turmoil
-Strife
However it is said that the Box also contained "Hope" however since no one has ever opened Object 009 this has never been proven. The Bureau Directive and the United Nations have deemed that due to the inherint danger that Object 009 possesses that no one shall be permitted to open Object 009.
This is due to the unknowns that surround what might be found within, if the story is to be believed, Object 009 holds the worlds evils as well as Hope, but since it is impossible to be certain of what may within. The Bureau has enacted a strict protocol that makes clear any who approach Object 009 or attempt to open it will be treated as Hostile and will be shot.
Such a Protocol has been enforced since the safe containment of Object 009 a total of 7 times thus far.

Access to the vault shall require full authorisation from the Research and Security Lead for Object 008 and can only be done for the following purposes:
-Mainitence of vault and or Containment Device
-Mainitence of Internal Security Systems
-Active Research Sampling
Except for these purposes no personnel are permitted to enter the Vault for Object 008 or open the containment device.
The access corridor for Object 008 holds two automated turret systems one on either side of the Vault door, the access corridor shall have 3 internal secure doors, 2 tungsten bars and 1 Thermal laser security door. Each set of doors shall have 2 armed guards at all times, these guards are to remain on the side of their assigned door opposite the Vault door itself.
For security reasons all Personnel assigned to Object 008 are to undergo routine psychological evaluation every 7 days for reasons of health and safety. Failure to do so even once will result in immediate dismissal from the section and will also result in Severe Disciplinary Action.
Any who attempt to interact or remove Object 008 from its containment shall be regarded as Hostile and will be shot on sight.
Information:
Object 008 is the skeletal remains consisting of a humanoid skull, which has been referred to as the Skull of Mictlanecuhtli the Aztec God of Death, Object 008 was found during a Bureau excavation of the Yucatan Peninsular of what was originally thought to be a Mayan construct in a search for other instances of Crystal Skeletal Remains that have been found by the Bureau in other parts of the Americas.
However evidence uncovered at the site showed that the site was both of Mayan and Aztec origin, with onsite researchers believing that the site was originally used by the Mayans and later used by the Aztecs. The Skull possesses several arcane abilities the most dangerous of which appears to be the power to make people commit ritualistic murder.
Radio Carbon Dating puts the Skull at about 150,000 years old, however it is possible that the Entity that was Object 008 may have been around for much longer before its death.
It is the opinion of the Research Section responsible for Object 008 that the Entity may have been the cause for so many Human Sacrificial beliefs of Homo Sapiens throughout history. Even now scans show that Object 008 emits a strange supernatural energy that is safely contained within its Containment Device.
However for security reasons all personnel involved in the research and guarding of Object 008 are required to undergo regular Psychological evaluation every 7 days to ensure that Object 008 has not influenced them.
As well as this special protocols are in effect where in the event of anyone attempting to approach Object 008 without full Authorisation shall be treated as a threat at will be shot on sight either by Guards or by Automated Gun Turrets.

Object 007 is to be held within a secure class 10 secure container [the size of a football] which can only be accessed with a encrypted code and access key which shall be kept separate at all times for security purposes.
The Container shall be held within a protective energy field that itself can only be shut down with the relevant keys, all of which shall be within a Class 15 secure Containment Vault.
The Vault that holds 007 is to be reinforced with tungsten metal to solidify the structure, the Vault itself shall be housed in a secure section of its housing facility at the heart of an active volcano, the vault shall be surrounded by a constantly burning encirclement of active magma and larva, accessible only via a secure bridge.
The Bridge shall be reinforced with several armed guards and automatic turrets, as an added security for emergencies, in event of a breach, high explosives are strategically placed along the length of the bridge which can be detonated to ensure access to the vault becomes impossible.
In event of any chance of Object 007 being taken, an additional device is placed in a classified position that shall raise the levels of the Magma and Larva in the Volcano heart. If there is any danger of Object 007 being taken then the magma and Larva shall rise to completely envelop the vault entirely.
Any who attempt to remove Object 007 from its containment shall be regarded as a threat and will be shot on sight.
Information:
Object 007 is an item of unknown origins, however there are some certainties that have been identified following extensive study and research.
007 is in itself roughly the same size as a common marble though resembles a miniaturised star similar in appearance to our own Solar Systems Sun. However it possess power similar in greater aspects, it has been anticipated by the Head Researchers of Object 007, that if it is mishandled in any way.
Then there is the immediate possibility that the resulting explosion will be the same as the strike of the KT meteorite that struck the Earth 65 Million years ago. In essence Object 007 can produce an explosion equivalent to 10 billion Hiroshima Bombs.
Quite Literally, Object 007 can produce the same cataclysm that brought about the extinction of the Dinosaurs. It has even been theorised that Object 007 may have been at the heart of the Meteorite that crashed into the Earth 65 Million years ago, however this has yet to be proven.
However one aspect of Object 007 that has proven of worth to the Bureau in its containment, is that 007 is capable of producing the same type of energy which has been directed into the powering of the facility that holds it, thus ensuring that no power shortage can create the opportunity of a Breach.
For medical reasons, all personnel that work in proximity to Object 007 are to undergo routine medical examinations to ensure that any dangers of being in proximity of Object 007 does not present any health hazards to them. All results shall be shared both with Medical sections but also with the Active Research Section responsible for Object 007.

Subject 006 is be held within a secure cell with Tesla Security cages surrounding it, additional Tesla security systems shall be implemented and maintained across the length of the Access corridor to the section that holds the Cell of Subject 006.
The Cell itself is to be air tight with no access beyond the Air tight double cell door. The Cell itself is to be within a secure chamber that itself is to be Negatively Pressurised, allowing air but not out. All systems related to such are to be tested and vetted every 24 hrs.
Each divide shall only be accessible by Tesla Security Gate, that shall be guarded by four selected members of the assigned Garrison, two on either side. These Gates are to be thoroughly examined and checked every 24 hours to ensure their proper function.
Access to the Cell which contains Subject 006 is be absolutely off limits, under no circumstances is anyone to enter the Cell of Subject 006. Access will lead to aggression from Subject 006.
In event of a Breach, the Section that hold the access corridor and Cell shall be evacuated and sealed off, accessible only when the containment of Subject 006 is certified.
Any who attempt to release or enter the Containment Cell of Subject 006 shall be treated as a hostile and will be shot on sight either by Guards or Automated Gun Turrets.
Information:
Subject 006 is a paranormal entity that has a resemblance to a humanoid creature, the upper structure is similar to that of a human, it has two skeletal like arms, a skull structure and upper torso, all of which appears to be very skeletal in nature like a human being that has suffered prolonged starvation.
Subject 006 was found in a research facility that was owned and operated by a hostile organisation, however somehow those responsible underestimated Subject 006s capabilities which enabled it to escape and begin "Feeding". A total of 132 individuals were found within the facility, 112 of which had died, the other 20 are currently under the care of Bureau Medical staff.
All of its body is cloaked in a dark covering similar to cloth and silk, however the further down the body the covering goes the more akin to a dark mist or fog it becomes.
The Subject is unable to speak but does appear to respond to words spoken to it, study of Subject 006 shows that it does not require any sustenance in order to maintain itself and despite its paranormal ability and reputation as the "Soul Eater" the Subject does not seem to require feeding on a soul for sustenance, as it has been decades since the successful capturing of Subject 006.
It is believed by the Researchers that rather than feeding on a soul for nourishment, the Subject instead may be addicted to the taking of a soul or feeding on it. Similar in regards of those who are addicted to Narcotics.
All individuals that have experienced the "Feeding" of Subject 006 continue to live however experience complete loss of individuality and any sense of who they are. One of the Researchers describes it as "They are little more than Husks, they don't who they are, they are just human bodies with no one inside". One of the medical personnel responsible for their care describes at someone suffering from long term medical difficulties such as Alzheimer's or Dementia".
Care of those effected by Subject 006 is ongoing with medical experts and care specialists to be present for the victims at all times. Due to the present Dangers present of Subject 006 all personnel who work in proximity of Subject 006, are to carefully regulated Psychological evaluation every 3 months. Failure to do so shall result in immediate dismissal from the all duties involving Subject 006.

Subject 005 - Son of the Reaper

Subject 005 is to be restricted to a specially designed chamber that shall resemble a Japanese traditional farmstead, this shall include a fully furnished home for comfort, artificial sun light with a system in place to resemble the day/night cycle.
The Chamber shall be surrounded on all sides by Tesla Cage Security systems that shall be examined and tested thoroughly every 7 days for security reasons.
Access to the Chamber and interact with Subject 005 shall be carefully granted for authorised personnel, only those that shall serve a purpose in maintaining the comfort of Subject 005 shall be granted permission.
In event of a breach, the Chamber and access corridor shall be filled with a fast acting aerosol sedative that has been proven to render the Subject unconscious.
All efforts must be made to ensure that the Subject does not become angry or upset for the safety of all personnel involved in care and research of the Subject itself.
Information:
Subject 005 is a supernatural entity known to staff as the Son of the Reaper, as in the Grim Reaper, Subject 005 is approximately 7 years old in human terms and for intent and purposes behaves in the similar manner to a human child of such an age.
The Subjects origins are currently unknown, though medical examination of the Subject proves that the Subject was born in a similar manner of a normal human being and ages in the same respect. It is assumed from evidence found with the Subject as an infant that its mother was human whilst its father was a supernatural entity that has been described by the Research Staff as "The Grim Reaper".
Subject 005 possess the Supernatural ability instil death upon anyone or anything he desires, it can do so by touching whomever it wishes to die at which point whatever has been touched will die within an instant.
In order to ensure proper care as well as to maintain an element of calm for Subject 005, a group of carefully selected individuals who shall include a tutor for the sake of education and even a Surrogate "Mother". As well as this, the House within the Chamber shall include various amenities for psychological health of the subject, such as books, a television and restricted Internet access.
This was decided due to the position of the Bureau and the United Nations Security Council, that although the Subject possess such a dangerous ability, the Subject is still in all regards a human child and shall be treated as such wherever possible.
For security reasons, all personnel who have a direct involvement with Subject 005 are required to undergo constant evaluation to identify their continued ability to work with the Subject. Those who are deemed unfit for the role shall be removed and replaced with another carefully selected and vetted individual.

Object 004 is to be held within full security case within a Tesla cage, inside a class 5 secure Vault which is to be secured by several layers of Tesla Cage security systems.
All security systems are to be examined and maintained every 7 days to ensure proper security is maintained according to protocol.
Access to the Vault is only granted for mainitence purposes to ensure that all security systems are properly maintained and that the structural integrity of the Vault is certified.
Under no circumstances are any permitted to be within 2 metres of the security case that holds Object 004.
Under No Circumstances is anyone to open the security case that hold Object 004 and under absolutely no circumstances is anyone to remove it from the case.
Any who attempt to do so will be treated as a threat and will be shot on sight by Guards or Automated Gun Turrets.
Whenever access to the vault is required, access must be permitted by the designated "Key" holders and whenever any work is being conducted within the Vault a full security team is to be present to ensure that all safety protocols and regulations in regards of Object 004 are upheld.
Information:
Object 004 also known as the "Seal of Solomon" is a Supernatural artifact which possesses various paranormal and supernatural powers within it.
According to the Researchers responsible for Object 004, the ring was originally the property of King Solomon who according to Legend was given the Ring by God. The Ring allowed him to command Demonic creatures from Hell, however other legends state that the Ring was imbued with King Solomon's power to turn anything into pure Gold.
Another Legend suggests that upon the ring is the location of King Solomon's legendary mines which are said to be infinite in their veins of precious metals, including Gold and Silver, as well as the abundance of previous gems which include diamonds.
Object 004 was discovered by the Bureau following examination of various captured records and research documents following the end of the Second world war, its location was identified by the Nazis but were unable to obtain it. The Bureau launched an excavation to find Object 004 in 1950 and successfully uncovered the vault that held Object 004 the following year.
According to the records that were discovered with Object 004, it appears that King Solomon never actually possessed the power to turn anything into Gold himself but instead such a power existed in object 004 which he believed to have been blessed with by God. However it is more likely that he discovered Object 004 and then used its supernatural and paranormal powers to further his own ends.
Though Object 004s power to command Demons has not been properly proven, the Bureau Directors and the United Nations have deemed the threat of such a power to be too dangerous and have ordered that under no circumstances shall anyone be permitted to actively touch, hold or wear Object 004.
All personnel who work in proximity of Object 004 are to undergo constant evaluation to ensure that they are not effected by any possibly psychological dangers presented by Object 004.
Failure to do so will result in Immediate dismissal from that section and will also face Severe Disciplinary Action.

Subject 003 is to be held in an Iron Security cell surrounded by level 1 Tesla Cage security systems with 92 electrical counter measures in event of power failure, all Tesla Systems within the cell must be maintained to 000 standards and be routinely check every 7 days.
Access to the Cell is prohibited and only permitted when the Subject is secure in a Tesla cage secure Ante chamber, examination and mainitence of the Cell must be performed every seven days to ensure structural stability.
A full security team is required whenever access to the Cell is granted, at least three members of said team must maintain direct watch of the Subject until all personnel have egressed from the cell.
Under no circumstances is anyone to approach Subject 003
Any attempt to do so, shall result in Severe Disciplinary Action and possible Dismissal from the section.
Under no circumstances is anyone to ask Subject 003 anything
Any who attempt to do shall be regarded as a threat and will be shot on sight.
In event of a breach, the Cell and the area around it are to be flooded within highly concentrated Liquid Nitrogen and not to be cleared until all security protocols have been followed. And the containment of Subject 003 is confirmed.
Information:
Subject 003 is a creature of Islamic folklore, known as the Djinn, a magical/spiritual entity with supposed magical powers. Contrary to popular belief Djinn do not live in lamps and do no grant Wishes.
Subject 003s primary form appears to be a dried skeletal corpse with sharp claws instead of finger nails and tends to crawl on its hands and knees rather than walking on two feet. The Subject is known to produce a guttural and broken screeching like sound, which is believed to be a means of intimidation.
Subject 003 was discovered during a Bureau lead excavation in an ancient Mesopotamian ruins, the Subject was found within a bell shaped containment made of solid iron. It is theorised that the subject had been sealed away within the Iron bell during early years of the Islamic Golden age.
Evidence of such comes from finds discovered at the site, with proof suggesting that an organisation that existed at the time had managed to capture Subject 003 and locked it away to prevent it from bringing anymore harm.
The Subject possesses supernatural and paranormal abilities, which include the inflicting of terror and fear upon any that it desires, as well as this it is able to turn its form, primarily into sand in the wind, this is believed to be the cause of the legend of the Djinn in Islamic folklore being made of "Smokeless Fire" and "Scorching Winds". It is for this reason that all personnel that work in proximity of Subject 003 are required to undergo constant psychological evaluations every 30 days.
According to the tales and folklore of Islamic tradition, there are many types of Djinn, with the creatures being able to freely choose between good and evil, with stories also suggesting that Djinn had been captured and enslaved by human beings.
From evidence at the site of its discovery, the opinion of the Researchers is that Subject 003 had originally been captured and enslaved by a Mesopotamian King who then locked it away, whether it was then released or broke free is unknown but then during the 8th century an Organisation similar to the Bureau recaptured the Subject and returned it to its prison.
At this time, Additional searches are being conducted to identify any other possible sites that could be housing others similar to Subject 003 as well as any other evidence of the Djinn existing today.

Object 002 is to be held in a secure containment vault, which is itself held within a tesla cage in a secure section of its housing facility.
Under no circumstances are any personnel permitted to enter the Vault or actively interact with Object 002.
Any who attempt to do so shall be treated as a hostile threat and will be shot on sight.
The Object is to be kept at the heart of the Vault chamber on a separate platform surrounded by molten larva, access to the platform is only to be conducted for maintenance, access shall only be capable by a retractable bridge that requires authorisation by the Two Research Leads.
In event of a breach, the Vault is to be sealed and the access corridor is to be flooded with molten larva to ensure access is impossible until the facility is once again secure.
Information:
Object 002 also referred by Researchers as the Hands of Armageddon, is similar in appearance to the famed Mayan Calendar. It is believed that Object 002 is the cause for the creation of the calendar by the Mayans and later the Aztecs.
Examination of materials uncovered during excavations suggest that the Mayans discovered Object 002 during the founding of one of their cities and believed it to be an object of their gods.
However information uncovered in several Bureau excavations have uncovered that even the Mayans were afraid of Object 002 to the point that they attempted to destroy it, believing in doing so they could ensure that the end of the world could be avoided. Such attempts failed and the Mayans decided to throw Object 002 into a deep water filled chasm where none could ever reach it.
Following the collapse of the Mayan Civilisation, the location of Object 002 was lost and was discovered by the Bureau following an investigation into an organisation that has been hostile to the Bureau since its foundation. The Investigation lead to the discovery and raid on a lab being used by this organisation to study Object 002.
According to the research being conducted, the "Hands of Armageddon" is an extra dimensional device that enables the passage between different realties of different universes. However as of yet, the Researchers assigned to the study of Object 002 has yet to identify the danger of Object 002.
However all research captured during the securing of Object 002, indicate that the "Hands of Armageddon" opens a doorway into a dimension that could bring about the destruction of humanity.
As such Object 002 has been placed within the Classification of the Top Ten due to sheer danger that it presents to humanity and the planet.

Subject is to be held at all times in suspended animation, under absolutely no circumstances can the subject be permitted to have a conscious thought, should this be allowed then it shall be almost impossible to stop it.
All systems and suspension drugs must be properly assessed, examined and cleared each day to ensure proper containment of the subject.
In event of a breach, all personnel are to evacuate immediately for their own safety. Tesla Gates are to be sealed and all counter measures are to be activated before the section of the facility is locked off.

Subject 001 has been classified by the Bureau to be by far the most dangerous subject ever encountered by the Bureau as well as Organisations that predated it.
The Subject takes on a human form however it is unknown if this is it actual biological form as at the time of its "Birth" the concept of biological or non biological life had yet to be created with the birth of the Universe.
According to all information and research, the Subject has been dubbed a "Precursor", due in no small part from discussions with the Subject before proper containment. During the interrogation, the subject detailed that they had been around before the Universe even existed.
That they witnessed the "Big Bang" at the beginning of time and were old even then, that they witnessed the birth of every galaxy, every solar system, every star, every planet. That they walked alongside the Dinosaurs and sat back as they went extinct.
Subject 001 is by far the most powerful entity that the Bureau has ever encountered, researchers of Subject 001 believe that the designations of the Bureau, Exterestrial, extra-dimensional, Paranormal, Supernatural etc. Do not include Subject 001 as all such designations require that the Subject, Object and or entity have a connection to the Universe.
Whereas Subject 001 does not, as such the Bureau Researchers responsible for it believe that its powers come from it precursor status. It can simply walk through solid tungsten walls as if it was not there, it can cause an entire building to collapse with a simple click of its fingers and far more.
Following the Subjects safe capture and containment, it was decided that for the sake of all life in the Universe not just Planet Earth, Subject 001 shall be contained in a state of suspended animation, with various specially made medicinal drugs to render it brain dead, thus ensuring that it is unable to construct any conscious thoughts.
