B.U.R.D Watchers: The Bureau of United Research and Defence

Purpose: Official
The Bureau of United Research and Defence is a multi national organisation founded in the aftermath of the second world war, to initially track down and recover various artifacts and artworks that had been stolen by the Nazis during the reign of power.
After an international summit in 1949 President Truman and Premiere Joseph Stalin alongside various other world leaders, expanded the purpose of the Organisation to encompass any and all historical and cultural artifacts. Leading to the Bureau being the most far reaching organisation in the world, being permitted to operate in nearly every nation on the planet.
Its new purpose was to ensure that the discovery, recovery, research and archiving of all historical and cultural artifacts, texts and artworks are done so under the terms of the Hague Convention of the protection of national and international cultural property. In 1978 the Bureau became linked with various National law enforcement agencies to hunt down and put an end in the illegal trading of historical items.
Purpose: Classified
The Bureau of United Research and Defence is a multinational Organisation founded in the aftermath of a series of discoveries by the Allied Nations of the United States, Great Britain, France and the Soviet Union into the technologies held by the Nazis during the course of the Second world War.
Initially the purpose was to identify locations that the Nazis had held weapons research, development and obtain relevant information for study. However once the Information was collected and thoroughly analysed, the Bureau informed the allied powers that the technology used by the Nazis was in fact reverse engineered from Technologies not of this Earth and that the Nazis interest in Occultism was more than a "Hobby".
In 1949 President Harry Truman and Premiere Joseph Stalin alongside leaders from various nations signed the B.U.R.D agreement, allowing the Bureau full access to their nations to build research, containment and military stations to better aid in their work.
This was brought upon after an Unidentified Flying Object crash landed in the United States in the area of Roswell New Mexico. Despite the incident being covered up the Nations involved understood that they needed a means of response for the future and that to ensure the continuation of safety for their citizens then the truth must not uncovered.
To this End the Bureau had power over all national law enforcement and military forces to aid in the purpose of Uncovering, securing, researching and in certain situation eliminating threats not of this Earth. In 1991 the United Nations was entirely encompassed to assist the Bureau with only the highest officials of all Nations having knowledge of the True Purpose of the Bureau.
Budget and Capabilities: Official
The Bureau has a limited budget set forth by the combined nations of the United Nations Security Council who are the chief supporters of the Bureaus efforts in ensuring the sanctity of historical and cultural artifacts.
Due to such a limited budget and support, the Bureau primarily relies on the assistance of various museums, research institutes and Government Archives for the protection of certain Items. With most work being done by those who work within those same facilities.
Despite having such a name and expansive reach, the Bureau does not have a large force of agents and investigators. Due to such limited manpower and equipment, the Bureau instead works closely with the various Law enforcements of the Nations they are within at the time to better ensure the terms of the Hague Convention of the Protection of national and international cultural property is upheld.
Budget and Capabilities: Classified
Despite the public belief, the Bureau has in fact by far the largest budget in the history of any nation. So much so that it can be said that the Bureau has in fact an blank check to conduct its work, this unlimited stream of funding allows the Bureau to recruit the best in all fields, whether they be scientific minds, investigator, soldiers and Public Relations.
This also grants the Bureau the most advanced equipment in the world, so much so that it can be said that whilst the world was still relying on simple computer systems, the Bureau was using highly advanced systems of communication and information storage.
Across the world the Bureau has hundreds of stations that are kept hidden from the public, these stations vary in size and purpose and are divided into several Commands.
-Asian - Europe - Africa - South America - North America - Oceania - Arctic - Antarctic.
Each of these Commands are responsible for the different stations within their "Sector" of responsibility. These Stations house a variety of sectors and sections all of which bear a critical purpose in the Bureaus tasks, whether they be everyday mundane tasks or those that require entire sectors and sections being placed in a state of emergency.
All stations are to be built deep underground with access to the stations, being disguised and censor sections ensuring that the stations are not as they appear. Example, Station 5-1 resembles an air force base. Whereas Station 4-6 resembles a farm near Uluru.
In certain situations the Bureau has been open to certain Paranormal and Exterestrial Subjects or species to join not as supportive elements but as full agents, troopers and operatives. However for security reasons these non human recruits are properly vetted and monitored for safety of themselves and those around them.
Defence: Official Name - Security
These Divisions are responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of the Bureau military forces, as well as ensuring that the Bureau remains ready to react to any possible dangers any where in the world.
Defence Sections serve as miniature fully functional military bases in top secret locations, within them are various military and support personnel.
The military forces themselves are divided into various sub sections each with a specific focus:
Investigations:
These sections are responsible for the direct investigation, identification and locating of subjects, objects and species that come under the Bureaus directive. Primarily the Investigative sections are dispatched to look into recent sightings of creatures and UFOs, however should an certain myth or legend take note, then the Investigative section may launch an operation to gather information on whether or not a certain creature is genuine or fabrication.
Security Sections:
Those of the Security Sections are entirely for the purpose focused security. Their mission is to ensure the security and safety of the different sections they are responsible for. Ensuring they are safe from any incursion from the outside and if the situation arises protecting their station from attack or incursions from the outside.
Response Sections:
Response Teams, who act as the first line into a situation by the Bureau are the units that are sent directly into a site before anyone else. There job is to recce the area for hazards, identify possible positions, objects, items of interest for the Science teams.
As well as this Response teams are sent in to primarily capture subjects for detainment and containment in other locations. For this reason Response teams have the highest loss of life in any part of the Bureaus operations.
Quick Reaction: Official Name - International Support
Quick Reaction Forces or Q.R.F, these are larger groups of special forces that move to secure the perimeter of sites and act as a supporting force for the Response teams, they are more heavily armed and are often called on to help the Response teams with mortar and heavy weapons fire. The Quick Reaction Forces always remain on Site until Containment take over the location.
Containment: Official Name - Antique Protection
Containment Forces are the more expansive force of the Bureaus military wing, there job is to permanently lock down sites for either removal, censoring or Lock Down. The Containment forces also serve as the "Prison Guards" of Containment stations and ensure that whatever is contained within such stations remain there and are secure.
Research:
Research Divisions are the most expansive branch of the Bureau, as their efforts have seen the modern age come into being and the research they conduct is often looked on as the future. Many members of the United Nations Security Council secretly credit the Bureaus research and development sections with various technologies and items that the world now takes for granted. Such as Mobile Phones, the Internet, Satellite Communications, Space exploration and many other discoveries.
Research is divided into Three.
Active Research:
The Active Research Branch are the larger branch of the Research Branch, they consist of the best and most advanced minds the world. Even Professor Stephen Hawking was a member of this Section lending his wealth of knowledge to the Bureaus efforts.
Active Research sections are secure laboratories where the scientists conduct their work, such stations are kept at varying classifications depending on their focus of work, for example those focused on the research of a biological focus are kept under strict lock and key and their locations are placed to be secure from outside interference as well as breaches. So if an breach occurs then anything biological cannot escape.
Where as other sections under the active research branch are placed under less classified names as their work despite being of importance does not bear a risk of danger for the outside world in the event of a breach.
On Site Research:
These are specialised teams that are sent directly into the field to analyse sites of interest directly before ensuring any samples, items and "Other" interests are properly categorised depending on their importance, safety and risk.
On site Teams however despite having to take risks are never sent directly into sites of interest before hand, the locations are always secured by Response Teams and the on site research are always watched over and protected by the Q.R.F.
Although technically researchers, the On site teams are not meant to properly research items or "Other" interests at the actual location, primarily they are to identify and Categorise for the Active Research Teams. On site, research the actual location, how a Incident might have effected the immediate area, as well as anything that cannot be properly removed from the Site for study.
They also provide aid to Containment with analyse on the proper procedure of the manner of containment for the Incident Site.
Development Research:
Whilst technically a research group, Development is still critical for the Bureau, the Development Research stations and their teams act as the Engineering and Construction section for the different Bureau Branches and their Sections.
Engineering are the sections responsible for a variety of focuses, ranging from mundane tasks such as the maintenance and upkeep of a Stations electrical and technical equipment as well as the upkeep of power systems. But also the manufacturing sections that produce the specialised equipment that any other branch of the Bureau may require.
Construction is the focus of building and upkeep of the various stations and buildings that the Bureau uses in its work. Depending on the importance of a station or section the Construction Section might consist of one or several teams as well as the various pieces of equipment needed for the construction of the buildings themselves. Construction are also responsible for maintaining and building the various specially designed containment facilities for the Bureau and ensuring that the construction remains solid.
Containment: Official Name = Public Relations and Information Department
Containment sections are the most far reaching of the Three Branches as their purpose is to ensure that the Bureau remains secret in its true purpose and maintain the illusion alongside aiding the nations of the world in covering up and containing certain pieces of information from the general public.
An example of their work comes with the Nuclear Disaster known as Chernobyl.
Containment is divided into Four sections = Active Containment, Public Containment, Censor Containment and Subject Containment.
Active Containment:
Active Containment Sections are those who actively remove anything from the sites of an Incident, that might be dangerous, hazardous or of risk to the rest of the world. This could be the actual site, anything that could not be transported for research or even the actual site itself, in some situations the Active Containment teams have had to resort to removing a Site from the map and in some extreme cases actively destroying a site to ensure successful containment.
Active Containment also aid in the construction of Cover stories Depending on the nature of the incident and the elaboration of the constructs needed for them. In the case of Chernobyl, where the teams constructed an entire "Sarcophagus" for the "Exploded Reactor". So then if any were to look into the event then there would be a clear focus point for cover story.
In extreme cases the Active Containment sections have employed tactics including complete evacuation of a region under the flag of emergency action or quarantining the spread of a disease.
Public Containment:
Those sections of the public containment are responsible for ensuring the cover stories created by the Censor Sections are upheld and are not ignored by the general population. To this effect, the Public Containment sections will bring in the law enforcement of the nation in which the Incident occurred to ensure that the public believes the lie and does not try to challenge the perceived occurrence.
In certain situational circumstances, Public Containment teams are also required to perform actions that would "Persuade" any individuals who were either active witnesses or actively investigating an incident. To this effort, Containment teams have been known to conduct a range of methods to this degree, including blackmail, threats of imprisonment and in the case of witnesses who had interactions with a Species or Subject the use of an altered C.I.A program known as M.K Ultra to alter or remove certain memories from an individuals mind.
Censor Containment:
Acting as the archivists of the Bureau, the Censor sections are brought in to remove any evidence of an incident and place false information in place to remove any challenge to the cover story. Censors do so by either completely removing a location from all public and classified records, creating a false flag story to explain an incident away as a natural event, a cataclysm, freak of nature or act committed by means of this Earth.
An example of such comes in the form of Chernobyl, where the Censors backed up by the Public Containment and Active Containment blamed the incident on a nuclear disaster, when in truth the blast was caused by an incident not of this Earth.
Subject Containment:
The Subject Containment sections within the various Stations around the world are in fact a form of zoo keepers. Their primary purpose is to maintain a standard of care for the Subjects and Species to this end they are to ensure that the Containment Cells, "Enclosures" and "Aquariums" that hold these subjects are properly maintained and the Subjects within cared for.
Some have argued that such care is a demeaning for the Bureau, with some nations arguing that the Bureau should be exterminating the Subjects not capturing them. However the Bureau has maintained its stance through countless years that the Bureaus directive does not define Defence, the Bureaus holds onto the definition of defending humanity from Paranormal and Exterestrial and defending the Paranormal and Exterestrial from Humanity.

Containment Procedures:
Subject 461's containment chamber has shifted in its size and accessibility since its first construction in 1948. Current Containment procedure of 461 is clear, no direct interaction with the subject is permitted unless in the presence of at least 3 individuals one of which is of the Containment security.
Access to 461's chamber is only permitted by Subject head researcher Dr [Redacted] and all who enter must have a security escort who is armed with a stun stick.
In event of a breach the containment cell of Subject 461 is to be flooded with a concentrated sedative that has shown to be effective in putting the subject to sleep.
Any interrogation or questioning of the subject must be done when the subject is within the interrogation chamber attached to the Containment Chamber.
Addendum:
Since the new designation and position of Subject 461 as a support element within the Bureau, certain articles of its containment have been repealed, The Containment Cell has been expanded into Containment Room to provide better comfort and more right and privileges have been given to the Subject. Including a television, limited access to the Internet and streaming websites.
Access to the Containment Room is still restricted for permission and authorisation however the subject is permitted out of its Containment room as long as it is properly escorted by Containment personnel.
Interaction with the Subject is no longer strictly controlled, interaction is permitted.
Information:
Subject 461 is a species of humanoid often looked on as the stereotype of an alien, with a body plan very similar to humans, only slightly taller, the arms and legs are very thin as are the subjects torso and chest, the head of the subject has an elongated cranium all parts of the body are completely devoid of hair or any other defining features except large eyes which are completely dark.
The Subject was discovered crashed in the deserts of New Mexico. Of the three subjects that were uncovered and safely contained, Subject 461 was the only one to survive the crash.
The Subject was placed in Containment until such a time that it could be verified for the security of Research Sections.
Despite numerous attempts from the Research staff in Station 5-1, the Subject did not have any open communications with anyone. Instead only being able to communicate at first via the use of hand gestures, then with cards displaying letters to write out what it wishes to say, now with the use of a touch pad screen built into the wall of its cell, the subject is able to directly communicate with the Researchers around it.
Post mortems conducted on the other two subjects revealed the complete lack of any vocal cords that have any resemblance to life forms on Earth. Instead tests were conducted that discovered that 119 had in fact a means of communication that beyond the range of human hearing.
Currently Subject 461 is held in a specialised containment cell within station 5-1, research and observation continues on the subject. Subject appears peaceful and interactions both indirect and direct by Bureau staff have shown no aggression.
Subject appears to have interest in human culture, to test this interest, a television was placed into its containment cell. All that is to be shown to the Subject must be closely monitored and reactions of it observed and recorded with the strictest detail.
Due to its openness and willingness to aid the Bureau in several investigations, Subject 461 has been granted the position of Consultant in investigations and research of Exterestrial within Station 5-1. Despite difficulties in communication between Subject 461 and the staff, the Subject has been of great help in interviewing subjects and providing information on how to best contain certain subject that show violent tendencies.
Subject 230 - 234: Kentucky

Containment Procedures:
All 3 subjects are to remain within their containment chamber until such a time that a safe means of direct interaction can be maintained. Due to discovery of 230-234 having a preference for activity during the dark hours. Artificial lighting is to be used in both observation and containment.
No access is permitted into the chamber unless during the Daylight Scenario period where all subjects retreat to the ante chamber which serves as a sleeping area.
In event of a Breach, the Containment cell holding the "Goblins" is to be flooded with a powerful tranquilizing agent, as well as the corridor leading to the cell it to be hit with powerful Ultraviolent lights to deter them should they get free of the cell.
Any interrogations or questioning of the Subjects should be done in the secure Interrogation chamber attached to the Chamber
Information:
Subject 230 to 234 are humanoid beings similar in body plan to other subjects such as subject 461, however 230 to 234 are considerably smaller in size, being the height of a 7 year old child.
The Subjects were successfully captured during an raid on the mining tunnels that are common in the state of Kentucky.
Subjects were first identified by investigative teams dispatched to the state in 1955, after a report from a family claiming to have been attacked by creatures they called Goblins. After investigating the site and ensuring that evidence to the truth was safely removed from the public eye.
Response teams were sent to begin tracking down the subjects and attempt capture. However the subjects fled into a series of abandoned mines nearby and the teams were unable to properly follow them.
For containment purposes, the area was kept under close observation with agents being embedded in the area to observe any future interactions between the so called goblins and the local population. It wasn't until 2012 that the so called Goblins began to make an appearance once again, after continuously harassing a local family in a different part of the State.
After confirming that the Subjects had resurfaced, a Response Team was dispatched to attempt a second kill or capture operation. However due to the location being in the immediate vicinity of several homes. It was decided to maintain a close watch on the location and observe the subjects to identify where they were coming from.
The Resident that had been the focus of the subjects harassment eventually found the location himself, the Response team set up an ambush point at the mouth of the abandoned mine that the Subjects seem to be coming from. Once they revealed themselves 3 of the subjects were successfully captured with the fourth having to be shot to prevent loss of life.
All four subjects were then taken to a standard containment station until such a time that a more specialised containment system could be put in place.
The deceased subject was taken to decontamination for post mortem. The Response teams secured the mine in which the subjects had been sheltering, discovering that the subjects had been dwelling there for only a short amount of time. Containment teams removed all evidence of their "habitation" of the mine and placed false evidence of local "Hoodlums" using the mine as a hideaway.
The three surviving subjects now nicknamed the Kentucky Goblins, have remained secure in their containment cell, due to the discovery of the subjects being primarily nocturnal a system was placed in the cells to lower and increase artificial light, to create the impression of a day and night cycle.
Despite efforts by the Scientists to establish a means of communication, the Subjects seem to avoid any direct interaction with humans, preferring to stay away from us.
Due to the similarities with Subject 461, 461 was questioned on what it knew of the so called Goblins, to which it replied using the method of communication available "They are Small and like the Dark".
Questioning into subject 461 has been granted continuation.
Species 110: Centipede

Containment Procedures:
Subject 110 that was captured by Response Team Epsilon, dubbed the Centipede is to be secured in a environmental controlled containment chamber in the most secure of our containment facilities, this chamber is to be strictly controlled in terms of environment that is to involve the humidity and temperature of the atmosphere inside as well as recreation of the jungle environment of south east Asia.
In event of a breach, the Chamber of 110 is to be shifted dramatically from a hot environment into one of extreme cold, it has been shown that a sudden change in temperature has an effect on the subject which knocks it out for several days. As well as this the cell is to be guarded at all times by a team of no less than seven containment troopers.
Due to the danger of 110's species, it has been decided that the Bureau will have a permanent presence in South East Asia, with the creation of a specialised reservation in the region to hold the 110 species. This location shall be a permanent site for Bureau staff and continued observations and containment of the 110 species shall be ongoing until such a time that a means of containment in the region and the safety of the public can be assured.
Information:
Species 110 is a insect like species not of this earth, observed to be extremely similar to the various species of Centipedes here on Earth. The main difference being in the size of the creatures, instead of being in the centimetres, they vary in metres, the smallest being roughly 1 metre in length to the largest being the size of a full grown male saltwater crocodile.
The 110 species has extremely powerful mandible which it uses to tear apart its food as well as a form of attack. It is also able to deliver a powerful neurotoxin through a single bite, which has been fatal in 100% of cases with no antitoxin or antivenoms having any effect.
Discovery of the Species 110 was first made during the conflict in Vietnam, the first response team sent into the region of the Central Highlands of Vietnam was wiped out entirely after a report of finding the subject. Several more teams were dispatched to contain the Subject.
With one being successfully captured and three more being eliminated by the troops. Casualties were high however with close to 82% of the combined force sent being killed.
All attempts at communication with Species 110 have failed with several injuries being inflicted on research staff by the subject. For this reason 110 is now to be kept in isolation with no entrance to the cell being permitted unless the subject is secured.
Observation into 110 has shown that it is carnivorous in nature with a preference to fresh meat, instead of other foods such as insects. 110 also shows a strange preference for timing of food, it appears that a single chicken can sustain the subject for a period of a month whilst a goat carcass can sustain it for an entire year.
Subject 101: D.B.C

Containment Procedures:
The Containment Chamber holding 10 is a reinforced pressurized chamber with walls of reinforced concrete and steel built into several layers, the Chamber itself is housed within a large empty space that too is pressurised and is lined with 12 high powered automated rapid fire turrets capable of firing rounds faster than a minigun. To be extra secure the entire chamber, research, observation and guard facilities focused on 101 are all housed within their own separate sector within the station.
Construction and Engineering personnel are to only enter the chamber for structural observation and repairs only when 101 is secured in an antechamber or rendered safe via the use of reinforced tungsten/titanium combined restraints and tranquilizers and even then a full team of containment troops should be present to hold the subject in place via restraints and electrical prods.
If the immediate danger of the Subject escaping containment, termination orders are programmed into the automated turrets that surround its chamber. As an added safety measure a purge system is built into the sector of the facility, should all previous methods of containment fail, all personnel are to evacuate the sector immediately.
Should they not be clear of the sector by the time an automated countdown is reached, the doors to the sector are sealed and the entire sector is set on fire with temperatures reaching as high 100,000 degrees
Information:
Subject 101 better known as D.B.C meaning Dangerous Beyond Comparison, is a quadrupedal extra-terrestrial creature, with a body plan similar to that of a excessively large silver back gorilla only with more leather like skin that is incredibly thick. The arms and legs of the subject are dense in muscle tissue and are incredibly strong, the Subject has a skull shape similar to a horse, but with a more hippopotamus ability to open its jaw to a wide angle.
Subject 101 was first identified after the founding of the Bureau, Soviet Authorities informed the Bureau of a creature that had inhabited the Island of Nazino in Siberia during the purges by Premiere Stalin.
It appears that when "Undesirables" were sent to the region to live on the Island, they encountered a creature that had already decided to live there. When Bureau response teams went to the Island to investigate they were horrified when the Subject came out from the brush to attack them.
Of the 18 men sent only three made it back alive. Reinforcements went into the area to capture the Subject for transport to a more secure location. They managed to knock the Subject out with the use of powerful tranquilizers.
Once the Subject was secured and on route to Containment, On site Research alongside Q.R.F units discovered the Subjects lair. Present were the bones of a variety of different creatures, from Deer, Fish, frogs, Amphibians and most gruesomely Humans dating back decades.
It is the opinion of the Researchers present that the story of Cannibalism among those sent to Nazino was incorrect and that most of the killings committed were in fact done by Subject 101. Censor Containment believes it would be better for the public to discover the partial truth of Nazino that Cannibalism was present on Nazino, but those killed to be eaten was done by others who were desperate.
Subject 101 now resides within the most secure Containment chamber ever constructed by the Bureau. Due to the heightened aggression the Subject displays, the Station chosen was kept close the original site of capture, to ensure that any problems during transport were limited by time and distance.
Yet caution should still be maintained as, on several occasions 101 has broken free of these restraints or woke too early from tranquilizing and attacked those within its Chamber, leading to many injuries and eighteen deaths to date.
All attempts at communication with 101 have proved absolute failures. The Subject shows incredible levels of aggression to anything during such times of heightened violence, an experiment was conducted to show an image of itself during a time of heightened activity. The Subject despite a moment of pause attack the image displayed. As of yet it is unclear if this was a lapse in its violent action or a genuine response.
Despite this, Subject 101 almost seems to actively seek out a means of showing its strength and its ability to either do extreme harm or ability to kill. So much so that on one occasion it physically "Punched" a hole into the containment wall. Which is made of reinforced titanium and quadruple layered Concrete.
However when not in knowledge of the presence of humans, the subject remains calm and relaxed, often wandering around its chamber. To test its reactions, additions were made to the Chamber such as climbing frames similar to those used for Great Apes, 101 seems to enjoy using such frames and often climbs them possibly as a form of exercise.
All food given to the subject is done so via the use of robotic arms which extend into the chamber through the layers. It appears that 101 does not hold the same reaction of violence to robotic arms delivering its food than it does reacting to the knowledge of humans.
Subject 101 is by far the most dangerous and violent subject ever captured by the Bureau, due to the number of injuries and fatalities, It has been decided that in the event of a breach, subject 101s containment chamber is to be flooded with tranquilizing gases to put the Subject to sleep, and then secured in place by the use of reinforced tungsten/titanium combined restraints.

For this reason the enclosure is a self contained habitat that alongside supplements to its diet will allow the Subject self sustainability.
Due to its docile behaviour, access to the enclosure is partially unrestricted, but safety protocols are still required to ensure that the Subject does not escape the Enclosure. For this reason the Entrance to the enclosure is double gated, only one gate is to be open at any time, to ensure safe movement between the inside and outside.

Species 498 is a creature in relevance to the 110 species, however unlike the 110 which is closely similar to the Centipedes of Earth, species 498 is more closely linked to the Millipede.
Its body plan is extensively similar to the millipede and just as its movement is similar. Species 498 ranges in size with the largest known being roughly 2.6 metres.
Species 498 was brought to our attention during the Congo crisis of 1960 to 1965, with a report from a local village of seeing a large armoured creature walking around in the jungle and forest of the Basin.
After the situation was relatively calmed, a response team was sent to investigate the sightings and validate the so called creature as not of this Earth. After several weeks a region was identified as the primary habitat of the Species 498 as an area of the North western area of the Congo Basin.
Full procedure was upheld with Q.R.F, On site, and Containment sections sent in to assist the Response teams with situation. The number of 498's present was judged to be in the area of around 100 individuals.
One 498 was captured and transported for research and observation whilst the rest were left alone in the region. The area they inhabited was turned to a containment Reservation for the species where they would live without interference from humanity.
For the 498 that was captured, it was delivered to the Kalahari station for observation and research. The Subject remains in a environmental Enclosure which produces that same environment in which it was discovered, everything was made to be specific for the Species preferences. Attempts at communication have proved unfruitful, it is the opinion of the scientists assigned to the Subject that species does not have a higher cognitive function and in all likely hood has the same intelligence level as Millipedes on Earth.
Genetic samples from the Subject prove that although it is related to the millipede species of Earth, it and likely its entire species has been altered at the genetic level with techniques extensively more advance than anything the Bureau has available at this time. A deeper analyse showed that the alteration was done many thousands of generations ago, and likely irreversible.
Species 498 unlike 110 is actually very docile and has never shown any form of aggression to researchers and support staff. Often enjoying the company of people within its "Enclosure", the species has shown to be completely herbivorous and enjoys more fibrous plants as well as rotten wood for its food source. For this reason Species 498 is not to be held to the higher restrictions as with species 110.
For this reason research and support staff are permitted free access to species 498 enclosure as long as proper procedures for containment are maintained. Ordinarily a subject requires breach procedures, however due to the docile nature of the species, 498 is deemed safe for breach procedures, instead the area in which it resides is to be contained in event of a breach.
As for the Species still within the Congo Basin, the Containment reservation is to be held in place for the duration of existence. With access to the Reservation being restricted to all but authorised personnel, the region will be classed as a natural preservation to the rest of the world.

Species 460 known better as the mermaids, is a species of aquatic based life forms similar to humans, with the upper body of a human being, but in the lower sections instead of legs, a joined structure which ends in a tail similar to aquatic based mammals, depending on the region in which the species is found.
Those found in the more open waters, have tails more closely linked to whales and dolphins, whilst those that live closer to islands have those similar to the Manatee. A common misconception of the species is that 460 can breath underwater, this is completely wrong as the species is more closely related to humans and despite being able to hold their breath for a long period of time close the 30 to 40 minutes at a time, like dolphins they still need to come to the surface for air. Another misconception of the Mer species is that of hair, the species is entirely hairless both genders are completely devoid of any hair on their bodies or their heads following the same evolution of aquatic life as other mammals such as whales and dolphins.
The Species has been depicted for centuries in various art forms in nearly every maritime culture throughout history. However it wasn't until 1954 that the species was formerly recognised by the Bureau after the discovery of a single specimen that had become beached on one of the Galapagos islands.
After a post mortem was conducted on the body, the cause of death was identified as an illness that had been contracted.
A search was conducted to locate more of the species soon after, with several populations being identified in various parts of the world, one living in the area of the Mariana trench, a second living in the area of the Galapagos Islands, a third in hiding of the Amazon rainforest and a fourth in the waters of Indonesia.
Attempts at communication were successful, with the species showing that they shared human level intelligence and sentience. To this discovery a new classification was created by the Bureau, which Species 460 was given, classification Sentient.
Due to the species having sentience and human level intelligence, the Bureau chose to give the species a series of rights and specially selected reservations in which the species could live in relative safety, these reservations would be under constant observation and protection of the Bureau. The reservations are the Mariana Trench, a section of the Amazon river system, a protected section of the Indonesian archipelagos, and areas of the Galapagos Islands. After communication was made, the species showed gratitude for the effort the Bureau was giving to protect their species.
Observations of the species show a close connection they have with a variety of ocean life, some having a bond with Dolphins others, river Dolphins. Some in the Galapagos find bond with the native penguin species. Species 460 seem to have a close relationship with these creatures in the same way we humans had a close relationship with canines during our prehistory, with both the 191 and the Dolphin or Penguins sharing in the fish they catch.
Despite the differences between humanity and Species 460, they have proved invaluable in assisting the Bureau in identifying, locating and containing more aquatic based subjects and providing us suitable locations to build more water focused containment stations for such creatures.
Due to their aquatic life, the Bureau has offered on several occasions positions as full agents and aquatic troopers to the Mer species to better augment the existing units trained for Aquatic operations for the better. At the time of this report, close to two hundred and sixty eight Mer are full members of the Bureau with the majority serving in the Bikini Atoll Station or North Seas Station.
Object 199: Chalice/ Grail

Those allowed access must maintain a distance of two metres away from the Chalice at all times and under no circumstance are allowed to touch, pick up or interact with the Chalice.

After investigations into the so called treasure trove of Oak Island, the Bureau dispatched a team to investigate and excavate the site, where upon the Chalice was uncovered, it was also discovered that the Chalice had indeed been discovered by the knights templar and hidden way during their purge by the Church.
The Chalice does emit a strange paranormal energy at all times, to test the theory of the Chalices alleged ability to heal and restore life, a member of the Bureau who had been recently diagnosed with an aggressive form of cancer was permitted to drink from the Chalice.
Within a few hours of the single sip, tests were conclusive that the individual had no cancerous cells within their body and all traces of the Cancer itself were fully healed. Despite this miraculous discovery it was decided by the Bureau and the Council that the Chalice shall be kept locked away and that none be permitted to drink from it. This is due to the danger that as of yet we have no knowledge of the price from drinking from it.
Subject 107: Wendigo

These include concentrated electrical prods that line the floor around the chamber . Access is strictly prohibited for all personnel, under no circumstances should the subject be interacted with until such a time that it is deemed safe for direct or Indirect interaction.
As well as this a full containment team must be present at all times with level 5 weaponry set to termination to ensure that Subject 107 does not escape the station.
To date Subject 107 has broken containment only once which lead to the deaths of 12 Bureau staff.

Subject 107 dubbed the Wendigo due to its relation to native American legend of the cannibalistic monster of folklore.
The creature was at the time of its discovery and containment the Extra-terrestrial that had lived on Earth the longest. The Subject has the body of a severely starved human but with the pigmentation of the skin being a much darker colour, the extent of the body is misshaped, the legs and arms are much longer when compared to the actual body. It is also noted to have long fingernails that resemble basic claws.
The main notice of the Subject is its skull, which is similar to that of a deer or Elk skull with no actual flesh, muscle, skin or even eyes covering it as well as this, both the muscle tissue of the neck are interwoven around the joint a the back of the skull and to certain points of the inside of the skull.
Subject 107 is excessively dangerous to other life forms around it, due to the constant need for the Subject to feast on flesh. At first it was considered to be a being cursed by some darkness if the Native Folklore is to be believed.
Response teams were able to Contain the subject via the use of a Titanium built trap and the use of fresh meat as bait to lure it in. Once secured, all evidence of the capture sight as well as locations that the Subject had been noticed were censored from the public.
Observation and tests done on the Subject reveal that subject 107 is not in fact a sole carnivore, but is instead omnivorous in nature, capable of eating a variety of foods beside meat. However information gathered at the site of its capture showed that the Subject solely ate meat during its time on Earth.
Tests conducted on a blood sample of the subject as well as tissue samples "Humanely" taken. Revealed the reasons why, it appears that Subject 107 has a much faster metabolism when compared to known species, this metabolism grants it much faster reflexes, healing and reaction timings, however it also means that the food intake required is huge. It is theorised that on its home-world, that which it eats whether plant or animal is extensively higher in calories allowing for better sustenance.
But here on Earth the only thing capable of staving off starvation for the Subject is meat, and it doesn't care what kind. Despite this almost constant hunger, the Subject does show elements of higher mental functions evidence of such was proven when a scan was conducted on the subject whilst it was sedated, the scan showed that only one fifth of the brain was fully functional.
This alongside other tests showed that it is capable of solving puzzles on a level of those given to Great Apes, it was theorised and later proven that it has higher cognitive capabilities, but due to the extreme state of its health, the brain has shut down all higher thought processing to conserve energy.
Originally the Subject was fed a constant supply of fresh meats, according to the records in one week Subject 107 ate, 12 full grown cows, 16 pigs, 19 goats, 27 geese and 32 chickens. Now however with advancements in understanding the Subjects physiology and metabolism, the Active Research Section assigned to Subject 107 have successfully created a synthetic substitute that has a sustainable calorie count needed by 107.
Results thus far have been showing success, with the Subject gaining weight and muscle mass, it is believed that it won't be long before the Subjects higher mental functions begin to re-emerge

Subject 251 is to be held within a underwater constructed containment facility known as the Shark Aquarium, access into the aquarium must be for essential reasons only. Any who do enter the Aquarium facility must maintain a calm and respectful manner once inside and ensure they do not perform any action that 251 will recognise as either disrespectful or harmful to the ocean.

Subject 251 is the largest shark in existence to the knowledge of the Bureau, the beast is measured to be the same as the largest specimen of the now extinct species known as Megalodon If not larger.
251 has body plan that combines the whale shark in size of the head, fins and tail but the skull structure of a great white shark or Mako shark. The Subject is mostly docile and appears to be sustained by microscopic creatures including plankton, this makes 251 more similar to the Whale Shark in its eating habits, despite the fact that the Subject has teeth and jaws similar to that of the Mako and Great White. This in turn has made it considerably easier to maintain secure containment of the Subject.
Subject 251 was brought to the attention of the Bureau during various atomic and nuclear tests conducted by the United States on the various atolls in the Pacific. What made the Bureau launch an investigation and dispatch a response team was when a U.S submarine was attacked by what was an unknown enemy.
The First response of the United States was that the Submarine was destroyed the Soviet Union, however after the Response team investigated the region in which the submarine was lost, they encountered 251. Despite the discovery of the Subject by the Bureau, it appears that its existence has been recognised by various native tribes in the Pacific. Most notably those who live on the Islands of Fiji.
They believed the Subject to be a deity of some kind who was referred to as the protector of the oceans, they called the subject Dakuwaqa and although the Bureau has disproven this, they believed that Dakuwaqa was a shapeshifter but whose primary form was that of a shark. The Deity was known to act as a protector of those who are good and punish those who are bad, some elements of this have been proven by research staff.
The Subject is primarily docile except when it views actions that it perceives to be bad or harmful to the world around it. Before successful containment was established, 251 was identified as the culprit for the destruction of several fishing trawlers, shark poachers and varies other vessels. However when 262 recognised that those within the containment facility were not harmful to it or the oceans, 262 calmed immediately and has been so ever since except in certain situations such as when a United States Admiral visited the Facility, 251 immediately attacked the walls of its Aquarium containment. It took the Admiral leaving for 251 to calm.

For additional security, high powered ultraviolet lights are to surround the chamber which must remain linked with primary and all back up power systems.
Information:
Subject 108 was captured during a sudden rise in violent crimes across the Philippine Islands at first pass over in importance by the Bureau. Attention was soon made after several sightings of a supposed creature in towns and some cities became more common, a Response team was dispatched and lead an investigation into the sightings and concluded a Paranormal entity was running rampant in the Philippines.
A full contingent of Censor units and Cover up experts were dispatched alongside the standard Q.R.F, On Site Research and Containment units.
They successfully tracked the so called Aswang to the basement of an abandoned apartment block on the outskirts of the city of Manila. Thankfully subject 108 has a direct aversion to sunlight which gave the response team a greater ability in containing the creature, however they suffered heavy casualties during their first attempt to restrain and capture the creature, of the full compliment of 15 troopers, only four survived with one critically injured, in their after action report, they reported that the Subject came at them and cut them to pieces in quick succession.
The four survivors took shelter within an apartment and waited for the Q.R.F to come in.

The Survivors reported that the only reason the subject broke off its attack was because the sun was starting to rise. All troops after this encounter were provided powerful ultraviolet lights to combat the creature. After several hours, the Subject was secured and contained.
Subject 108 is considered the most vampiric entity the Bureau has encountered to date, due to the extreme phobia the Subject has to coming into contact with direct sunlight and the mere possibility of direct sunlight. The Subject actively attempts to avoid any circumstance that will result in it experiencing such contact.
This aversion to sunlight has proved the primary force maintaining its containment as the powerful ultraviolet lights surrounding its chamber prove just as powerful to its phobia. Research on skin samples taken from the subject whilst sedated have proved that the subjects skin has a odd protein that reacts severely to direct or indirect sunlight and ultraviolet light, which is presumed to cause severe pain to 108 which given enough time and excessive response may cause the Subject to convulse and die.
Early attempts at feeding 108 proved failures as the Subject despite its apparent carnivorous nature would not touch meat, but was noted at drinking the blood coming from some of the meats provided. After this was identified through observation, the subject was provided blood from a goat, which it consumed rapidly, researchers noted that the creature was only feeding with such speed as it had not fed properly within a period of time.
For the most part the subject remains mostly benign within its chamber, wandering aimlessly around the chamber, it only becomes more active when it hears the robotic arms begin to move outside its chamber and recognises that nourishment is coming and become more active, constantly looking around and actively seeking out where the nourishment is coming.

Due to the risk committed by subject 113 nesting itself within the no.4 reactor of Chernobyl. It has been decided that the Incident site shall act as the Containment Facility for subject 113. A triple containment system has been constructed over the remains of Reactor Number 4, with Subject 113 inside, the first was the original construct aided by the Military of the Soviet Union in 1986 and the second and third being added in 2019 to provide extra security to ensure that neither the Radiation within the "Sarcophagus" nor Subject 113 get out.
As a result of the extreme danger of radiation within the Exclusion zone, only authorised personnel are permitted within the exclusion zone, access to the internal containment facility is restricted to only personnel who have been cleared for maintenance and standard security operations inside. Observation of Subject 113 must be conducted via the use of radiation proof observation points through safe two way mirror screens.
Subject 113 is to remain within this location until such a time that a more suitable Containment Facility can be properly certified and constructed as well as a safe means of transporting 113 without risking the safety of the public by exposing the danger of lethal levels of radiation.

Subject 113 was identified as the primary cause for the Chernobyl Nuclear Disaster, as it was later discovered subject 113 finds the most nutritional form of food in Radioactive material. The Bureau aided the Soviet Union with the fall out and containment of the radiation from the Reactors explosion, the Soviet Government also aided the construction and censorship of the Containment facility that will house both the Reactor and Subject 113.
113 was properly identified by soviet military personnel during various helicopter flights according their plan to smother the fire caused by the explosion with sand and radioactive absorbing Boron. Apparently Subject 113 was seen by pilots flying in a circle around the reactor during certain times of the day, another incident regarding Subject 113 is that it was the cause of one of the Soviet Helicopters crashing whilst hovering above the reactor with the loss of life of all onboard. After the fire was smothered and finally exhausted by the efforts of the Soviet Military, did sightings of the Subject cease.
A Bureau Response Team located 113 hidden within the bowels of the destroyed reactor feeding on the remains of the cooling rods and uranium within the rubble. Since then subject 113 nick named the Black Bird has remained mostly docile only moving around the internal structures of the Sarcophagus containment facility.
For Reasons of public safety, subject 113 is not allowed to leave the site for any reason, only when a means of safe transport can be certified by Researchers and Engineering Personnel should it leave the Facility. This is due to its apparent desire to feed on radioactive materials which if become extreme during an attempted transport, the threat of another Nuclear Disaster on such a scale maybe repeated.
Plans are in place for the distinct possibility that Subject 113 should completely draining the radioactive material within the containment chamber, then nuclear and radioactive waste from across the globe will be brought into the facility to dump into the Containment Chamber to ensure that Subject 113 does not attempt a breach of containment and seek out more Radiation to feed on.

Quite literally the Ark of the Covenant, the lost ark, that held the ten commandments, the Ark was held by various empires during its time, however it is believed that during the time of the Romans, the people of Judea hide the Ark deep within the Temple mount in Jerusalem, it wasn't until the Knights Order of the Temple dug into the mount and made the discovery that the Ark was uncovered.
Unfortunately for them they were unable to transport the Ark away from the City. Instead they resealed the Ark in its hiding place where it remained until the Bureau removed the object to ensure its safety and that of the General Public. Tests conducted on the Ark revealed a strong amount of Paranormal energies encompassing the Ark, for the sake of security, all research into the Ark has been done through observations by Cameras within the Vault, with only a few people allowed access to the vault which include out of respect, those of the Jewish and Christian Faiths and even then only for a period of time and they must keep their distance.

All foods and subsistence for Subject 214 must be conducted by the use of a robotic arm system that extends over the enclosure perimeter walls. Under no circumstances should any one attempt to directly feed Subject 114 unless given express permission by Lead Researcher of Subject Dr [Redacted]. And only then during behavioural tests and trials.
A Full containment team is to be present in the area surrounding the enclosure at all times. With second team on stand by in case of aggressive actions or a breach by Subject 214.

Subject 214 is a creature of aboriginal folklore and legend, many of the indigenous tribes of Australia, gave the creature different names and descriptions. Which made initial investigation difficult and identification and containment exceptionally difficult.
The Bunyip as the most common name refers to the subject is a creature that combines a series of different body plan structures, the head is similar to that of a canid, mostly a dog or in other descriptions by Bureau Researchers an Otter. However the body itself resembles more of a seal, walrus or sea-lion only much larger, roughly 6 or 7 feet from nose to the ends of its seal like tail, the entirety of the body is covered in a very short but dense dark brown fur that properly identifies the creature as Mammalian Paranormal. The length of the upper jaw around the nose is dotted in a series of whiskers similar to that of a otter or Seal.
Subject 214 was first identified after a series of disappearances in the swamps in southern Australia, investigations conducted by local authorities could not identify the culprit or cause of the disappearances and the Government requested support from the Bureau. After a Response team conducted their own investigation, they first concluded that local wildlife and the toughness of the environment was responsible.
But this report was altered after a confirmed sighting of the Subject by one of the team members, Subject was located living within a series of small billabongs a reasonable distance away from the main rivers. It was properly identified by the team after it killed and ate a full grown male 14 foot long saltwater crocodile.
After confirmation of its location was a true attempt at capture and containment launched, with three teams from Red Rock Station taking the lead with Q.R.F support. Due to Subject 214s preference for a semi aquatic lifestyle, the teams managed to isolate 214 into a single section of the Billabong and ensured that it was unable to escape. Despite multiple injuries, several critical and some deaths as a result of Subject 114s heightened strength, the Subject was successfully sedated and properly contained and taken to Red Rock.

Species 312 is a non earth species that greatly resembles the long extinct prehistoric species commonly referred to as the Elasmosaurus, with their distinctive long necks and flippers. The exact size of Species 312 from nose to tail comes to the largest on record being close to 14 metres in total.
Due to the relative proximity and relevance to the infamous legend of the Loch Ness Monster, the Research team has designated Subject 312 we have in containment who happens to be a female as Nessie. The Species has been recognised as piscivores, meaning they are solely fish eaters, due to this Station 2-6 was granted permission to construct a fish farm to provide a constant supply of fresh fish for the "Nessie" to feed on without having to rely on an external supply source.
The Species connection with Loch Ness was a real mystery for the researchers until subject 312 began to become agitated during a particular time of the year. Subject 301 is a paranormal entity that has been described by the various indigenous peoples of the Amazon Rainforest for centuries, the descriptions of the creature varied widely, which is one reason that the Bureau was hesitant to investigate thoroughly, however after the discovery and containment of Subject 302 in Papa New Guinea. A full investigation was launched to identify any possible natural or unnatural source of the sightings.

Positively Identified Subject 301 or the Mapinguari as a Paranormal Entity which had taken on the form of a Megatherium. Species 106 is a exterestrial creation, the creatures were first identified by civilians in the state of Arizona in the United States. The creatures showed a streak of heightened aggression to any one they encounter.
Due to the extreme risk of public discovery of the creatures, a response team and Q.R.F were dispatched once the location of the Species was identified by Thermal images conducted by Satellite. The Response team moved in the area and began to conduct operations to contain the species, whilst Censor teams created the false flag operation of Federal search for a suspect.
The Response team originally sent encountered the creatures in a secluded valley, away from civilian properties or roads. At first the team reported that the Species seemed calm and docile as images sent by the helmet cams, showed the species both adult and young appeared to be digging up roots and tubers from the soil. However once they realised that the Team was present nearly all the Adult excluding those with infants began to show extreme levels of aggression, which ended with the Team being attacked by the adult 106s.
The 106s managed to overwhelm the team with only one managing to survive, the Q.R.F found the survivor at the bottom of a steep ravine, with both legs broken and multiple severe gashes and bite marks covering her body. Bureau Chiefs decided to dispatch an additional 3 teams to attempt containment of the species with extreme prejudice permitted, allowing the teams to terminate the creatures should live capture prove impossible.
Due to the additional reinforcements, containment was successful with only a few 106 managing to escape the response teams and Q.R.F, of the sixty five 106 identified, forty two were terminated due to danger to the teams, sixteen were captured and safely transported to Station 5-1 whilst another seven managed to escape. After successful transportation and containment of the 106 specimens, tests conducted on blood and hair samples of those killed by the Response teams. Showed extreme levels of genetic augmentation, the base genome and structure fitted the general appearance of the 106 being that of a Mandrill primate, however considerably larger in muscle and body strength and weight, the average Mandrill male being between 42 and 82 lb, however 106 males come closer to 98 to 112 lbs.
Examination of their bone structure has proven much denser density for the bone layers, examination of one male specimen showed that despite being shot at near point blank range into the chest. The Rib cage only showed only partial cracks and fractures, which in normal circumstances would have utterly broke or shattered them.
Another surprising discovery in regards of species 106 is that despite being able to reproduce like other primates, the species has a strange system for their genes. Blood tests done on an infant that had died during its birth were compared to those of its "mother", to the surprise of the personnel conducting the test, the DNA was not a match, instead the infant had a completely different genetic history to its parent.
Similar tests on the surviving and deceased 106 showed the same pattern, despite being in the same "troop", each 106 had an entirely unique genetic code with no similarities that would be found in offspring and Parents or between Siblings. A theory was created by the Researchers assigned to 106, they believe that due to them being E.T.C, then a means of procreation was implemented in them, where instead of passing on their genes to another generation, the genetic code is mixed so that no one specimen has a similar genetic code to any other, negating the danger of inbreeding, with such a small population.

Subject 240 dubbed the Kraken was brought to the attention of the Bureau during a series of investigations of missing pleasure and fishing boats in the North sea and logs taken from the U-boat fleet of Germany during the second world war.

The Subject was successfully located in the waters off Denmark, despite difficulties for the submersible intercept craft used to follow the Subject. The exact size of the Subject was truly impossible to accurately determine as the Subjects tentacles were often noted to grow or shrink in length at certain times. Subject Entity class 256 more commonly referred to as the Kitsune, are a Paranormal race of shapeshifters found across the Islands of Japan. They bare at least three alternative forms, there is the form of a common fox, a Japanese woman and that of a Japanese Woman with canine elements blended into her biology, these primarily come in the form of Fox like ears, claws and nine tails.
After discovery of not one but 300 individuals, the Bureau and the Council investigated the beings very closely. Identifying that a number of them had in fact been living peacefully within human society, with no reported incidents that had been linked to the Kitsune in the past, to this end the Bureau and Council, chose to offer the Kitsune Protective Status, with certain articles of living that were agreed upon by the Kitsune, as for many centuries despite the wider public no longer believing in them, were continued to be hunted by extreme traditionalists.
The Articles declare, that the Kitsune are permitted to continue living peacefully among humans, as long as they are properly registered and ensure that the Bureau is able to locate them. Access to the enclosure is only permitted when the Subject is secured in the Antechamber/ Sleeping quarter. Time inside the enclosure must be limited to ensure that human scent does not linger in the enclosure, as well as this, all who do enter must perform a decontamination shower before entering the enclosure to remove any non indigenous seeds or insects as well as human scents such as deodorant.

Subject 302 is a paranormal entity from the deepest jungles of the island of Papua New Guinea, whilst reports of the creature were known throughout the 19th and 20th centuries positive identification by the Bureau was not successful until 1979.

Object 266 better remembered by Bureau Personnel as Excalibur is an ancient blade from the times of the "Dark ages" in the aftermath of the Roman Empire. It appears that the individual known as Arthur Pendragon and Merlin were indeed true beings of history, who obtained a special metal of Exterestrial occurrence and is not found anywhere on Earth as well as piece of Genetic recognition technology.
With these two items, Arthur crafted a sword of unimaginable strength which was intensified by the Exterestrial technologies used in its forging, which made the edge of the blade when activated produces a constant stream of heat that allows the blade to cut through anything.

The Corridor and the Cell is to be under constant observation and guarded with no less than two squads of Containment troopers as well as automated gun turrets with none lethal rounds. This is due to several containment breaches that Subject 332 has committed during its confinement, as of the current records, the Subject has successfully breached its containment cell a total of 13 times and has breached station containment 3 times, each time having to be recaptured by Response and Containment teams.
Access to the Subject containment cell is highly restricted and only permitted with a compliment of Containment personnel on hand to act as security. Before entry Subject 332 must be at all costs properly secured with a specially designed movement restrictive chains.

Subject 332 is a exterestrial species of the Milky way Galaxy, the species resembles Humans in the form of their torso and arms, however their legs are more akin to those of a goat, with cloven hooves instead of human like feet. The head is a combination of the two, with a human like face but more goat like ears and horns protruding from the forehead, on top of this the entire body is covered in a mix of light and Brown hair except around the chest and stomach. The Subject was first identified roaming around the remote mountains of Greece where it was originally believed to be a God by the Ancient Greeks, most notably worshipped by Goat herders in the wilderness and was referred to as Pan God of the Wilderness.
However as time went on it is believed that the Subject began to distance itself from Humanity, it wasn't until the Greek Civil war between 1946 to 1949 that the Bureau began to receive reports from operatives embedded within both sides of the Conflict. They claimed that soldiers, refugees and partisans had begun to see a strange creature wandering around the hills, forests and mountains. Still in its infancy, the Bureau launched an investigation and sent a response team to identify and contain the alleged creature.
After several weeks the Subject was positively identified and successfully contained without incident. Originally held within Station 2-7 where the Subject was identified as an Exterestrial Creature and given the designation for the records. However despite the similarities between humans the Subjects species there was no way to properly communicate with the subject, after several years of containment, the Subject began to show signs of aggression and broke out of its containment several times and eventually escaped.
It was not seen for several months but then identified trying to cross the Bering Straits from Russia to Alaska and was successfully recaptured and taken to Station 5-3 in Alaska. After several months of containment breaches the Subject once again escaped the station and disappeared into the wilderness. It wasn't until a series of sightings of a creature called the Goat man and Sheepsquatch in the United States that the Bureau reorganised attempts to recapture the Subject.
After multiple failed attempts the subject was finally contained once again and safely placed within a more secure containment cell within Station 5-2 despite these preparations however the Subject still managed to breach its containment cell and attempt escape. However after the final time, attempts were made to properly communicate with the subject and ensure that the Subject understood the gravity of the importance in secrecy.

What the onsite research team uncovered was apparently a grave of some kind within the depths of a long abandoned temple. The bones were the same crystalline structure of the Skull previously "found" by a Scientist Mitchell Hedges, due to these similarities, the Bureau replaced the true Crystal Skull with an identical replica, which will fail in all scientific tests should its validity be questioned.
Once pieced together the remains were that of an exterestrial species similar in body structure to humans, it is believed by the research personnel that this is an example of parallel evolution, where two species evolve in the same manner for a similar environment. However this cannot be proven without a living subject.
The remains have been dated to the founding of Mayan civilization, however due to the distance of the remains from the Mayan cities, the Bureau research staff are unsure if the Non human species had any direct involvement with the Mayans but possible could have been involved in the Inca.
The structure of the skeletal remains are incredibly durable and are almost as strong as Iron but are an much deeper examination into the structure revealed that the bones structure is more on a par with crystals and diamonds. Subject 461 has aided greatly the research into the remains and has been of great help in understanding the species that they belong too, it claimed that his species have heard of such beings with crystalline skeletons but were believed to be long extinct, when asked how long ago, he gave a time period much further back that the remains were dated. Meaning that this particular subject whose remains we have been researching died long after his species was thought to have died out.
Due to immediate danger of closer examination of the crystal skulls revealing the truth of non human life on planet earth. Identification of Subject 298 was proved exceptionally difficult for the Bureau as the Subject had a habit of constantly moving between the Great Lakes, never staying one location for more than a day or two at the most.
However once identification was made, the Response teams were able to relatively capture the Subject without significant difficulty or risk to themselves. The Subject was taken directly to a prepared temporary Containment Chamber until such a time that a properly constructed Containment Enclosure could be set up.
In the manner of intelligence, the Subject has the same level of mental capability to that of a big cat such as a Leopard, Puma or Jaguar. However unlike most other big cats, the Panther of the water has a preference for partial aquatic living, where it spends much of its time in the water catching fish and crustaceans only returning to the land to relax and rest.
Experiments done with the Subject to test its ability to hunt under water, the Research team discovered that the Subject actually closes its eyes when underwater, instead relying on the two long whisker like structures on the upper lip which can move independently to find food. Examination of these "Teslas" as they have been dubbed by the researchers, both were covered in nerve endings and sensory systems, allowing the Subject to pick up the distinct underwater tastes of a meal from a reasonable distance as well as be able to identify the meal among the rocks and muddy water.
Closer examination of the Subject once sedated, revealed two discoveries. The First being that the Subject was a male gender of its species, the second was the understanding that the subject had no earth based genes within its DNA, unlike with other Subjects that the Bureau has Contained, Subject 298 is an entirely Alien species with only physical resemblances of Earth Based life forms.

The waters surrounding the Chamber are to be guarded by automated harpoon turrets loaded with paralytic harpoon darts containing a specially designed neuro toxin based sedative.
Due to aggression and extreme violent tendencies of Subject 264 all observations of the Subject are to be conducted via the use of reinforced observation rooms which must have external bars and netting to prevent the Subject from actively attacking the Viewing panel.

Subject 264 is a species first brought to the attention by our co-operation with the Merfolk, who informed us of a creature that was most known to wander the waters around the Solomon Islands but was known to periodically be seen in the waters off the coast of Australia.
Thanks to help of the Merfolk, the Bureau was successfully able to identify and capture the Subject for containment in another location. Discoveries of the Subject showed that the Creature was a cold blooded species and preferred warm waters, hence why it has stayed around the waters of Australia and the Solomon Islands. With this information, it was decided to move the Subject to a location with Cold waters to discourage the Subject from attempting a breach and escape.
The Subject has some similarities to the Merfolk in that it is partially humanoids, with the upper body structure of a humanoid species, however unlike the Merfolk who have lungs and tails similar to aquatic mammal species on Earth. Subject 264 has the lower body more fitting to that of a shark and gills behind what is believed to be its ears.
The Skull of the subject is also slightly humanoid but has an elongated cranium presumably to support the internal structure for it gills. Also noted that like sharks, the Subject is able to replace its dentil structure, in the first month of containment, 264 lost 18 teeth during feeding.
When it comes to intelligence the subject has been designated as Sentient, however despite this, all attempts at communication have failed, as on each attempt the Subject acts aggressively to those attempting communication, even those of the Bureau who are of the Merfolk. To support the intelligence it bears, the Subject has been seen on multiple occasions to craft a series of intricately designed tools from items around it, whether it is the underwater plant life within the Chamber or the bones and body parts of the fish given to it to eat.
It has often been seen swimming around the chamber turning shells, kelp and fish bones into items similar to jewellery. However on other occasions it has been seen turning the same items into weapons and specific tools, such as knife, axe an even trident and spears.

Due to primary docile nature of Subject, access to the Chamber is granted but must be conducted out of respect of the Subject and personnel distance of two metres must be kept at all times to grant Subject a calm demeanour.

Subject 399 is a reptilian exterestrial creature that had been spotted on numerous occasions across the United States East coast, however it was most often noted to be sighted by the General public in New Jersey, Florida and Louisiana, which it believed to hold the best suitable locations for the Creature to live.
Response teams managed to capture the creature in the Bayous of Arkansas and Louisiana after several failed attempts in New Jersey and Florida to capture the Subject, with several casualties in Florida after the Team was caught out in the open by the Subject.
Due to the subject being a sentient species, the U.N council was convened and voted in favour of giving the subject sentient status and authorised communication. After numerous attempts, the Subject was proven to be unable to properly communicate with Humans, to this end Subject 461 was asked to come and provide assistance in communications. Using the same method that 461 uses for communication a method to have a "Conversation" was made successful.
"Interviews" with the Subject have proven two fold, the Subject was able to explain its reasons for being on planet Earth, it explained that it was actually only passing by when it encountered a problem and had to ditch its ship into the waters of the Gulf of Mexico and since it has been stranded.
The Subject has agreed to assist the Bureau as in its own words "Has grown fond of the foods here", the Bureau has granted special rights and privileges to the subject in exchange for its assistance in efforts regarding certain other subjects that the Bureau has contained. Subject is also regretful and apologised for the killing of some our personnel, it explained that it had encountered humans before that all tried to kill it as they had other reptiles in the swamps. It is believed that these individuals were poachers illegally hunting alligators in the Everglades and Bayous.
Biologically the Subject is remarkably strong, with both its bones and muscle mass have intricate layers that give it much stronger resistance to damage. As well as this, similar to certain Lizards on Earth, the Subject is able to "Drop" its tail should it require a quick escape and be able to regrow the tail once again. This was evident during its first encounter with a response team, when one of the team grabbed the tail.

This particular branch is vastly expansive and involves various species that all come under the umbrella of the Hominem Bigfoot Genus. The Bureau has been aware of the creatures known as the Sasquatch in North America since the 1950s during the aftermath of infamous Patterson-Gimlin film, when the Bureau tasked over 12 response teams and 26 investigative teams to identify and contain the situation before it got out of control. Sadly this effort failed.
However a greater amount of information was obtained, originally it was believed that the Subject was singular, however thanks to the efforts of the Investigative teams, "Clans" of the Creatures were found living across the United States and Canada, as far south as Florida to Alaska in the north. It appeared that generally this sub species of Hominem Bigfoot is the largest of the various sub species ranging from 7 - 10 feet tall.
Due to the number of the species across North America, the Bureau has decided to enforce the creation of numerous national parks and privately owned land to grant the species safe havens across the Continent where they can remain hidden. However the greater populations have been noted to live in the pacific north west with smaller populations stretched across the United States.
Despite opinions to capture and contain the species within a Bureau station, the opinion of the U.N council has been that the Hominem species will prove invaluable to the possibility of releasing the information to the general public in the far future.

A smaller sub species of the larger North American Sasquatch, however unlike its larger cousin, the Skunk Ape is significantly smaller, the largest only being around 6-7 feet tall on average, however larger individuals have been identified.
The species is also noted to have more oil filled hair to cope with the environment they live in when compared to the other species across the world, this is believed due to the humidity and thick vegetation of the Swamps where they live where an extra layer can be beneficial in protecting the skin. Less is known of this particular species due to its natural environment being significantly difficult to traverse for our Observation and Research Personnel.
Although the majority of the Population live within the wilderness of Florida, other clans have been noted to live with the dense swamps and waterways in neighbouring states.
Yeti:

This particular Sub Species of Hominem Bigfoot is an isolated species, with the majority of their population living within the mountain valleys of the Himalayas and Pamir Mountains, which is where the majority of the Sightings are recorded.
However it has proven difficult for the Bureau to properly estimate the exact number within these populations, mostly due to the difficulty in traversing the terrain in which these creatures often dwell within. It is also difficult as unlike the larger Sasquatch in North America that live in small familial groups or clans, the Yeti prefer in solitude, yet this may be only due to the hard environment in which they live, where it is difficult for groups to find enough food.
Often for Bureau personnel, the most common evidence of the presence of a yeti within an area is the finding of footprints on top of the snow covered ridges and mountains. It is theorised that unlike other Hominem Bigfoot species that have a territory where they live within the boundaries of, the Yeti are constantly on the move, traversing the snowy mountains in their constant movement from valley to valley in search of food.

Considered to be the originator of the Hominem Bigfoot genus, Bureau researchers consider the Yeren to be the first of the different species to have appeared. It is the opinion of the On site Researchers that the Yeren could be a descendent of the already known giant ape species known as Gigantopithecus that lived in the same regions of Asia 800,000 years ago.
However it is proving difficult to prove this hypothesis as the limited Genetic material of Gigantopithecus that exists to compare to the samples taken from the Yeren and other species of Hominem Bigfoot.
The Yeren itself is similar in existence to the Yeti as they are considered smaller of the Sasquatch species tending to be in the area of 7- 8 foot at the tallest. However unlike the Yeti that tends to live alone, the Yeren has been noted to sometimes come together to live in small groups of three or four. It is believed by Bureau Personnel that it the main reason for this is because of the greater likelihood of the Yeren encountering large predators such as Tigers. Often remarked as living similar to the Giant Panda, the Yerens primary source of food comes in the same form, mostly plants which include the various types of Bamboo, however the Yeren have been often seen on certain occasions digging up the roots for food as well as the leaves and stems.
Since rapid industrialisation in the Nations in which the species is found, the Yeren Population has been pushed back into the toughest mountain ranges, thankfully the Governments have proved exceedingly helpful in protecting the regions in which they currently live, using the knowledge of other endangered species living in the same regions as the cover story for protecting the Yeren.

Currently the Second to largest of the Island Hominem, the Orang Pendek was originally the most difficult to properly to identify for the Bureau as the areas in which the Species lives is also the same Jungles and forest that the Sumatran Orangutan are often found within. However more recently the species has been noted to live in the northern half of the Island with the Orangutan living in the south.
Unlike the other Hominem species that are noted to have more humanoid like bodies, the Orang Pendek has a body more akin to other great apes, with longer arms and shorter but stockier legs. When encountered by the Bureau researchers the species has often been noted to raise its arms and scream as it flees, it is believed to be a means of defence when running away to make itself look bigger than it actually is.
As of the moment not much is known of the Orang Pendek, as the dense Jungle makes it hard for the researchers to either find or even observe the species. This is made harder with the understanding that like other species of Hominem Bigfoot, the Orang Pendek is primarily solitary, however it has been noted that this does not make them unsocial as like with the Orangutan small gatherings have been noted around large abundances of food.

The Largest of the Island sub species of Hominem Bigfoot, the Yowie exists in the forest of southern and eastern Australia, with some having been noted to live as far north as Queensland.
The Yowie has been noted by researchers to be similar to the Sasquatch of North America, if not slightly smaller in size, but like the Sasquatch in America, the Yowie is noted to be the top predator of the environment in which it lives, but is not solely a predator but more of an opportunist when it comes to its meals. Observations by Bureau personnel have noted that the Yowie is mostly fond of small marsupials but primarily survives on roots, tubers and other plant life when food is much scarcer in the dry season.
Unlike other Hominem bigfoot species, the Yowie has been known to be the least cautious and secretive of the Genus, while it still prefers to keep its distance and avoid human contact, it has been known to actively interact with human items and on one occasion shake a car whilst a person was asleep inside it.

Thus far, the only identified Hominem Bigfoot in Africa thus far. Originally it was believed by the Bureau to be an continued species of Australopithecus an extinct genus of upright ape that Humans are descended from, however tests conducted on hair, skin and blood samples from one of the species showed that whilst the species is indeed related slightly to the Australopithecus the species is actually descended from the same ancestor as the other Hominem Bigfoot.
Primarily the Agogwe are found within the mountainous jungle regions that line the borders of several nations, but the majority of the population are found in the Democratic Republic of the Congo and Tanzania. The species are most noted to live in small family groups of about 10 individuals with the largest group being no larger than 14 full grown adults and around 4 youngsters. Behaviourally they act similar to other primates in Africa, often feeding on fruits, insects, tubers and other sources common in the region.
Very rarely seen by the outside world, the last recorded sighting by anyone outside the Bureau was in the 1950s which has proved invaluable for the Bureau to maintain the secrecy of the Species.
Subject 492: Kandahar Giant

Sadly despite best efforts of the Bureau and the support of the United States armed forces, the soldiers of the Green berets that encountered the creature and killed it to ensure that they keep the interaction they had with the creature a secret, one of the team members using the right of freedom of speech and remaining anonymous released the information to the public.
In order not wanting to create more interest with the incident, Mr X as he has been designated will not be sought out to ensure his silence.

The First interaction with the Subject, was noted by a squad of united States Army personnel who were on patrol with thein the mountains of Afghanistan in search of the Taliban fighters. After this squad disappeared from communications with their operational base, who fearing the Squad had been lost dispatched a team of the Green Berets to investigate.
During their search the team came upon a goat trail leading up the mountain, at the top they came to a area with a large space of dirt and rocks with multiple caverns opening up into this space, from one of these caverns Subject 492 came out and killed one of the Green Berets before being killed itself.
The Body of the Subject was successfully extracted from the area and sent to the nearest operations base, the united States soon informed the Bureau of the possibility of a paranormal entity encounter, an investigation and response team was dispatched immediately to secure the body of the Subject as well as securing the site of the incident to allow on site researchers to conduct their efforts.
Examination of the caverns at the site revealed that the creature had indeed been living on the mountain for an substantial period of time judging by the bones of the various animals including goats, lizards, dogs and others. Other evidence was uncovered, including makeshift garments that were made from the skins and leathers of the dead animals as well as various tools and weapons fashioned from the bones, flint and scraps from the equipment of the deceased soldiers.
To this day the Bureau has conducted more investigations to ensure that the Subject was alone in its existence. As of yet there has been no results.

Subject 001 is to be kept within a sealed chamber with the walls and ceiling of the chamber being made of a strengthened plastic material that is completely see through within the most isolated containment sector of the station. For security reasons the chamber holds both ultraviolet lights linked to the emergency systems within the station, as well as this an opening in the roof of the sector linked with several mirrors allows direct sunlight to enter the containment chamber.
This mirror security system is to act for the sake of containment during certain procedures, such as accessing the chamber for interrogation purposes, wherein the interrogator will remain in the section of the chamber within the mirrored sunlight.

Subject 001 known as the Count is by far one of the oldest paranormal entities encountered by the bureau, it also creates a difference when compared to other entities encountered by the Bureau as the Count was originally human and then became the vampiric entity.
Records and information given by the Subject himself detailed the history of the Counts extended life after 1476 when he became the entity he is now. The Count himself was uncovered during an extension of the London Underground efforts during the late 1990s, thankfully the workers did not actively disturb the count in slumber and this time allowed the Bureau to react and secure the Count for containment and get him safely to the Containment section of Station 2-4.
Since then the Subject has remained within the containment chamber designated the glass cube, originally that the Count was fed active human blood passed on by the world blood bank, this however was deemed to inefficient and the Active research personnel managed to create, formulate and produce a safe blood substitute that would give the Count the same nutritional value as real human blood.
