Mass Effect: Task Force Normandy
Being a major fan of the Mass Effect Franchise, constantly playing the Shepard Trilogy and Andromeda over the years, I thought for this N7 day I would release a fan fiction that blends into the over arching story. Based in the Shepard Trilogy, it tells the story of a disgruntled family caught between two ways of thinking alongside a menagerie of friends and associates that to a certain level produce a comedic style.
Please note this is not the entire story, merely its guideline I do plan on one day writing a full series of stories for each of the Shepard Trilogy games, based around these characters. Obviously Spoilers for those who have yet to play the Shepard Trilogy, I will also make clear the games are choice oriented so each play through can be done differently this is just my opinion nothing more.

First lets introduce the Characters

Born on Mars in 2138, the Clerk Family were among the first to properly settle Mars during its early colonisation efforts during the mid to late 21st century. His parents served in two fields, his father was a researcher who primarily worked at the Mars Archives studying in minute detail the various artifacts that are uncovered at the Prothean Ruins or examining with a keen eye the small amounts of detail that can be gleaned from them. His Mother on the other hand worked as a lawyer that primarily focused on settlement policy ensuring that people colonising or settling on Mars weren't facing any legal issues. Richard is the middle child of 3, he has 2 sisters one older the other younger, but Richard wasn't really interested in the efforts of living on a "dust bowl" as he refer Mars to.
His older sister Charlotte or Charlie to her friends and Family (Charlotte to him after a falling out) would study medicine and became a fully qualified doctor by 22, she remained on Mars for a few years until 29 when she moved to Terra Nova and later the Citadel as part of a medical transfer system, where doctors, nurses and other medical personnel would be moved to planets or locations that require a greater need. His younger sister Anne or Annie was regarded as the free love child, constantly getting into trouble mostly with boys, during her teenage years she constantly got into trouble with their parents having to get her out of the legal trouble every time.
He joined the Systems Alliance during its infancy, attended its academy before moving onto the Officer Training Academy where he passed becoming a Lieutenant and got stationed aboard the S.S.V Otago a light cruiser that was tasked with exploring beyond the Sol Relay, around the same time he married his High School sweetheart Eleanor May. Eventually the Otago was placed into a defensive placement over the colony of Shanxi, just in time for humanities first real encounter with Extra-terrestrials in this case the Turians.
The Otago was one of the few armed vessel in proximity when the Turians attacked the ships attempting to activate a nearby Mass Relay. Shanxi was occupied with the Otago putting up an bleak effort to hold back the large Turian forces, the ship was crippled and forced to crash land on the planet, but this didn't stop Miles from keeping up the fight. He organised the survivors of the crash and used the ship as a headquarters for a resistance guerrilla movement, launching hit and run attacks against the Turian Occupation as well as passing along intelligence to the Alliance Fleet. Though during the course of his private war against the Turian Occupation, he was captured during a firefight and wasn't released until the Alliance forces retook the planet.
After the colonies liberation, alongside the Citadel Councils actions to prevent a further escalation to the conflict, Miles was promoted to Commander which was two steps above what he was before the conflict as a Lieutenant. He was sent alongside the Alliances first diplomatic team to the Citadel where he observed the signing of a treaty with the Turian Hierarchy as well as observing the ceremony welcoming humanity aboard the Citadel at the opening of its embassy.
Around this time, Miles came to meet an Asari Commando acting as a bodyguard for the Asari Councillor named Lerylea V'naala the two hit it off and became close friends over the following days that Miles was stuck on the Citadel. Upon his return home, he was awarded a silver star for his efforts during the fighting on Shanxi, but for him he was sadly tasked to a standard patrol duty around Alliance space which had been peaceful ever since the signing of the treaty with the Turians.
Hoping for a challenge he began taking an interest and later a direct involvement with the N7 program, passing to the rank of N6 until his wife Eleanor began to question his determination to become a designated N7 holder. She was growing concerned that his constant drive was putting him in danger without him caring either for his own life or for the knowledge the pain would be caused onto their children should he die. Despite this, without telling her, he undertook the N7 trials and passed, but decided to remain with the Alliance Fleet. But his taking of the N7 course was the final straw and Eleanor took their children and left, worse still his time in the trials meant he missed his parents passing and their funeral. Miles fell into a depression and accepted a posting on the Citadel as a military attaché to the Alliance Ambassador. During his time here he started seeing Lerylea or Lea as he affectionately called her and a year later the two started a proper relationship, which drove a wedge between him and his children.
It was during this time however of him undertaking the N7 trials as well as the aftermath, that he came to meet several individuals that he would come to call his friends. One of them was one David Anderson who would go on to become Humanities councillor for the Citadel and then an Admiral for the Alliance, the two of them became good friends over the years each trusting the other with information even when they weren't supposed to be. The second person he came to meet was a young up and coming soldier named John Shepard who Miles knew straight away would show great promise.
He was later recalled to the Alliance Fleet when the Batarians began attacking Human colonies outright due to the Citadels favouritism towards the humans. Miles was promoted to the rank of Captain and given command of the Razor Class light Cruiser SSV Yorktown, his orders to perform localised patrols around the Colonies most at risk of Batarian Attack. During one such patrol he received word that the Colony of Elysium had come under attack, being close by he immediately ordered the Yorktown to move to defend the people on the planet.
After a bitter fight with pirates and raiders in orbit, Miles lead a battalion of Marines down to reinforce the Alliance Defenders. Upon their arrival they discovered that a single man had held back the main assault all by himself, the man was none other than John Shepard. After ensuring the colonies security, Miles sent word to Alliance Command recommending Shepard for a promotion, as well as putting in for the Star of Terra, the highest award for valour in the Alliance military.
The next few years proved more troublesome again for Miles as peace had managed to be earned following the defeat of the Batarians and their isolationism from the rest of the galaxy. But eventually the Alliance and the Turians began a joint mission for the creation of a brand new type of vessel specifically a stealth craft, the first of which was the SSV Normandy commanded by Captain Anderson.
Miles for his hard work in service of the Alliance over the years was given command of one of the Normandy's sister ships the SSV Jutland. However a minor issue meant that the Jutland was unable to join the Normandy on its maiden voyage to Eden Prime, but Miles was informed of the true reason behind the mission. After learning of the attack on Eden Prime however and the subsequent investigation on who committed it, Miles was ordered to the Citadel. Here he once again met up with Shepard and Anderson who were at the centre of it all, after Shepard unofficial investigation into Rogue Turian Spectre Saren. He was accepted into the Spectres, the elite force that serves as the Right arm of the Citadel Council, Shepard was given command of the Normandy and told to hunt Saren and his Geth Down.
Miles offered to go in support which was agreed on, since no one knew exactly how many Geth, Saren had managed to convince to his cause. For the following weeks, the Jutland followed the Normandy on its missions across the Attican Traverse, providing support when possible, primarily in the form of reinforcements and air support.
When Shepard however went Rogue with the Normandy to chase Saren into the Terminus Systems against the Councils orders. Miles was ordered by the Alliance to go after him, however due to "technical troubles" with their Drive Core they were forced to remain at Arcturus Station. Following the battle of the Citadel during which Miles suffered an blast injury to his side from a Geth Fighter. Miles aided Captain Anderson in the search for Shepard in the rubble of the Citadel Tower and later supported Shepard in his argument of the Galaxy need to be ready against the Reapers.
For his role in both the hunt for Saren and the battle for the Citadel, he was given a new promotion to the rank of Rear Admiral and given command of a heavy Cruiser. After the Normandy was attacked and destroyed by the Collectors, Miles felt broken as Shepard was a good, trusted, close friend. But two years later word came that Shepard was indeed alive and still fighting, though wanting to aid his friend in the fight against the Collectors, the Alliance refused as did the Council. But in secret Miles would support his old friend and the Normandy SR2 during its mission by secretly passing along information and supplies from people he trusted.
In the aftermath of the Collectors defeat and Shepard's involvement in the Incident in the Bahak System where Shepard was forced to drive an Asteroid into the systems Mass Relay to prevent the Reapers from returning. Which sadly resulted in the Batarian colony in the system being wiped out when the Mass Relay was destroyed, Shepard feeling guilty surrendered himself to the Alliance after dropping off members of his crew.
Miles would find himself stationed on the Citadel despite the constant worry that his friend was going to be court martialled, though he did inform the admiralty that if that happened he would readily stand in favour of Commander Shepard. Wanting to keep himself busy in the mean time, he volunteered to lead an investigation of a strange occurrence on a planet being earmarked for Terraforming. There he and his investigation team discovered a strange vessel that appeared to have crashed.
Then of course the Reaper Invasion began and Earth was hit hard during the opening Assault, with the complete loss of the Sol System, Miles was gutted when news came that Reapers had landed on Mars. Believing that his sisters and more importantly his Daughter was there, such fears were alleviated when he got found them on the Citadel. Upon Shepard's official reinstatement both into the Alliance Military and the Council Spectres, Rear Admiral Miles Clerk was given a new posting.
He was given command of the SSV Isaac Newton, a Sagan Class Carrier. Though instead of just playing host to fighter craft, the vessel was swiftly retrofitted to serve as a mobile command and training centre for Allied Special Forces, which Miles would command in support of Commander Shepard and the Normandy SR2. Even its drive core system was hurriedly refitted to make it partly stealth capable, though it couldn't last as long as the Normandy it could still move in secret for short periods of time.
Miles would command from the bridge of the Newton as Shepard conducted missions of all kinds in support of the War Effort, such as the Rescuing of the Turian Primarch from the moon of Menae, investigating and then countering Cerberus attack and occupation of Eden Prime, countering a Cerberus attack on the Salarian home world. And countless other missions during the course of the war.
Miles has a strong sense of respect for Shepard as he is the only person who not only challenged him but also had the "Balls" to ask a very important question. On one occasion following the Skyillian Blitz, Shepard had asked him.
"Are you a friend of Bill's".
Charlotte "Charlie" Clerk:

Oldest child in the Clerk sibling trio, she was born on Mars in 2135, the Clerk Family were among the first to properly settle Mars during its early colonisation efforts. Charlie however had a keen interest in the study of medicine even from an early age, her favourite game growing up was playing doctor. When she began her studies she carefully examined each course and class that she would require for her dream job of becoming a doctor, upon her graduation she was readily admitted into the top Medical School on Earth where she flew through her studies with a fervour never before seen.After achieving her Doctorate in Medicine she was asked by the Alliance to take part in a special medical program for the Alliance. This program wasn't in direct service of the Systems Alliance but was meant to serve as emergency medical support, should for example a colony suffer an outbreak of a pathogen then the Medical Support Program or M.S.P would go there to assist. Later on she was posted to Shanxi following the conclusion of the First Contact War her efforts in helping the wounded civilians and military personnel proved a great help as was her experience in the field hospitals.
She was later posted to the Citadel when the M.S.P was formally recognised by the Citadel Council after the Alliance formerly relinquished direct control. The M.S.P would serve as a galactic aid group similar to Earths Doctors Without Borders, no longer was it held under the authority of the Systems Alliance but the Citadel Council. Again she found her work amazing as now she was travelling across countless worlds that sat within Citadel Space, from Asari, to Turian, to Salarian even a few Krogan, she would rapidly learn to provide medical aid to them all.
Throughout it all though she often returned home to visit her parents and often saw her sister Annie on the Citadel where the two would either have a dinner out or a festive night of drinking and fun. But she had a major falling out with her younger brother Miles after he joined the Alliance Navy and never looked back, she found it disgraceful that even as he rose in the ranks he never once visited home even on special occasions instead sending only messages. This turned to outright hatred following their parents passing where Miles didn't even come to the Funeral, not believing the "Excuse" he produced she refused to speak to him for years.
She would lead a medical team to Elysium following the Batarians attack on the colony where she once again met her Brother and his friend Shepard. Though she showed respect for Shepard for being a hero, she declared that her brother and the Alliance was falling short in defending itself.
Later on she would take a new team to Eden Prime to help the survivors of the Geth Attack and due to the damage was forced to stay there for several weeks helping in the care of the injured. After Sarens attack on the Citadel however she would quickly return to again try and help people who had been hurt, again she found herself meeting her brother who was recovering from an injury to his side, recognising that he needed help she began to help in his recovery and started to talk to him properly. He explained why he was so driven to become an N7, how he felt it was the only way for their parents to be proud of him. Something for his children to look up to and say "He's my dad", but she made it very clear that he didn't need any of that.
The two are still on uneven ground (Metaphorically) but are on the road to rebuilding their siblinghood, with Miles even introducing her to Lea. At first she felt a little angry at the fact that her brother seemed to be forgetting his children, it was made clear by Miles that they had all met her already and were at least happy for him.
After the emergence of the Reapers, Charlie would remain on the Citadel using the M.S.P to try and help the refugees who were constantly arriving on the Citadel seeking sanctuary aboard the station. She often spent much of her time in the refugee camps on the Docks, providing assistance to the medical personnel take care of the sick and wounded. She would sometimes catch Shepard visiting as well as he tried to help people when he could as he always did.
Anne "Annie" Clerk:

The Youngest of the Clerk Sibling Trio being born 2142, Anne or Annie to her friends is the youngest of the Clerk sibling trio and the one with the most history in courts of law. From a young age Annie would constantly get herself into trouble often in an effort to impress her friends or the boys she liked, these ranged from simple things such as ditching school to more criminal acts like shoplifting.
At first she would constantly be watched over by her parents who either called in favours or used the legal system to ensure she did not go to prison. However this only made matters worse for her, as she would think that she was free of the consequences, when she started to travel in her 20s following the first contact war, she was caught by an Systems Alliance vessel smuggling red sand towards the Citadel, one of the officers on that vessel was her own Brother Miles.Thinking she was going to once again get off scot free, she was sorely disappointed when Miles removed himself from the investigation due to personal involvement. Following this she was sentenced to 3 months imprisonment which severely damaged the relationship between her and Miles, Annie would receive visits from Charlie and her parents during her time in prison. Though it can be said that she had it easy being sent to a "White Collar Prison".
Upon her release she moved to the Citadel at her Parents request primarily so that Charlie could keep an eye on her and make sure that she stays out of trouble. Which for the most part she did, she took a job serving drinks at the Purgatory club, despite it being a bit of a drag for her at first Annie quickly began to enjoy the constant music and cheer that was present each day and night. Each week she would go out with her sister Charlie whether it be a simple lunch out, or dinner even a night out partying, as said Charlie was expected to keep and eye on her sister.
Though there were occasions when the three would meet up on the Citadel, there was always a level of tension between them, Charlie hating her Brother for never being there for the family and Annie not willing to forgive her big brother for letting her get arrested. As a means of getting back her brother, Annie maintains a close friendship with Eleanor May, Miles's ex wife and mother to his two children, though the two are indeed friends, it originally started as a means of pissing him off. Following the Attack on Eden Prime and Miles's involvement in the pursuit of Saren, she began to treat her brother with a little more concern and care. Especially as his ship the Jutland was hit by a Geth Fighter during the battle of the Citadel, Annie who had managed to avoid the worst of the fighting visited him in hospital during his recovery, where the two finally managed to let go of their old animosities.
Upon the outbreak of the Reaper war, Annie who was still living on the Citadel began to join her sister in her off hours helping people in the refugee camps. Though she did help in the camps infirmaries she primarily helped by ensuring that food and water was distributed to those who needed it.
Eleanor May - Formerly Eleanor Clerk:

The High School sweet heart of Miles Clerk born in the same year and same month, the two of them were a "Hot Item" during their teenage years together at school and later into college. Whilst Miles had the wish of joining the Alliance and becoming an Officer, she had a more modest goal of becoming an designer, with a focus on artistry in the home place. She studied art and architecture, whilst also taking an internship for a architectural firm on Mars, which worked to make both homes and facilities on Mars a little more homely for the people living there.
After they both graduated and began to take a keener interest with their long term goals, though before his first assignment to a ship he properly married Eleanor as he promised. For a number of months the two maintained a constant connection through private messages which ensured they maintained their relationship, though some say that some elements of their correspondence were a little more than what they claimed.Concerns were present however following the occupation of Shanxi by the Turians, knowing that Miles was aboard the Otago which was situated above Shanxi fears gripped her that she had lost him, which was only made worse when she learned that the Otago had crashed on the planet. But when news came of the Colonies liberation by an Alliance fleet spread across human space, along with the news that Alliance soldiers and sailors stranded on Shanxi had kept up the fight against the aliens. Eleanor knew straight away who would be stubborn enough to not give so easily after crashing on a planet.
The two were happily married and went on to have two children a son and a daughter, though the previously lovesick nature of their relationship swiftly changed as Miles pursued an interest in becoming an N7. At first she had a wish for him to succeed, but as things got worse and worse with the various trials expected to become the different N classes she grew more concerned that her husband was pushing himself to an early grave. Against her wishes and without her knowledge Miles undertook the N7 trials and passed with some difficulty,
Feeling that Miles was not appreciative of his own life as well as those who cared for him a great deal, she believed that his stubborn nature was going to take to an early grave and he didn't seem to care for the loss their family would suffer. After a heated argument she took their two children and left, never looking back in 2172, ever since the two have had barely any contact with most talks being an interest on the wellbeing of their children.
Eleanor decided to move to the Citadel following the children leaving home and starting their own lives and careers. Once there she opened her own Designer Firm, "Vita Aeterna Designs" meaning Eternal Life, after the love of making things that people would enjoy for the rest of their lives. Her firm soon began to grow from the wards and onto the Presidium, with it even being contracted to perform a redesign for the Asari Councillors Offices. It was here that she met her ex husband again with his new "Friend" Lerylea, though the two acted with respect to one another and spoke with candour for anyone who actually knew them, it was clear that they were still had some resentment for the other.
She often finds time when her Children come to visit, often this means going out for a family dinner at one of the presidiums first class restaurants. Eventually she invited their father so that he might introduce his new "Friend" and she could do the same, though they all gave some looks to one another as well as Miles, the dinner ended with some peace in the family as it was showing that the parents had moved on and were starting to accept the others happiness. Miles was happy that Eleanor had found someone she could be with, whilst Eleanor was happy that Miles had found a kindred spirit so to speak.
Following the attack of Saren and the Geth on the Citadel, Eleanor found her designer firm being chosen to undertake the task of designing the rebuilding of the Presidium following the damage done by the invading Geth forces and the battle between Sovereign and the Alliance Fleets. She took to the work with a fervour as she found it the opportunity to make some changes to the Presidium making it more welcoming to other species, she made changes to simple things like stairs.
During this time, Eleanor finally put aside her grievances with her Ex Husband, knowing that Miles had been working hard to try and prevent the attack by Saren alongside their friend Shepard. Even visiting him in Hospital when she learned that he had suffered injuries during the battle for the Citadel, which started the slow process of the pair being able to become good friends rather than former spouses.
When the Reapers entered the galaxy and launched their attack, Eleanor found herself a little lost whilst her children all had something that could be some help for the war effort. She didn't really know how to use her skill in designing and architecture to be of any use against something like the Reapers, but Miles managed to convince her that she could be of some use. On the one hand she could use her skills in designing structures and building planning, to be used in the manner of planning and designing defensive lines for the planets under attack or worlds that have yet to be attacked but will be soon.
At the same time should they win then the galaxy would need help in rebuilding, her knowledge could aid the Allied species in understanding the different areas that would be required for a successful rebuilding process.

The oldest of Miles Clerk's children, Edward, Ed to his friends was born in 2159 whilst his father was away serving the Alliance following the First Contact War. Whilst Miles was on the Citadel acting as the military Attaché for the diplomats meeting there, Edward came into a galaxy that was about to change a great deal.
From a young age he had the hopes of becoming an officer himself only instead of being a navy man he wanted to sign on with Systems Alliance Marines. His father had hopes and encouraged him to follow his dreams as long as he remembered the sacrifices he would be making in the process. When his little sister was born though Edward began to shift his priorities, instead of pushing hard on his studies and academic future. He started instead to become more and more focused on looking out for his baby sister who was often the target of bullies for her odd demeanour.
It was around the time of his graduation from higher education on the Citadel that his parents divorced and went their own ways. Edward would have liked to see his parents get back together but after upon seeing his mom going on dates with other people knew that such a chance was long past. At 18 he would join the Systems Alliance Marines and passed basic training with a profession for observation, Edward was sent to serve in a unit meant to protect an important Mass Relay following the Skyllian Blitz a year prior, a relay that connected Alliance to Batarian Space.It was around here that he encountered his father after years without any real interaction beyond messages and talks between friends and family. The two managed to renew some element of a father son relationship after Miles explained the reasoning behind him and Edwards mother separating and then divorcing. Though for the most part this interaction between them mostly involved Miles passing along information he had on regards of his sons mission to maintain a watch on the relay, he marked out key locations for his unit to establish themselves where they could observe ships coming and going without being spotted.
Edward would remain at this clandestine station maintaining a constant overwatch on the relay and alongside the rest of his Scout Recon Unit would take detailed information on any and all ships using it. But then the attack on Eden Prime shifted the Admiralties priorities and ordered the unit be replaced by standard Alliance Marines as Edwards unit were being tasked to look for the Geth within the Attican Traverse. It was his unit that discovered a series of Geth Outposts within the Armstrong Cluster and relayed it on to the Admiral Hackett who in turn passed it on to Commander Shepard and Edwards own father.
The Unit was then ordered to aid in Alliance operations against a group of rogue soldiers and scientists that referred to themselves as Cerberus. Following a unofficial investigation by Admiral Kahoku and later Commander Shepard, several Cerberus labs were uncovered that were everything from Husks to Rachni to the creature known as the Thorian from Feros. Thanks to the Scout Recon Unit he was a member of, the Alliance managed to take down a number of other Cerberus cells and bases within their region of space.
Following the battle for the Citadel, Edward would request temporary leave to ensure that his family were safe. He met up with everyone and felt a level of relief that gave him peace despite the chaotic appearance that was most of the Presidium and the Wards. Though his temporary leave was as named, temporary, he was given only 3 days to make sure that everyone was safe after which he was expected to return to his unit and assist in the hunting of any Geth still operating within the Citadel Space.
But following the so called victory against the Geth, the Unit was shut down, as the Alliance no longer believed they were required in this time of "Peace". So despite their best attempts, Ed was given an honourable discharge from the Alliance Marines, feeling upset and disgraced for all the hard work they had put into their efforts on behalf of the Alliance and the Council. The unit eventually ended up being recruited by Cerberus with Ed going along as well, they performed nothing extreme or dangerous, they primarily worked as a security force for clandestine facilities that Cerberus was using.
Then came the downfall of the Collectors, when Ed and some other members of the unit learned what the Collectors were doing and that Cerberus was wanting to use the technology for its own gains. They became disillusioned and surrendered to the Alliance, together they provided evidence and testimony that enabled the Citadel council to take down several previously unknown Cerberus bases in Citadel space. For this they were not sent for court martial by the Alliance but instead placed under house arrest until a decision could be made.
But that never came as the Reapers began their invasion and every able bodied soldier was needed, NOTICE: All other information deemed classified under direct order of Admiral Hackett of the Systems Alliance Navy. You are not cleared for access.
Official Records:
Edward Clerk is currently serving in a special recon unit that maintains a close observation of Reaper Forces that are pushing outwards from the Direction of Earth. However following the inclusion of Cerberus into the war, the unit was instead tasked with locating and maintaining recon of known and previously unknown Cerberus bases and strongholds.

The second child of Miles and Eleanor, Emma was born in 2163 with a keen mind and a interest in the past, she grew up with a constant wish to become a scientist and researcher notably on the Protheans who at the time were believed to be the builders of the Citadel and the Mass Relays. During her years of growth, she was often the target for bullies who found her constant desire to read and study made her an easy target for their teasing.
Even though her brother would always look out for her when he could the constant harassment would continue when he wasn't around. And when he graduated the bullying began in earnest but only until one day when Eleanor was called to the Principals office, thinking that Emma had been harmed she rushed in to find two of the bullies with black eyes or bloody noses. It turned out that Emma had stood up her bullies, when asking where she had learned such behaviour, Emma admitted that it was her father who had told her that her unwillingness to fight back is what makes her an easy target for them and if she wanted them to stop then she had to show she was willing to fight back.
However eventually this affection for her father came a swift and sudden end when her parents separated and eventually divorced, she stood by her mother in the argument between the two parents. She believed that her mother was willing to work to properly care for the family whilst her father seemed only to care for his career in the military to the point that she legally took her mothers name when she turned 18. The two would not properly speak to one another for years to follow, even when they did see each other the level of tension between them was evident as Emma attempted to avoid speaking to him whenever possible.
She would eventually achieve at least partly her dream of studying the Protheans when she was accepted for the position of a research assistant at the Mars Archives where the Systems Alliance and Council researchers studied a Prothean outpost and all the artifacts including a large beacon like object. Her insites gave the research team a new manner of looking at the Prothean relics they unearthed, for she had recommended that instead of trying to decipher the Prothean Language that instead the researchers should look for similarities in the languages of the different species of the milky way. She pointed out that several species had Prothean influence, such as the Hanar who worshipped the Protheans and as such their language at least partly could have Prothean similarities within it.
When she learned of a new discovery on Eden Prime she was swift to try and go be part of the team to study and transport it, but was soundly refused due to the secrecy behind the discovered artifact. But as the news of a Geth attack on Eden Prime began to swiftly spread, she considered herself very grateful not having gone with the research team. This was later reinforced when she received a message from her father, practically begging her to take some time off and stay away from anything to do with the Protheans at least until Saren was caught or killed.
Reluctantly she agreed but only because her mother insisted that she listen her father, Emma took temporary leave to stay with her mother on the Citadel until the "Crisis" was over. But later returned to Mars when the Council decided that the hunt was over as they had amassed a fleet to defend the Citadel should Saren decide to Attack, this turned out to be a good thing as she wasn't present when Sovereign lead an assault whilst Saren took Geth through a secret back door into the Citadel Tower. Due to her mother being there once the fighting was over Emma was given a second permit to leave her work on compassionate grounds, she stayed on the Citadel for three weeks until her mom assured her that everything was alright and she could go back to work.
One side effect of her time away from work however was that Emma was finally forced to come to terms with her father, her Mom insisted that for her own sake that she should talk to him. For the next two years the pair would maintain some contact primarily through video recordings and private messages being sent through official channels, though the tension was still ever present. Because as someone would later say, whenever Emma was reading a private message from her dad the moment she felt that he was asking for her forgiveness she would instantly turn it off.
When the Reaper invasion came, Emma was slightly fortunate as she was not on duty at the Prothean Archives on Mars, having been sent off to a different dig site just before the news broke. She attempted to contact the Archives but no reply came, fearing what was happening she begged for the Alliance Marines that acted as security to help her in going back and making sure everything was alright. But they already had their orders, they were to evacuate who they could before the Reapers took total control of the system.
Emma was forced onto an evacuation ship and taken straight to the Citadel.
Upon her arrival she found her mom and brother who were just so happy that she was safe, but the mood changed when she heard her dads voice behind her. Not sure what to do, she could only watch as she suddenly felt her dad break down and grab her tightly in a solid embrace. She cried with him.
Emma would later offer her services to Admiral Hackett when she learned through her father that the Alliance was building a Prothean Device of some kind, a weapon that they believed would defeat the Reapers completely and utterly. She would be tasked to work on Project Crucible aiding in the understanding of the different pieces of Prothean schematics and the language used in the Data, she also worked with Dr Liara T'soni in trying to figure out the meaning of the much needed "Catalyst".
But throughout it all she would keep in close contact with not only her Mom and Brother, but also her Dad who she knew was going to the front lines more than anyone else she knew.

Born in 1874 during the days in which humanity was beginning to enhance their industrial powers, with the expansion of vast Empires from Europe. Lerylea or Lea to her friends, was born on Thessia the Asari homeworld, her mother being a respected Matriarch of the Asari Republics and her Father being a now long deceased Turian.
Lerylea was given some of the best education available on Thessia, attending some of the finest and most prestigious universities and Academies. However she despised her mothers controlling nature, wanting to control what was her future and destiny, so at the first opportunity Lea broke away from the path her mother had put her on and went away from the politics. She instead began to learn how to fight over any other area of focus, her wish was to become the best possible fighter both with Biotics and with weapons.
She was seen training by a leading military leader of the Asari Republics who recruited Lea into a specialised Commando unit, who were focused on the hunting of criminals across Citadel Space. She left Thessia and never looked back, Lea and the Commandos of her unit were successful in their missions in the hunting of criminal elements, they successfully took down several branches of the Blue Suns and Eclipse criminal syndicates. However things would rapidly change when she had a drunken one night stand with a Quarian, she would later learn that in her drunkenness she had melded her mind and was pregnant.
This threw out her plans for the future as she found that despite her own wishes for the future she couldn't just get rid of the child. A few months later her daughter Jeis was born and the sight of her little girl changed Lea completely, she decided then and there she would be a better mom than her own was, she would let Jeis find her own path forward. Knowing she was responsible for Jeis, Lea requested a transfer to security on the Citadel, she was accepted as part of the Asari Councillors protection detail.
For the years to follow she remained loving and caring, strict when necessary but never controlling, she never allowed her wishes to be pushed onto Jeis. Though she would voice her opinion and her thoughts, every option was open regardless of her ideas.
Later in life, Lea was acting as the bodyguard for the Asari Councillor when the Humans came onto the scene, she was present when the Turian and Asari Councillors met with the human delegation for the signing of the official peace between Earth and Palaven. It was here that she would meet Miles Clerk and the two over the coming months would become good friends with each laughing at the others exploits that were their lives. When Miles and Eleanor divorced, Lea found Miles in a bar drunk beyond comparison, feeling sorry for him, she helped to his feet and got him out of the bar to try and sober him up, to the point that she pushed him into a presidium fountain.
Eventually the two would begin seeing each other on a regular basis as Miles became a military attaché for the Systems Alliance Embassy. Often meeting for lunch or at festive gatherings hosted by the different ambassadors or Councillors, eventually they began a proper relationship with Miles formally asking Lea on a date, which she accepted joking obviously that it took him long enough to ask.
For the years that followed the two maintained a loving relationship with both sides introducing their respective loved ones to the other, though the pair have always agreed that although they are firmly together the thought of marriage is off the table. They are in essence married in all but name, they have a shared apartment in the Tiberius Towers on the Silversun Strip on the Citadel, they lived together whenever possible of course, spent most of their time together, but just were not legally a married couple.
During the attack on the Citadel by Sovereign and Saren, Lea did her duty by ensuring that the Asari Councillor was safely evacuated to the Asari Dreadnought Destiny Ascension. Which came under heavy fire until Shepard opened the Mass Relays and allowed the Alliance Fleets to save the near crippled ship. When they finally came back upon the Citadel, she learned that Shepard was missing and that Miles was helping the search. After their friend was found, Lea all but dragged Miles to see his injuries attended too, with the pair getting out of the Hospital to witness Humanity being invited into the Citadel Council as a full member and Shepard's warning of the Reapers coming.
She would accompany Miles when word came of Shepard's death, though she knew that Miles didn't believe it she went with him to the memorial as his body was never truly found. She made sure that Miles was protected following the loss of a good friend as she was afraid that he would begin to fall into old habits, she went with him to "gatherings" to make sure he remained "safe".
Things changed when Shepard was discovered to be alive and still in the fight, she watched as Miles got better and better mentally speaking of course. When Shepard surrendered himself to the Alliance following the disaster of the Bahak System and the destruction of its Mass Relay by Shepard, she stood by Miles as they watched him be carted off back to Earth for "Trial". But after months of waiting no word came of any court martial taking place in regards of their old friend.
Then of course came the Reapers, when Earth fell, the Citadel races were in shock and terror none of them knew what to do. The Asari decided to focus on the defence of their own worlds rather than come to the aid of the Humans, something that Lea tried to counter saying that only together could they stand a chance. But her arguments fell on deaf ears, so she remained standing guard and protecting the Asari Councillor on the Citadel watching the constant stream of refugees coming to the station in search of safety as well as the ever updating list of the dead and missing that was being displayed for those with access to see.
When Cerberus attempted a coup on the Citadel, Lea was caught off guard, she was not on duty at the time of the attacks and was unable to get to the Councillor she was to protect. Not knowing where the Council members were, she decided to link up with surviving elements of C-SEC and help them in retaking control of the station, when she learned through a new communication channel that C-SEC had managed to retake their headquarters she made her way there as quick as she could.
Upon her arrival she was greeted by Allied forces from the SSV Isaac Newton, with her man commanding their efforts in retaking the station. Without any words the pair held each other until the matters at hand were more importantly made clear, Lea re-joined the Asari Councillor and continued to watch over her until the last of the Cerberus forces were driven off the station. Following this attack however, the Asari pledged their support for the growing alliance being formed by the Humans and more specifically Commander Shepard. Lea was sent to the Isaac Newton to act as a the Attaché between them and the Asari and later was put in charge of a Asari Commando unit onboard.

Born 2050, Jeis more commonly known as Jess is the daughter of the Lerylea V'naala and an unknown Quarian father, Jess was born and raised on the Citadel where from a young age she got up to all kinds of trouble, most of which involved something technical. She was arrested by C-SEC for hacking several systems, including one an automated system that sold alcoholic beverages when she was underaged, hacked the private messages of a politician who turned out to be taking bribes, performed a technical bypass that enabled her to enter a secure area.
And the list goes on, but since she never went far enough to cause extensive trouble, Jess never went to jail, if anything she was constantly slated for community service sorting out the problems she made. Since every act she committed actually exposed errors and faults with the systems involved, so she was able to get out of going to prison by offering to plug the holes in the problem. When she was old enough she signed up for an advanced technical course at a university on the Citadel, though she was later expelled because she had a tendency to show off.
The final straw for the university faculty was when she hacked into her own professors private server and gained access to his personal files. The same files that detailed which students he showed favouritism for and those that he felt were "Not Worthy to be in this University", which she then displayed for the whole campus to see. But her skills were recognised by C-SEC, who after her expulsion offered a place at their Academy, she accepted and began her training with a focus again on technical and cyber crime.
A strange boom to her new line of work lead to her seeing her mother on a somewhat irregular basis at her place of work. Now to be clear neither Lea nor Jess had any kind of difficulty between them, Lea loved her daughter unconditionally and never attempted to be any form of controlling, whilst Jess had the same love and immense respect for her mother and her determination. When her mom began a relationship with Miles Clerk, she was actually rather happy because she saw just how much her mom had changed. Instead of being reserved and private, she was becoming more open and inclusive, which was only proven when she was introduced to Miles and later his own children. Despite any issues between parents, Jess forged a friendship with the Clerk Children, Ed and Emma who over the years would meet up and share laughs and stories.
She was part of the investigative team following the Systems Alliance accusation against him that he was responsible for the attack on Eden Prime. However due to his Spectre Status, it meant that everything involving him was classified beyond her and the other investigators reach, she did make it known that she could do more if no one was looking of course, but when her supervisor declared that they would do everyone a favour and believe she was joking that she was going to hack into the Spectre files. She made it very clear that it was a joke.
Following the attack by Saren and Sovereign on the Citadel, Jess was tasked with improving the Citadel network security and defence. Which she found exceedingly hard, since the Council believed that the threat was now over and done with, the Geth were now on the run and were being hunted by Citadel fleets. Meant more often than not she was forced to sit behind a desk going through lines of code day in and day out rather than actually fixing any problems. It got so bad that she put in a formal complaint to her superiors which was ignored, feeling that she had no other option, she handed in her immediate notice and left C-SEC apparently "Flipping the Bird" the whole time, the majority of her colleagues were said to have clapped the whole time she did so.
After leaving C-SEC she started her own technical and cyber company with her Moms and Miles's backing, it started from a spare room at their apartment before she was able to earn enough to get her own place again and later a proper office. Her private company was focused on the matters that the Citadel refused to address, minor errors in various systems that the Geth used to overcome the stations defences or even turn them against the defenders. As well as providing a technical and cyber service for various clients on the Citadel wards.
When the Reapers launched their invasion of the Milky Way, Jess decided she couldn't just sit back and watch, she offered her services to C-SEC once again to fix various issues that she had made known when she worked for them. Since the galaxy was at war and the Citadel needed to be ready, C-SEC agreed and she immediately got to work, she cleaned up various faults and problems with the security systems around the wards, constructed a system for C-SEC to keep track of people in the Refugee camps and more.
When Cerberus launched their attempted coup, Jess snuck through the Presidium to get to C-SEC headquarters, knowing full well that without it they wouldn't have a chance. She arrived just after Shepard aided in retaking the location, with Commander Baileys authorisation, she was able to set up a new encrypted communications channel for C-SEC to use so they could co-ordinate their efforts in retaking the station. She later helped C-SEC refit their security systems for emergencies as well as finished patching up any and all holes with the Citadels network. When Miles informed her of the Crucible project, she wanted to sign on, Admiral Hackett allowed it and Jess was taken to the secret location where the project was being Constructed.
Through out it all she still tried to help the Citadel partly thanks to Shepard getting his hands on pieces of tech, such as Cerberus Codes, Turret Schematics and even Geth jamming tech. But her pride and joy was working with her Best Friend Emma Clerk in adapting the Prothean schematics and technologies into their own for the Crucible.
Avius Paetdonis:

Born on Palaven in 2140, Avius Paetdonis grew up in the strong hierarchal structure and sense of duty that all Turians are born and raised in. The younger of three siblings, two brothers and a sister, Avius would always looked up to his oldest brother Calius, though such would come to an end when his brother was involved in the occupation of Shanxi where he was killed by Alliance resistance fighters.
Avius held a deep distrust and mistrust for humanity for years following this, wanting to live up to his brothers legacy, Avius worked all the more harder to become the best he could possibly be. He served in various campaigns against criminal elements as well as peace keeping task forces to troubled worlds within Citadel Space, however for the most part he was relegated to serving as ships security on a number of vessels in the Turian Fleet. Though this did not stop him, during his down time he trained vigorously and pushed himself when possible, practicing with different weapons and various methods of combat.
It was here that he grew intrigued with the Armiger Legion, an elite force of Turian soldiers who used jet packs to perform quick insertions into hostile areas where shuttles could not land. As soon as he could he made an official transfer request into the Legion, due to his exemplary record and testimony from others he had served with, he was accepted into the 26th. Around this time, the Eden Prime attack occurred and the 26th were called up in response to the attack, at that precise time the Council believed the Geth were responsible for the attack and feared that Eden Prime was the precursor for a much larger conflict.Thankfully this was proven false, when evidence showed the Saren was responsible for leading the Geth in the attack, the 26th were stood down but placed on a readiness status until the threat of the Geth could be eliminated. Avius was forced to sit back and watch until the Citadel finally decided to start taking more action, the 26th was dispatched to the Attican Traverse to aid in the hunting of Geth units across the region, however since most the Turian Fleet was already stationed at various Mass Relays, it was down instead to human ships to transport them.
Avius now a lieutenant found himself with a small unit of soldiers onboard the SSV Jutland under the direct command of a human officer, Captain Miles Clerk. At first Avius put in numerous demands for transfer, as he made numerous remarks of how he felt disgraced to be serving onboard a human vessel and having to take orders from a human. Such opinions came to an end however following the battle on Virmire, where Avius aided the ground teams lead by Captain Kirrahe and Lieutenant Kaidan Alenko in distracting Geth forces from Shepard's infiltration team. Following their safe extraction, Avius started to show a greater level of respect for the humans onboard, he no longer shunned them as he once did.
Eventually he was able to apologise to Miles Clerk the Captain of the ship for his behaviour in regards to the ships crew, Miles understanding made clear that Avius had no reason to apologise. If anything he was the one who was sorry as it was his actions on Shanxi that lead to his brothers death, but Avius noted that dying for his people and upholding his duty was a good death that his brother would have wanted. Over the coming weeks and then months, the two would forge a friendship which would make duties aboard the Jutland more agreeable for everyone, in fact the pair insisted that the two races work closer together in the handling of the ships day to day activities.
When the Normandy was destroyed, the task force hunting the Geth came a slow end, with the Jutland being decommissioned from service. Avius returned to Palaven with his section of the 26th Armigers to report for a new duty and assignment, but instead he was posted to the Citadel to aid in the training of C-SEC officers in weapons and tactics following the Geth Attack. There he would remain until the destruction of the Collectors by Commander Shepard and his crew.
Following the Normandy's surrender, Avius came to meet Garrus Vakarian who detailed everything that had happened, together the two went to Garrus's father and explained everything in minute detail. Garrus was later put in charge of a token task force that worked to ready the Turians for the Reapers arrival, Avius was placed into this Task Force with the focus on solidifying their stock piles of munitions, medical supplies etc, to help in this endeavour he was given a token promotion to Captain.
When the Reapers did indeed launch their attack, the Turians were struck hard, which was partly understandable as the Turians had the most powerful military navy in the entire galaxy. Eventually the Reapers were laying siege to Palaven itself, for the first time in a long while, the Turian Homeworld was under attack. Avius was sent to Palaven's moon of Menae where he worked alongside the different units in trying to desperately hold onto the different encampments and positions that dotted the moons surface.
As the situation became more dyer however, the Normandy and its task force arrive to rescue Primarch Fedorian for a war summit that Shepard was trying to put together. Sadly Fedorian was killed and General Victus was next in line for the position, upon his successful extraction, Avius formally requested a transfer to the Task Force, which was initially refused, until Shepard required help in rescuing a squad of Turian soldiers on Tuchanka. The 26th Armiger Legion was called in to assist, Avius who had experience fighting alongside the Commander was promoted to Major and given command of a unit of the best the Legion had to offer.
When the Legion was formally transferred over to the SSV Isaac Newton properly, the casualties the unit had suffered fighting the Reapers meant they lacked the command structure of the past. In essence Avius was placed in overall command of the surviving 50 members of the once proud, strong legion.
Saebarp Aji:

Born in 2166 on a small Salarian colony, Saebarp Aji, or Aji to his friends showed a keen intellect and swift reflexes that are common traits among the Salarian population. From an early age he was carefully and methodically manoeuvred into a position that would ultimately lead to him joining the Salarian military and later their renowned and famed Special Task Groups.
With them, Aji served on various missions on behalf of the Salarian Union and the Citadel Council, this included a top secret mission to augment the Genophage that the Krogan were slowly and naturally adapting to overcome. He himself didn't work with any of the scientists or research, he was only part of the team that was protect them whilst they conducted their work.Following the attack on Eden Prime, his regiment the 1st Infiltration was tasked alongside other units of STG to look into and investigate possible Geth activity across the Attican Traverse as well as a little bit further on. It was during one such mission, that his unit uncovered a Cerberus base of operations that had links to illegal research being conducted in others parts of the Traverse. They relayed this information to the Council who in turn passed it onto the Normandy and Jutland, however Shepard was unable to investigate as he was busy looking into a research lab linked to Saren on Noveria.
So the Jutland came to look into it, upon their arrival, Miles was introduced to Aji who commented the Captain on his impressive war record thus far, stating that he had read everything there was to know about the man. Miles regretfully stated that he knew next to nothing about Aji beyond his name and rank, though Aji passed it off as STG doing its job. After introductions were completed, the two formed a plan to take the base from Cerberus soldiers, the plan was that Avius alongside his men supported by a Mako would launch a swift assault on one side, whilst the STG would infiltrate the other less defended side and shut down the defences.
And it worked, the base was easily taken and several Cerberus agents and scientists were captured, Miles left them with Aji for transport as Shepard was asking for assistance on Noveria. The two would not speak again until the aftermath of the mission on Virmire, Aji thanked Miles and Shepard on rescuing his comrades as well as his Mentor Captain Kirrahe. When they met back up on the Citadel, Aji was surprised when Miles informed him that he would be unable to go after Shepard due to a issue with their drive Core and that he was being sent to the Arcturus Station for refit and repairs.
Aji quickly understood what he was saying and jokingly remarked that new ships often have issues that are unforeseen until they are in the field. Though the pair knew the truth full well, Aji wished his new friend good luck and went back to work, his unit was tasked now not to hunt Geth, but instead to maintain a close observation of a Mass Relay that connected Citadel Space with the Terminus Systems.
He would return to the Citadel following Sovereigns attack, where he met with Miles, Avius and others again. Here Miles and Shepard explained everything that Sovereign was only a vanguard and that the Reapers wherever they were, were still coming and that they needed to be ready when they arrived. Miles slipped Aji a data packet which he thoroughly examined every piece of information within it, althoguh some areas seemed to be circumstancial if not borderline fictional. When he pieced it all together not looking at the pieces as individuals but a something much bigger, Aji came to the same conclusion.
The Reapers were coming.
Over the following years, he worked with others whom he felt were trustworthy notably the now Major Kirrahe to ready the Salarian Union for a war on a galactic scale one they could not afford to lose. They reinforced several lines of communication between Sur'kesh and the colonies, solidified defence systems and various other actions they thought would be of some help when the Reapers came. When the Invasion did begin, the Salarians as with the other Council races refused to come Earths aid, Aji was on Sur'kesh at the time assisting Kirrahe in the security of an STG base that was housing Krogan Females.
When out of the blue, an Alliance Shuttle arrived and a Krogan jumped out with Shepard following on. Upon their reintroduction by Kirrahe, Aji asked about Miles, Shepard explained the situation and that he was currently in orbit aboard the Isaac Newton. Aji followed Kirrahe in promising that regardless of the politicians, he would stand by Shepard and the Systems Alliance when came to retaking Earth. When Cerberus attacked the base to try and kill the last surviving female, Aji aided in the bases defence, using his skill in sharpshooting to provide covering fire whilst Shepard and his team moved from one level to the next in order to defend the female.
Once the Cerberus forces were defeated and forced to withdraw, Aji was tasked alongside his unit to reinforce the defences of Sur'kesh in order to ensure the safety of the people living on their homeworld at least officially, unofficially Aji went with Kirrahe to the Isaac Newton against orders. But this changed when Cerberus launched their coup on the Citadel, after its defeat, the Salarians openly put their support behind the growing Alliance. Kirrahe and Aji alongside 40 of STG's best operatives were transferred to Miles Clerk's command aboard the Isaac Newton and worked with Miles and Shepard on the different Missions the Task Force underwent.

Born in 2117 on the Krogan home-world of Tuchanka, Mog later Urdnot Mog was born lucky, not for any reason other than he lived. Ever since the introduction of the Genophage a thousand years before, the number of still birth children made the population crash and every live birth something more precious than glory for many clans.Upon the passing of his trials, Mog was accepted into Clan Urdnot, after which he began to hear the arguments from one of its leader, Urdnot Wrex. Wrex was a reformer for the Krogan, he recognised that the constant fighting between the clans made rebuilding and survival impossible. He believed that the Krogan needed to stop fighting if they were to live as a species, however a number of other Krogan didn't believe in his ideas and wanted to uphold their traditions, Mog on the other hand supported Wrex, he argued the sight of Tuchanka, that a world that was once filled with life was now desolate.
However Wrex's own father stood against him and even tried to kill his own son, Mog was not present for the attack but when he learned that Wrex had gone. He chose to leave Tuchanka altogether and started working as a wandering mercenary across the Terminus Systems, he did a few jobs alongside the infamous blood pack but refused to actually join. His travels came to an end on Omega the infamous criminal capital of the Milky Way Galaxy, there he settled for a number of years working as a hired gun for the Queen of the station, the one and only Aria T'loak. He mostly worked as a bouncer for Afterlife or as a bodyguard for the private rooms that only certain individuals had access to.
A few years of this made him a hardened and determined fighter and covered with numerous scars from different bar brawls. But then he overheard rumours of some planet called Virmire and how a Turian named Saren was manipulating the Krogan that followed him by offering them a cure for the Genophage. Wishing to learn more Mog decided that the time was right to return to Tuchanka in search of answers to questions that he knew that he would only find there, upon his arrival he found that his old loyalties were now a power house on Tuchanka.
Urdnot Wrex had used the action on Virmire to spur the Krogan into unification, seeking to strengthen their race as a whole, Mog pledged his loyalty to the Clan once again and made a firm commitment to the goal of Krogan unity and peace. For the following years, he would serve as a commander in the Urdnot militia working to protect the neutral ground that Wrex had created to allow fertile females to move between clans safely. However on some occasions he was tasked by Wrex himself to deal with problem clans that wished to challenge the future of the Krogan in favour of what he saw as outdated traditions. These victories lead to Mog being promoted to a high ranking member of Clan Urdnot second only to Wrex himself at least when it came to the Clans military strength.
When the Reapers launched their invasion, the Krogan were initially not included in the summit between the council races to co-ordinate the war effort. However this was changed when Primarch Victus requested them to try and help Palaven, promising the Alliance that if Krogan forces agreed to help the Turians then they would support the Allies in the Crucible and the attack on Earth. Mog was brought aboard the Normandy and acted as one of the three guard to Wrex during his time aboard.
There was a close call however when the Krogan learned of the Turian Bomb planted on their planet centuries ago, Mog very nearly head butted one of Victus's bodyguards when he heard the news. But was stopped when Wrex told him "We have bigger foes to face". Mog however was impressed with the Normandy and how different races seemed to be able to work together very easily despite their differences, he saw it as an example for the Krogans future, the clans despite their differences could work together for the future.
When the time for the Genophages cure, Mog was sent ahead to gather the clans at the Hollows, a sacred meeting place for the Krogan, however when the Krogan Convoy was hit hard during its transit to the Shroud. Mog was at the back of the Convoy and was unable to move forward to provide support, instead he and his troops held back reaper reinforcements from getting to the Shroud and stopping the ground team. As the news spread of the Genophages curing, Mog stood and watched as Wrex pledged his support for the growing Alliance as well as the promise that Krogan forces were to deploy to Palaven.
Though he wished to join them, Mog instead was sent to the SSV Isaac Newton to command a shock force of Krogan Battle Masters that were to serve in Task Force Normandy. Though there were issues at times between the different species onboard, Mog kept the other Krogan in line reminding them that Turians and a Salarian had given their lives to save their people. He proved his leadership during the Cerberus Coup, where he personnally lead the "Normandy Hammers" as they called themselves in support of Shepards retaking of C-SEC headquarters and then the retaking of the Citadel Docks which enabled more forces to be brought in to help retake the station.
Mog would stand alongside the other officers aboard the Isaac Newton for the following months of the war, becoming a part of the growing group of compatriots that very swiftly became strong bonds of friendship.

Born in 2140 on a small Batarian Colony, Karak was raised during ever changing times, growing up he witnessed the growth of the Humans and how they took worlds that they had intentions of colonising. When he was old enough he joined the Batarian State military and fought in the battles against the Systems Alliance's expansion across the region. Taking part in the infamous attack on the Human colony of Mindoir, which ended with countless dead and many more taken captive.
During the Skylian blitz, however his unit was part of the force leading mercenaries and slavers against the human colony of Elysium. During the course of the battle, Karak was captured Alliance forces commanded by Miles Clerk, though he expected to be executed, Karak instead was treated properly as expected for a prisoner of war. He was later returned to the Batarians following a prisoner exchange that had been negotiated between the two governments, though he would remember the treatment he received from the humans during his captivity.
He would later be recalled to serve in a special operation to hijack a meteor meant for the colony of Terra Nova and crash it into the planet. Here he was under the command of an officer named Balak, together they easily captured the meteor and the control station for the large thrusters pushing the giant rock. But just as he was halted on Elysium by a single Human, so too was the effort foiled again by the same person Commander John Shepard.The Normandy was despatched to investigate the lack of communication from the Asteroid and the workers meant to be managing its movements. Following the teams successful sabotaging of the thrusters and ensured that the asteroid stayed in geo synch orbit, they challenged the Batarian officers who offered a deal, the lives of the Hostages they had in exchange for them being able to leave peacefully. Shepard wanting to protect the people being held accepted but promised that he would one day find Balak and Karak to ensure they faced the Justice they deserved. Before leaving however Karak discreetly asked if the Commander knew a human named Miles Clerk, Shepard said yes and that he was in orbit acting as support. Karak asked the Commander to pass on his thanks for the manner he was treated during his captivity and promised that when possible he ensured that the Hostages were not mistreated.
Karak would return to Khar'shan the Batarian homeworld to make his report, though his fair treatment of the prisoners during the mission left him with few friends in the higher ranks of the Hegemony. Balak stood up for him but could not stop Karak being demoted and forced to take up a place in an outdated and decrepit military outpost on the furthest most edge of Batarian space. The issue was clear, Karak had served in the military for years with distinction as well as experience and awards from his part in the Skylian blitz, so the Hegemony couldn't just get rid of him, so they placed him somewhere that they knew would eventually force him to quit, thus keeping their hands clean.
At this broken down station, Karak would remain for the following years, only being forced out when word reached him of the Reaper invasion, Balak and the surviving ships of the Batarian fleet passed his station for resupply before going into hiding. Karak came with them, but not before purging all data in the station and scuttling it to leave nothing for the Reapers. Together they secreted themselves onto the Citadel among the refugees that had taken shelter there, upon their arrival they hacked into the council transmissions in order to ensure the safety of what remained of their fleet.
But then Balak began taking it a step further, using the access codes from the Batarians old embassy, he began to sabotage Systems Alliance efforts on the Citadel, he shut down the life support of several wounded soldiers, caused a major crash in the docks that killed dozens of soldiers. He was stopped after the Cerberus Coup had been foiled, Shepard was informed by a C-SEC officer of the discrepancies in the use of the codes and decided to investigate believing it was Cerberus operatives.
However when Balak challenged him, Shepard convinced his old enemy to join his growing Alliance against the Reapers, reminding Balak and Karak that even if Shepard hadn't destroyed the Bahak system then the people there would have become slaves to the Reapers. Karak agreed and eventually so did Balak, the pair agreed and formerly pledged the remnants of the Batarians to the Alliance. Karak was sent to the Isaac Newton to take command of the Batarian Special Unit being transferred to the Task Force lead by the Normandy and Commander Shepard.
Karak despite some misgivings among the troops he would command was able to maintain control with some help from the other races aboard. He showed how capable this Alliance was if it could make the Krogan, Turians and Salarians work together given their history, the fact that the Batarians had the desire for vengeance for all the Reapers had done helped. Though at times Karak felt he had to gain some advice from his overall commanding officer the very man who showed his honour and respect years prior, from Miles, Karak learned the technique of involvement. He had his troops mingle with the other races when ever they were either performing day to day activities or just relaxing, very quickly they all began to show a greater interest in others. To the point that a Batarian and a human were sharing techniques for weapon improvements.

The survivor of the ancient Prothean Empire, Cethi is the sole survivor of a desperate attempt by the Prothean Empire to survive their war against the Reapers. She was born into the war against the Reapers as the Protheans fought for a long protracted war of attrition against the Reapers, each planet, each city was fought over, with everyone who could hold a gun being drafted into the military.
Eventually however the Protheans knew that they could not win the war, their empire was already broken as they could not properly use the Mass Relays to travel between systems. The Reapers in overwhelming strength, hammered the greatest weakness of the Prothean empire, that being their conformity, since the Empire encompassed numerous species and races all of whom were forced into the Prothean ideology and culture, there was no room to adapt once the Reapers found out their weaknesses.
As the war dragged on however, a number of Prothean worlds decided that the time was coming that they needed to consider the future of their Empire. Some worlds such as Ilos decided to isolate themselves and go into cryogenic sleep to avoid being detected by the Reapers, others attempted to build the Crucible to defeat the Reapers. Then there were those like Commander Javik and his contingency plan, where he and around a million others of different "Avatars" would go into Cryo sleep until the Reapers returned to Dark Space, then they would awake and rebuild their Empire once again.
Cethi was part of one of these Contingencies, though she would go into Cryo sleep along with countless others of the Prothean Empire, they were not going to be sleeping inside some hidden bunker or hidden planet. Instead their plan was to construct a series of large ships of some kind and take it beyond the borders of the Milky Way, once in dark space, the ships would shut down all power except to the Cryo bays.
Here in Dark Space, they would remain hidden until a predetermined date that they believed the Reapers would have completed "Harvest". However after nearly 400 years, the time had still not arrived and the rapid construction of their ships had lead to problems occurring with their V.I's (Virtual Intelligences), the programs within began to break down and did not recognise the date that they were to return to the Milky Way. Instead they ended up remaining in Dark Space for thousands of years not hundreds, this like with the bunkers of Ilos and Eden Prime lead to a power shortage. Slowly one by one the ships began to lose the power they needed to keep the people in cryo alive, until one by one the V.I's began to shut down the life support to the individual pods in order to preserve power.
Though they also used small amounts of power to push the ships back into the Galaxy and to the nearest Mass Relay.
Finally just a month before the Reapers were to return, Cethi's ship the very last, made it into the Milky Way and to the Mass Relay, though by this point the need for power had meant that nearly all of the pods had been shut down and barely 50 were still active including hers. But 50,000 years is a long time and planets had moved from their previously known locations, thus when slowly moving between Mass Relay's her ship ended up getting caught in the gravitational pull of a planet. The crash wrecked the stricken ship, without any protective barriers due to the power shortage meant that the ship had no protection from burning up in the atmosphere as well as the eventual crash onto the surface.
This crash lead to only Cethi being the only pod to survive barely at least, she was discovered by an Alliance investigation team commanded by Rear Admiral Miles Clerk. Unable to access the pods structure or shut down the sleep cycle, Miles ordered the pod be taken aboard their ship and brought to the Citadel. It was around this time that the Reapers launched their attack, Cethi would remain in cryo sleep with power being supplied to her pod directly now to ensure her survival.
Following the Cerberus attack and occupation of Eden Prime however, along with the revival of Javik by Shepard and the Normandy, a new attempt to revive Cethi was attempted. With both Shepards and Javiks help, they were able to safely shut down the pods cycle and properly open it, Cethi similar to Javik reacted with hostility, but after an explanation by Javik she calmed down. Despite the two being the same species, Cethi flat out refused to work with Javik directly, she was of the mind that the Empire had gone and needed to be laid to rest, whereas Javik tried to hold onto the Prothean Ideology.
Over the coming days, she was given a full briefing on the state of the Galaxy over the past 50,000 years, with Miles volunteering to allow Cethi to read his biology and understand the language being spoken. She gave her story, of all that had happened and that she was willing to support the Alliance in the fight against the Reapers. She was posted aboard the SSV Isaac Newton where she worked as a keen sharpshooter with her Particle Rifle, able to pick off targets from a considerable distance, but she also worked with the research team on the Crucible project, where she became a good friend and go between for Emma Clerk and her father.
Since she had read everything by merely placing her hand on Miles Clerk, meant that she learned nearly everything to know about him. Most importantly the many regrets he had when it came to his Son and Daughter during their upbringing and his perceived failures as a father.

In the months following the Attack of Sovereign on the Citadel, Shepard and the Normandy were tasked with hunting down the remaining Geth in the Galaxy as the Council still believed that the Geth were the real culprits and refused to admit the existence of the Reapers.However whilst seeking possible Geth activity the Normandy SR1 was attacked by an unknown enemy and Shepard died during the Attack alongside a number of the ships crew. Cerberus brought Shepard back however with the goal of taking on the Collectors, a strange race that are very rarely seen. With a new ship and crew alongside some old friends, Shepard managed to discover that the Collectors were in fact genetically altered Protheans that were now serving the Reapers, attacking and abducting entire colonies of humans.
Launching a successful assault on the Collector base, they were able to detonate a nuclear device at its central core, destroying the entire base and everything around it. Though that wasn't the end of all the Collectors, a large contingent were not present when the base was destroyed, though the loss of their base meant they fell dormant until the Reapers arrival. This lone Collector vessel started launching attacks on Allied worlds and colonies across the galaxy alongside Reaper forces.
Around the same time, Shepard managed to convince an incredibly ancient race of being known to the galaxy as the Leviathans, the original builders of the Reapers purpose of preserving life, to join the battle against the reapers. Using a series of artifacts, they were able to turn Reaper forces against their masters.
When the Collector ship was crippled by an Allied task force, Shepard and the Normandy took some of the artifacts aboard, a great number of the Collectors within died when the connection to Harbinger was severed. But some managed to return to their original Prothean minds, with the help of Javik and Cethi, they were able to convince the "Awakened" as Cethi called them to stand down and then help fight the Reapers.
Chi is one such of the Awakened, he commands the small number of Collectors that now serve aboard the Isaac Newton alongside the other special forces of the Allied races. Throughout their time in the war against the Reapers, Chi as he became known due to his greenish hue whenever he used his biotics, chose to keep the other Awakened away from everyone else. Mostly because he could "See" that everyone else was still very much concerned about having them onboard, the fact that the Awakened had to speak through their omni-tools didn't make it any better.
But after a number of engagements with Reaper and Cerberus forces, they began to become more and more accepted into the fold. But they were still kept at arms length by the Humans.

Born in the Quarian Migrant fleet, Zira was raised in a tightly wound society, the centuries of living in a sterile environment meant that like every other Quarian in the galaxy, Zira's immune system was excessively weakened, forcing her to wear the protective suits that are now part of the Quarian culture.
From an early age she began working alongside the other engineers making sure that the different ships of the fifty thousand strong fleet remain safe for the people that rely on them for their continued survival. At the right age she signed on with the Migrant Fleet Marines where her technical skills were quickly recognised and became the focal point for her training.
Not much is known of her time in the Marines as the Quarians are rather private when it comes to sharing such data, though she has explained to others that during the course of her career she was part of a special project to find a weakness in the Geth Consensus using pieces of tech sent to the fleet by Tali'Zorah Nar Rayya. Though when she began to suspect other experiments were being performed she backed out and returned to the Marines, yet was informed by the Projects lead to keep the plans a secret under threat of a trial before the Admiralty.
She would take part in the early Quarian Assaults on the Geth systems using the hack that Tali engineered to overwhelm their systems. But when they launched the attack on their home system of Rannoch the Reapers interceded and gave the Geth a major upgrade that made them start to overpower the Quarians.
Zira spent much of her time aboard one of the Live-ships ensuring that the systems onboard remained safe and capable, as the different Live-Ships had been repurposed to become improvised dreadnoughts. If it wasn't for Commander Shepard and the Normandy intervening on behalf of the Quarians and later the Geth. Either the Migrant Fleet or the Geth would have been wiped out entirely, but Shepard managed to convince both sides to stand down and try to work together for a common goal of peace.
Zira despite being offered a place on Rannoch to help in the building of civilian settlements on the planet, decided to remain with the Marines. She was transferred over to the Isaac Newton where she would lead the Quarian forces onboard into battle where their technical and engineering skills proved wothwhile. Though she would often have trouble with the leading Geth unit onboard, known only as Prime, but over time the pair would begin to able to work together as the weeks went by.
Her work aboard the Isaac Newton with Prime, the other Quarians and Geth has been commended, for not only have they improved the standard systems, they also vastly upgraded the Drive Core systems on the Newton making it on par with the Normandy for stealth capabilities though the size of the vessel still makes it limited in the duration for its stealth drive as well as doing the same with the smaller escort frigates that provide protection to the Newton.

Not much is known of the Geth referred to by the crew of the SSV Isaac Newton as Prime, only that since the Geth achieved greater intelligence to the point that they had become in all regards fully evolved. It has become the prime leading unit for all the Geth Hunter units also known to Allied personnel due to it informing the allied commanders on board, that it shall act as the "Prime" unit for all Geth aboard.Even though the Geth are still synched, Prime has been regarded as their respective officer onboard, to the point that that if their is an issue to discuss rather than talking to any Geth they instead go to the unit known as Prime. Even though it continuously remarks that all Geth on board the Newton are part of the same isolated server.
As Hunter unit, Prime is capable of performing a cloak making it all but utterly invisible to the biological eye, unless one is specifically looking for them. A Geth Hunter can practically walk up to an opponent and deal significant damage with their Plasma Shotguns. This ability has aided the Special forces on board as they are able to perform greater infiltration missions against Cerberus and Reaper forces, for example when taking on a Cerberus forces attacking an Alliance Communication Hub. The Hunters lead by Prime were able to circle around Cerberus lines and get in and amongst them before attacking thus dividing their forces.
Since however their is still some animosity between biologicals and Geth, Prime and Miles Clerk decided that for the sake of peace onboard the Newton. The Geth will keep to themselves when not performing their duties and were given a small hangar for them to use for mainitence and repairs of their bodies. But hope for peace grew as the Geth units began working alongside the different races in upgrading their equipment, from weapon systems, armour and shield to more simple things such as making the Coffee maker stop breaking down.

Born 2154 to serving members of the Systems Alliance Navy, John Shepard has spent nearly his entire life in space, being raised on numerous ships and space stations as his parents were transferred from one posting to another. It was very rare for a young Shepard to actually put his feet onto real solid ground, even when he did it was usually only for at least a few weeks at most a month or two.
It was during one such occasion on a planet that Shepard ended up exposed to high level of Element Zero which is what started his permanent Biotic Inclinations. This later lead to him being recognised officially as a Biotic and given L3 implants to help better develop and control the Biotic abilities he will learn over time.He enlisted in the Alliance Navy in 2172, where he began training in different fields, ranging from his already existent Biotics to more engineering fields. It was during his time in the Academy that he would meet a future friend and ally Miles Clerk who was present to receive his official N7 designation. Shepard would be assigned to Alliance Marines serving around the Skyllian Verge, his unit was posted on Elysium due to the growing violence between Batarians and Humans.
What no one expected however was Elysium coming under direct attack directly, Shepard who was on leave ended up separated from his unit and made the decision to hold his position until reinforcements could arrive. He held off an overwhelming enemy force for countless hours until an Alliance force was able to get to his position, his stand against the enemy made Shepard a famed hero on Elysium even to this day, with the people who survived due to his efforts thanking him by name. Due to his actions on the planet, Shepard was awarded the Star of Terra which is very awarded for actions beyond the call of duty.
For his efforts he was also given a promotion to Lieutenant and granted permission to undergo the N7 trials, upon succeeding in them he was again promoted this time to full Commander and given a new posting. He was tasked to serve under Captain Anderson aboard the newly minted SSV Normandy.
During its maiden voyage to Eden Prime however, the planet was attacked by Geth units controlled by the Reaper Sovereign, Shepard lead a team to the planet to secure a Prothean artifact that had been uncovered. During the process of securing it however, the Beacon was activated and various images and sights flooded his brain, since no active prothean technology had ever been recovered no one knew what to make of it.
He would lead an unofficial investigation to obtain evidence that proved conclusively that the Turian Spectre Saren was responsible for the attack and succeeded. He was formally accepted into the Spectres and given command of the Normandy for his mission to find and take Saren down before he could finish his goals. This investigation along with others lead to Shepard visiting numerous worlds across the Attican Traverse, these included the discovery of a Rachni Queen that had survived whom he allowed to live if she promised to stay away from other species. Learning of the existence of Cerberus and taking down a number of its hidden bases and labs within the region and countless other actions that made him more renowned.
Following the battle of the Citadel however, Shepard felt betrayed as the Council refused to admit that the attack was orchestrated by a Reaper called Sovereign who intended to use the Citadel to unleash the entire Reaper fleet. Instead of trying to work towards preparing for the Reaper invasion, they tasked him with searching Citadel Space for any surviving Geth forces that had escaped the battle of the Citadel, it was during one of these searches that the Normandy was destroyed by the Collectors with Shepard lost in the process.
Though Cerberus managed to bring him back, Shepard still held to his ideals and his morals, although he worked with them to defeat the danger the Collectors possessed. The minute he learned that the Illusive Man wanted the technology the Collectors and the Reapers had to increase Humanities position in the galaxy, Shepard saw what was really happening. He destroyed the Collector base and cut all ties.
He honoured a request by Admiral Hackett to investigate a possible Reaper threat in the Bahak System, going alone, Shepard learned of the Reapers imminent arrival and was forced to destroy the mass Relay to ensure the galaxy had more time to prepare. But he knew that a reckoning would be coming, he allowed the members of his crew to disembark where they wished and took the Normandy to the Citadel where he formally surrendered to Alliance Officials.
Though he would never face a true court martial, he was held under house arrest and kept under constant observation and surveillance. Admirals Hackett and Anderson knew full well why Shepard did what he had and pleaded their case to the Alliance Defence committee who agreed not to undertake a full trial, instead they stripped him of his rank and command. When colonies started going dark, the Committee brought him back out to answer their questions, he knew exactly what was happening and when asked what they should do, Shepard made it clear the Reapers were here. Moments later the Reapers launched their attack on Earth and swiftly overwhelmed the defenders.
Shepard was able to escape the worst of the fighting with Anderson, though upon the arrival of the Normandy with Joker at the helm, Ashely and Vega at the ramp providing covering fire. Anderson decided he was going to stay behind and lead the troops still on the planet, Shepard was given his Dog tags and informally reinstated into the Alliance military and given command of the Normandy.
After retrieving critical data from Mars and reporting to the Citadel, he was broken when he learned that the Council would not be willing to come to Earths aid wanting to defend their own planets first. With Hacketts official orders, the Normandy and specifically Shepard was put at the forefront of a task force of ships that would work to gain allies and find what the allies needed to win. It was here that once again the Shepard met an old Friend who was to serve as the commanding officer of allied Special forces, Rear Admiral Miles Clerk.
Although technically Miles was the superior officer, the orders were clear Shepard was in overall command. But that didn't stop him from hearing Miles's opinions on mission strategy.
At the moment, Commander John Shepard is still undertaking missions across the galaxy to gain both allies and materials that are desperately needed for the attack on Earth and the defeat of the Reapers.

-Enemy forces have yet to locate us, however we must remain on high alert, based on communications from the Colony, the enemy have launched an attack and have begun to occupy the city. We must at all costs ensure that for the time being our position here remains secure, we shall allow refugees in as long as we are able to house them.

-The surviving members of the Engineering team have managed to successfully put out the fires across the ship and are beginning to work on getting the ships internal systems online.

"Miles took a beating on Eden Prime, a lot of people were killed, we didn't get there quick enough.The Spectre Nihlus was killed whilst helping us out, so was the young kid Jenkins, killed by a Geth drone, cut through his barriers before he could react.
There is something wrong though, I don't know how to explain it, but there was a giant ship on Eden Prime, it was clearly advanced, but I've got a feeling that it wasn't a Geth ship.
We're on our way to the Citadel now so we might meet up again... until then.

So we are going to head there before dividing the cluster in two, you and the Jutland will search half, we'll take the other."

"Commander Shepard Council Spectre has arrived on Noveria to begin his investigation into possible links between a Research Lab on the planet and Matriarch Benezia.
The Jutland was temporarily retasked to investigate a Recently uncovered base of operations by the Pro Human splinter group Cerberus. The Jutland made contact with the STG unit already present and managed to secure the site.
Closer examination has shown that the facility was being used to research the creatures encountered on Eden Prime known as Husks. All husks within the facility were eliminated with several of the scientists and guards captured, an Alliance frigate is on its way to retrieve them, the STG unit shall remain to guard them.

"We have arrived at the site of the Normandy's attack, we have safely recovered several escape pods, however a number of crew members are still missing and presumed dead.
Flight Lieutenant Jeff Moreau has reported that Commander John Shepard was still onboard when the unknown enemy vessel came around for its second attack.
We have yet to locate the body of the Commander, though we have retrieved the bodies of several missing crew members among the wreckage on the planet.
The identity of the vessel that attacked the Normandy remains unknown, Flight Lieutenant Moreau states that the vessel was able to detect the Normandy through its stealth drive and moved from a position that made it clear that they had been laying in wait for the Normandy.
I formally request permission to remain on station and continue the search for Commander Shepard.
And before any say the risk is too great, I have little care, nor does the crew. We served alongside Shepard and I consider him a dear friend, I will not leave without him."

The Admiralty as well as the Citadel Council understands your position and the desire you have to find your friend, however the risk to your ship is too great. If what you say is true and the enemy vessel was waiting for the Normandy and could still engage even when cloaked, then the Jutland is in just as much danger.
You are ordered to withdraw from the Cluster and bring the survivors to the Citadel for recovery and debriefing.

Your job will be to command special forces units that will be housed on the Newton and provide support to him while he is on missions. Don't worry about stealth, Alliance Engineers were using the Newton as a prototype for a new large version of the Stealth Drive the Normandy has, so you and the other ships will be able to follow along.
You are permitted to use all soldiers and ships under your command to assist Shepard in his missions though I shall on occasions request you undertake your own should needed.

Shepard doesn't think that the Krogan should be made aware yet, since the relations between them and the Turians are sketchy.
Delta Company will land a mile west from the crash site and secure an extraction point for when the Turians are rescued.
Alpha and Bravo team will land to the North East and engage Reaper forces pushing on the survivors.
Once the Turians are secured you'll meet up at the Extraction point and return to the Newton."

"Intelligence has discovered Cerberus forces taking possession of a position on the surface of Tuchanka, it appears their target is an ancient Ground to space cannon that hasn't been used since the Krogan Rebellions.
But if Cerberus has occupied it, then we know that they'll not just sitting back and relaxing.So Hackett is having us take it from them, Shepard and his team will launch an assault on the control room of the cannons, whilst we are to establish a perimeter around it, to deny Cerberus reinforcements from launching a counter attack.
Once the facility is secure then an Alliance task force will move in to keep Cerberus from retaking it."
Tuchanka - The Bomb:

"Okay Cerberus has got their hands on a massive bomb, here.
This bomb is massive, if detonated then every Krogan in the region will likely be killed and if they blame the Turians on it then we can kiss the Alliance between them goodbye.
Now Shepard and his team are going to go right through the middle of Cerberus' defensive perimeter, the Turian Ninth platoon will take the left flank, whilst we take the right."

Retaking Noveria:

Intelligence has discovered a Cerberus Fighter Base on the planet of Noveria.
As you are aware, Noveria fell to Cerberus forces a few weeks ago, but now we intend to take it back.
Now the Fighter base is key to Cerberus' control of the Sector, so that's our primary target, but the defences the base has make a direct assault a suicide mission.
Now obviously we are a distraction, but Admiral Hackett has made it clear, that if possible we are to retake Port Hanshan from Cerberus forces.
Be aware of course that Cerberus will fight hard for the planet, since a number of the Labs here do a lot of shady research for them, so expect fierce resistance and sudden counter attacks.

The Turian fleet is overstretched so, Hackett is sending us to meet with the Quarians, their willing to talk. But we're going to return to the Citadel first, EDI managed to obtain some important Data from the base, that could be used to solidify the Citadels defences."

"Quarians huh, Well unfortunately your on your own for the moment, Hackett has asked if we help in taking a Cerberus lab on Noveria, seems this location was a major asset for them. We'll rejoin you when we can."

"That's right, Bryson mentioned that Reaper scouts following his teams... so we may have to be careful,
We've managed to identify the location of a Dr Garnaeu, apparently he's found something to this Leviathan as they called it"
Rear Admiral Clerk:
"Do you want any back up?, if Reapers are following, then they'll be close by"
Commander Shepard:
"If we're quick it should be okay, but stay close just in case"

"You get the Co-ordinates?"
Rear Admiral Clerk:"We got 'em, priority is Dr Ann Bryson.... Shepard thats the problem, that Cluster has started seeing Reaper forces moving in.
So we can expect them at Dr Brysons location."
Commander Shepard:
"Agreed, have fighters and Gunships on standby, from what we know the location isn't good for a large force.
So we'll need you providing air support"
Orders:
"Okay listen up, priority is the extraction of Dr Ann Bryson and an artifact associated with "Leviathan,
So fighter squadrons will perform constant sweeps to prevent harvesters from landing troops or harassing Shepard and his team. Gunships will provide close air support, Kodiak Shuttles will provide decoys and protection for Lieutenant Cortez and his shuttle for when they go in to retrieve the ground team."

Commander Shepard:
"We have it Miles, its not perfect, but we have a rough estimation for Leviathans location"
Rear Admiral Clerk:
"So whats the game plan, search the whole cluster for it"
Commander Shepard:
"Afraid so.... but if any other ship discovers it, do not attempt to approach the planet until all everyone is together"Rear Admiral Clerk:

"Alright listen up, Thessia is right now hell incarnate, Reapers are overwhelming the defences across the planet.
But we are not here to help them win.
Our mission is to support Shepard as he moves to a Temple that apparently has something that we need to finish the Crucible Project.
Now due to the heavy reaper presence here, our mission is two fold, first to keep harvesters from harassing Shepard and his team as they move to the Temple.
Secondly is to keep a primary extraction point open.
Now Shepard and his team will be landing here at an Asari command post before moving onto the Temple. We'll be landing in a different area nearby that has more cover and a larger space since we don't know how big the item we are retrieving is"

Post Mission:

Rear Admiral Clerk:
"Shepard..... Shepard!"
Commander Shepard:
"We were this close Miles.... we had the information we needed in our hands"
Rear Admiral Clerk:"And knowing you, You'll get it back"
Commander Shepard:
"When is it ever that easy?"
Rear Admiral Clerk:
"Since whenever have you ever done what's easy....
Since the first time I met you, you've always done what was right, never what was easy.
When you returned from Virmire and the Council side-lined you, you could just put your hands up and said okay, but no you did what was right not what was easy.
The Salarians gave you an offer to sabotage the Krogan, you didn't because it wasn't right
You helped the Geth and Quarians find peace, was that easy?"
Commander Shepard:
"And you think that'll be enough"
Rear Admiral Clerk:
"Now you listen here, you little pessimistic son of a bitch.....
Let me tell you something, that I learned from watching you...
A soldier can be ordered to fire a gun, a soldier can charge the enemy when ordered
But the one thing you can make them do..... believe.... you can't order them to believe in something
you have proven something time and time again
You have managed to do what others thought was impossible.
Did any of them question when you went up against Sovereign?
Did they question when you went through the Omega 4 Relay?
The answer is clear, not once, because you were someone they believed in, the person they knew would always stand by them and do the right thing.
So my advice son.
Go find Cerberus and kick their ass, then show the Reapers why they should be afraid of you"
Commander Shepard:

Rear Admiral Clerk:

Commander Shepard:
"Thanks Miles.... "
Rear Admiral Clerk:
"Well I always know how to give someone a kick in the Ass...
Oh and Shepard, I've decided to take some of your advice, about the future.
Lets just say I'll be wanting you standing by my side when the Reapers are defeated"
I hope you have enjoyed this fan fiction, I swear at some point in time I shall create a full fictional story using these characters and plot in the future.
It is my hope that this will inspire others to continue their creative ideas within the Mass Effect Franchise.
